Not sure if it's changed since the video came out but in order for the hopper minecart to go to the unloader you must build on the south or the EAST side. Instructions state south or west side.
If the comparator flickers when the minecart comes in and just bounces away, it means your minecart is coming in too hot. To fix it, just replace the last redstone block / powered rail with a normal rail. The minecart needs time to slow down.
best fix for this is to have the cart bounce off a honey block. it completely eliminates the issue no matter how fast it comes in because it's sticky and holds the cart for a moment before it bounces off. honey blocks also conducts redstone so no need to change your unloader beyond the one block. it's it's a hopper minecart unloading unstackables then you don't even need redstone, a honey block will hold it just long enough to transfer five items.

Well technically it’s better than scaffolding for this because the scaffolding needs to connect to another one on the floor and I don’t think it can go on most transparent blocks

Use a honey block where the minecart reaches the end, as it is an entity like player it will stick to the block of honey and thus its momentum to rebound back is absorbed. The powered rail beneath will now be unlit because of the comparator and the minecart unloads down at hopper speed. Use hopper minecart instead of the normal hoppers below to drain the harvested items faster, though that would require tweaking the redstone, use detector rail at the end and comparator reading out from behind the honey block.
I hate mobile touch controls - lost count of the number of times I washed away my rails 😓. Running on 1.19.40 👍 Some minor changes I made * Use scaffolding to place your rails on (except where you need powered rails). This way you can walk around under the build! (Thanks to some other random comment from some other random RUclips commenter 👍) * Place dirt around the half slabs and water log before you start planting - at least on mobile; this will 1. Make it easier to plant, as the soil won't return to normal and 2. It's easier to water log in the first place I might consider only making the mine cart run when some observation is made, but since you tend to get a lot of "random" observations while the mine craft is running, I think that might be to much effort for little reward.
Yeah nothing works. I've made this before and it worked perfectly first try. This time the minecart decided it wouldn't unload or go around the track out of nowhere with zero changes. I didn't touch anything. I don't feel like rebuilding everything for no reason and this game is annoying enough. I'd be better off deleting the game and forgetting about it. I've always loved this game but it just isn't fun when nothing ever goes right.
This one takes a while to get going. But that isn't that design's fault. Pumpkins are almost as stubborn as villagers. Once it gets going.. wow. Much faster than I expected. Love this build.
I had it, and then I tore it down when I realized it didn't work. Then when I updated to 1.16, I built the old one (similar crop layout, harvesting on a 5 second clock) without realizing that this one is now possible.
In my world my hopper minecart gets filled really quickly but won’t dispense the melons into the chest at the same rate so it’s really slowing down the process. Did I miss something?
This was relatively easy to set up. Had a little trouble because i didnt orient the unloading on the correct side but i was able to troubleshoot the issues easy enough. Works perfectly and produces great rates
Thanks that and I had to make my minecart go at a little bit lower of speeds because it would hit a block than bounce back away from the hopper and would only drop off like 2items
Lol today I had a dream that silentwisperer said that this farm that he made in truly bedrock doesn't work and I commented on that video and said it works perfectly and I have a lot of melon and pumpkins. 😀 Idk why I even said this
Hey silent for the unloader for this farm the items pile up in the mine cart but don’t have enough time to fill the chests so it doesn’t pick any items up can you help with this? Edit: i have just found out what my problem was and if anyone else has this problem I fixed it. I had more than 1 chest of storage and the original hopper that was placed in the tutorial there was just one so i had placed hoppers underneath it and the way hoppers work is that the bottom hopper is prioritized and the items got picked up by the hopper and so there was little splits between item, no item, item on and on and on. So basically just direct the hopper into a chest then take another hopper output from the chest and build a storage system or whatever you want
I built another much bigger version of this farm on my world, but I ended up putting the dirt first in a checker board pattern lol, but *using an Elytra based bug/ glitch it was easy to place the rest of the dirt and pistons*
Use a honey block where the minecart reaches the end, as it is an entity like player it will stick to the block of honey and thus its momentum to rebound back is absorbed. The powered rail beneath will now be unlit because of the comparator and the minecart unloads down at hopper speed. Use hopper minecart instead of the normal hoppers below to drain the harvested items faster, though that would require tweaking the redstone, use detector rail at the end and comparator reading out from behind the honey block.
instead of observers you can just use an observer and daylight sensor because it will send a signal to the observer every 3 or so minutes and it's much cheaper then all of these observers
you need 3 quarts to make 1 daylight sensor while with observers you only need 1 quarts 2 redstone dust and 6 coble i would say the observer is cheaper

On fix I found is to extend the rail the put hoppers underneath it and remove the old system.

