Farms are my favorite thing about Minecraft, there are so many different ways to make them, and there are so many different types, it never gets old! In todays episode we go over my thoughts on the top 20 farms on Minecraft Bedrock Edition, so quick bullet points on each, and some honorable mentions that didn’t quite make the list!
Welcome to the Bedrock Guide series! A guide series that mixes the things you learn from a tutorial, and the entertainment of a Single player lets play, or survival series, together. There will be plenty of tips for people of all ages and skill levels to enjoy here within this series. We will go over basic early game information, and more advanced late game mechanics within this series. This is a single player lets play, with a twist! We will be doing this on a server with BlujayGames, who will also be running a Guide series, and we will be playing through them in a single player fashion, but with some fun interactive bits mixed in! All honerable mentions: works
Thanks for the informative and accurate update.
You can list the copper farm as works
It won’t let me edit the copper farm, but thank you for telling me! I really like your videos and it means a lot that you liked my comment ☺️
When you mean broken, do you mean that it doesn’t work or is it broken in a good way?
@@its_gayzir5333 it means doesnt work i know this because ive tried the furnace xp farm before i watched this video so it doesnt work
@@ewa8723 oh okay then. Thank you 🙏
as a bedrock player i have never been so ecstatic to see videos exclusively on how to make bedrock farms. it is so insanely difficult for me to find farms that work perfectly for bedrock and arent insanely overcomplicated (unlike some)
I'm not going to lie. Your iron / villager trading farm is way above par!!! I have built this in my survival world. I have built your cow farm, your cobblestone generator, your basalt generator, and a few others! Your work is very inspiring! Thank you!!!
The true definition of best farm: The most useful & most efficient.
And easy to build
@@sanjanapoptani9929 but that can effect efficiency if its too simple, so its more of a preference
Nobody asked u
@@brodyb2858 and nobody asked for your complaining
And most fun
Thank you for _not only_ listing the chapter timestamps but providing links to all the tutorials! I never thought I would need a gold farm but I've just completed my iron farm and trading hall and now I need a bunch of gold to make golden apples, to cure my traders.
Thanks! I want to try and make viewing the video and finding what people need as easy as possible!
I don’t see the tutorial for the iron farm😢😢
Gold farm is OP early game, first thing I do with my first set of diamonds is make a diamond pickaxe so I can get obsidian for an enchantment table and gold farm. That way I have enough xp to get fortune 3 on the very next set of diamonds I find
To me, the “best” farms are survival friendly, simple and efficient.
Now, that varies depending on how far along you are in your survival world. There are a ton of super simple but not the most efficient farms that are great for early game, which you can upgrade to the super complex, tons of items per hr farms once you’re in late game (meaning shulker boxes for building mats, elytra and rockets for maneuvering, etc.)
That doesn’t mean you HAVE to upgrade your farms though, cuz there’s plenty of designs that are pretty simple yet provide enough that you may not feel the need to upgrade. For example, the overworld portal tick gold farm. Super simple to make, and produces a TON of gold, especially if you make a smelting system for all the swords (trident killer version) (also smelting is a preference, you can just incinerate the swords if you don’t have enough fuel, still produces a ton of gold)
So, I guess what I’m gettin at is it’s all preference. The “best” farms all depend on the version you play on, how far along in your world you are, how many materials and time you want to invest in building the farm, and how many materials you want to get out of the farm. For me, I don’t feel the need to make those redstone heavy, super complex but produce thousands of items per hr farms. I don’t need that much. But then, I’m not building a model of NYC in Minecraft either lol.
Great farms! So cool to have all of that in one survival world!
Was waiting for this one
Great farms! Love all the builds
Just found your channel the other day when looking at storage room ideas. Premium quality content man. Great builds plus great farms! Having recently switched to Bedrock, this is now my go to channel
Excellent video! You are a GEM fella. Thanks for the links to all the farms.
SWEET! HAPPY SUB 😎
This was the most compact helpful awesome bedrock farm video I’ve seen. It’s given me so much inspiration to build these thank you
Thanks Prowl love how well your channel and videos are put together. Much appreciated
I built most of ur farms I’m going to build the more of these farm. Been watching ur and blue jays since u started posting. Keep up the great work
Nice video, would love to see you make a raid farm next season, those farms are OP
Congrats 🎉 on 40k subs. Here’s to more 🤞🏻
Best list of farms ive seen sofar!!!, good job must have put alot of time in this,
You gained a subscriber!!
Dude this is insane, great work
Guardian farms are my favourite because they were the first huge farm I ever attempted, and they're always a big milestone in my worlds
All of these farms are so cool!
