Very interesting this guy at 21:12. Yosi Horikawa. By the way did they come up with your so expected firmware? It was good to see that you have been to Germany. Thanks!
Z: and be careful with this case included with the H7. I ruined my logitech mx 3s white mouse because of him. The more you touch him, the more he paints your fingers and everything you touch white will also be colored. I had to use a solvent to clean the ingrained paint from the mouse, but I didn't completely clean it. Orange spots. You can't touch anything white. The cover had to be washed 4 times, then it stopped being painted.
Have you found the firmware update? They have 1.5 version I just saw. UPDATED: Update Notes for V1.5 1. Added SyncLink support for cover art and lyrics stored on MicroSD card within H7. (At this time only supported on Android, app version V2.1.5). 2. Added Resume function for MicroSD card playback. 3. Added battery indicator for H7 into the SyncLink on Eddict Player app. 4. I was considering this, as a semi portable but maybe I will choose something smaller than Mac Truck…. I was thinking of the Cayin RU6, until I saw the Earman Colibri then I saw this….. Can you use other players to control this or are you forced to use their player?
@@Gaurav18nov I have the Cayin RU7 and also the Fiio BTR7. I do enjoy the sound on both. The Cayin is a smaller footprint so a little easier to carry. The Fiio has Bluetooth & wireless charging so it offers a little more in features. Sound wise I would call them close although the Cayin is R2R and the Fiio is THX chipsets. I personally do give a slight edge to the Fiio in terms of sound. They are really close and I do enjoy the Cayin very much. Maybe the clarity in the top end comes through a little more for me personally with the Fiio. But simply as a portable tiny little thing the Cayin is about half the size and does sound lush. My 2 cents worth…. If you can get to demo what you are choosing. That’s the best thing you can do as sound, like taste is subjective….. Good Luck 🤞
@@_OpdeeMist Thanks for the reply, this is helpful. Now this has got me interested about BTR7. Since I don’t have access to auditioning these DACs. I can only rely on reviews and form my opinion. I have IE 900, and if I have to choose just one between BTR7 and RU7, which one do you think will suffice and sound best.
@@Gaurav18nov hey, no problem. As I mentioned earlier the Fiio has the edge for me with features and also just scrapes in by a nose on the sound. It’s only a difference in the high end frequency for me. I have tried to put my finger on it but it’s so subtle I am at a loss to definitively answer. If I had to try and put it in words. I just find the Fiio a little more fuller in the bright tones of say horns and brass instruments. I mean it is only maybe 3-5% fuller, so not a whole lot in it. But I can hear a slight difference. Like I said sound is subjective. I have not heard a lot of reviews that give the Fiio raving reviews. I guess at the time I found more reviews on the Cayin than the Fiio. I only purchased the Fiio originally because of the extra features and so I would have 2 options if I didn’t like the sound of the Cayin. I have never considered getting rid of the Cayin as it does sound sweet also….. Let me add this. I only listen using headphones. They both run the HiFiman Arya stealths & Sennheiser 560s well. So, no IEMs. I do like the fact that when home I can run around with my headphones on and plugged into the Fiio that is connected to my phone via Bluetooth. Which offers a little more versatility in portability whilst at home. I’m not sure if this helps you but, maybe if you can’t demo them. Maybe consider purchasing through a place where they take returns. Therefore if you’re not happy you can exchange or get your money back……

I bought a Fiio M11 a few years ago when it was still new to the market. I only used it during warmer months when hiking or on bike rides. After being out for 2hrs my battery would be around 80%.