Add a second hopper directly under the golden rail used for unloading, and point it towards the original existing hopper. That will fix it.
Use a honey block where the minecart reaches the end, as it is an entity like player it will stick to the block of honey and thus its momentum to rebound back is absorbed. @@rehabbesheer1366 this should work great for ps4 as for as I’m aware!
I hate mobile touch controls - lost count of the number of times I washed away my rails 😓.
Running on 1.19.40 👍
Some minor changes I made
* Use scaffolding to place your rails on (except where you need powered rails). This way you can walk around under the build! (Thanks to some other random comment from some other random RUclips commenter 👍)
* Place dirt around the half slabs and water log before you start planting - at least on mobile; this will 1. Make it easier to plant, as the soil won't return to normal and 2. It's easier to water log in the first place
I might consider only making the mine cart run when some observation is made, but since you tend to get a lot of "random" observations while the mine craft is running, I think that might be to much effort for little reward.
I have always used the zombie pigman skin Minecraft released never thought it would be relevant!
Working so fine and explained so well, thank you!
It seems like the pistons are just making the pumpkins and melons disappear. Nothing is ending up in the chest, hopper, or Minecraft.
For me personally
@@calebbekkum1245 use a hopper Minecart you might be using a regular one
You’re the best! Love you 😋
Still works May 2nd, 2021 👍
5.7 solid blocks
3.1 dirt
2.7 rail
2.1 redstone dust
1.6 observers
1.5 pistons
1.5 glass
Most items in stack form(how many stacks) rounded up to nearest .1 decimal
For some reason the minecart unloader isn’t working. The minecart won’t park above the hopper and even when it does, it doesn’t power the rail again.
The the block in front of the comparator to a hopper the points into the other hopper. Solved it for me.
This one takes a while to get going. But that isn't that design's fault. Pumpkins are almost as stubborn as villagers. Once it gets going.. wow. Much faster than I expected. Love this build.
How long does that take exactly? Its been almost an hour for me and while it's good it's not as amazing as everyone said it was
What’s funny is that I already had this in my world xD
I had it, and then I tore it down when I realized it didn't work.
Then when I updated to 1.16, I built the old one (similar crop layout, harvesting on a 5 second clock) without realizing that this one is now possible.
Punnamaraju Vinayaka Tejas same
@@PunnamarajVinayakTejas ditto
In my world my hopper minecart gets filled really quickly but won’t dispense the melons into the chest at the same rate so it’s really slowing down the process. Did I miss something?
wow, I just built this on Bedrock 1.20.11 and it's FAST! What am I going to do with all these pumpkins?!
sell them to farmer villager(s)
@@not_sure_whatabsolutely this, this is the daily driver for emeralds in all of my worlds
why dont you use jx67's layout? its arguably the best and fastest melon and pumpkin layout, much faster than yours
Is jx67’s layout faster because of all the hydrated farmland?
I tested both designs and silent's one seems a bit more productive
This was relatively easy to set up. Had a little trouble because i didnt orient the unloading on the correct side but i was able to troubleshoot the issues easy enough. Works perfectly and produces great rates
Why doesn’t my minecart drop off everything?
you didnt make the minecart unloade rproperly
put a hopper facing down where the powered rail is, and then turn the original hopper so it is facing into the one you just added.
Remake the unloader u did something wrong
Thanks that and I had to make my minecart go at a little bit lower of speeds because it would hit a block than bounce back away from the hopper and would only drop off like 2items
No actually do what the guy with 2likes says but place a honey block so that the Minecrart sticks to it
Can you make a gunpowder/creeper farm please
@Dreroyce I know but I want to see one from silent because I love his type of farms
Still works in 1.20 very well
the minecart unloader doesn't work tho
I am loving all your one chunk farms! Please make more!!!!!
So do the observers pick up on the stems changing now because I remember trying to build this myself a couple of months ago and it just didn’t work
It used to be a bug in which observers wouldn't detect the stem change but now they do in the 1.16 update
It has indeed FINALLY been fixed!
Just built it. So far I have 6 of your farms in my world 😆
Lol today I had a dream that silentwisperer said that this farm that he made in truly bedrock doesn't work and I commented on that video and said it works perfectly and I have a lot of melon and pumpkins. 😀
Idk why I even said this
You must be a silent whisperer Stan lmao
I made this farm today and it works perfectly 👍
Thanks silent ❤️
Your a goat for make farms that work for everyone in the minecraft bedrock community.
Fun fact , no obe has watched the full video yet
I have tho..
I've done that!
Obe
But then I’m not an obe
I skiped to the end
I built another much bigger version of this farm on my world, but I ended up putting the dirt first in a checker board pattern lol, but *using an Elytra based bug/ glitch it was easy to place the rest of the dirt and pistons*
My minecart just doesn’t stop at the hopper system, any clue why that is?
Lag
U on a server?
@@asilfahd8063 no its a single player world
Use a honey block where the minecart reaches the end, as it is an entity like player it will stick to the block of honey and thus its momentum to rebound back is absorbed.
Thanks, farm works really well
Just wanted to say your a great guy and I appreciate what your doing
Yeah but where’s the panda slime farm?
idk, havent cared to find it xD
silentwisperer - Well played
instead of observers you can just use an observer and daylight sensor because it will send a signal to the observer every 3 or so minutes and it's much cheaper then all of these observers
you need 3 quarts to make 1 daylight sensor while with observers you only need 1 quarts 2 redstone dust and 6 coble i would say the observer is cheaper
As of 11.1.2024, works perfectly. Platform is ps5 and it was made on a realm. I built the minecart unloader on the east/right side.