This is a great list and great video!
Hehehe
Henme
Great vid! Thanks Prowl
great video man! new viewer and you got my sub
For anyone in the late game struggling with food. You should build a farm in the sky in a mooshroom biome with 4 platforms and some nether portals. I designed it myself and now I have 9 shulker boxes of cooked beef
These farms and builds are amazing!
Thanks!
Just subbed because I’m a bedrock player and it is always nice to see some BEDROCK farms
These farms and the layout I'm newish the start of video your base is so smart I'm new watched hundreds of videos on farms trying to figure out how to put as many farms I can together so I can afk and get iron farm gold farm and food farms and couple other with one afk spot and this video gave me some amazing ideas now just figure out how to make it all look pretty and covered up in a really cool build amazing video
I'm surprised to have a few additional farms that aren't in your video: raid farm, snowball farm, chorus farm, slime farm. Some of these might be worth making in your next season if you want to mix things up. The slime farm also can use iron golems to kill the slimes, which is just as fun as the magma farm
I made a slime farm in my world with a couple friends so that I could build a castle and call it my bouncy castle
Great video!
For the lava farm, you could instead of placing a lava bucket on top, a cauldron instead with a potion inside. It becomes a potion farm
Hermosa colección de granjas!
I'm new to Minecraft and still only in early game. Currently working on a villager breeder and my first iron farm. My first two farms were a manual kelp farm and a basic tree farm, and those have been immensely useful for getting fuel, saplings, and wood for my planned building projects. Looking forward to building more of these as I build my world.
look at Subsyde's auto kelp farm. its amazingly usefull
@@GridicA - Thank you! That looks like it'll be a fantastic upgrade to my kelp farm and not too intimidating for my first redstone project.
I like all farms and thanks for helping
I recommend u redo this video for 1.20 when it comes out ! Great content keep it up ! A lot of Ur tutorials have been very useful to me !
Great Thank you 👍🏻✌🏻💪🏻👊🏻
The bamboo farm for all that easy wood lol one of my favorites. There's also the farm mumbo jumbo recently made on bedrock that basically collects the blocks from the deep dark by killing miss with fall damage and storing them in a massive cube you can either blow up with tnt for xp or mine for xp
I started playing bedrock for the first time since minecraft xbox 360 edition because my uni mates wanted to make a server together so I started up a realm
I have no idea how to work around the differences between this and java so thi video will help me a bunch to put together some useful farms for me and my friends
No love for the cactus farm? Lol.
Sadly they made Magma Cubes hostile to Golems in the beta that dropped yesterday.
It looks like the magma cubes can’t harm the golems though? At least that’s how it appeared in silentwisperer’s video
Thank you! Someone else who uses a mending bow!
Sure, some of these are must haves for me. Others I have lived without for ages and will continue to live without. I like your reasoning for putting the Stone Generator by the Gold Farm. You could put the Basalt Generator there too, for the same reasons (plus you would have great colour range, from the almost white of the Smooth Stone to the darker Top/Bottom of the Basalt). I personally think Bee Farms are higher on the list, and that was before Copper. But I don't bother with Super Smelters, I use converted Villagers as my Glass Farm. I don't need a lot of Glass usually, and if you Mend your Tools while buying Glass (and selling stuff to get the Emeralds of course) you can have a stockpile of stuff in case the mood strikes you to build a Glass House.
Agreed on the glass from villagers. Anyone here who has a decent number of librarians probably already has this available. Any time I need to mend something I head over to the trading hall and pick up a few stacks of glass. Sure beats digging up the desert!
Incredible 😁🙏❤️
Lots of good farms. I will probably build a couple of them.
For the 20th farm (Magma cube farm), I recommend using frogs in 1.19+worlds
it also produces frog light
Bamboo flying machine is my personal favourite. Sad to see it’s not on your list hahaha
this is very good episode
You are very good at what you do
For the spawner farm: the first one I made used a magma block to kill and had a hopper chest collection system really efficient and effective early game
Amazing
Raid farm is one of the best farm ever i make that farm with JC Playz tutorial and it works PERFECTLY!
You better watch out, JC Plays. Somebody's coming to town.
Damn, I like the way you so composed in your room
Each and every farm is a must build!
nice
I thought I had already subscribed, sorry prowl
Farms are cool
I love your big gold farm
Add to The list The kelp farm, with furnace for make cooked kelp cubes. Its good Fuel source for overworld. Each cube cook 20 times
Depends on the state of the game. 1 minute in the best farm is not the same as later game when you're making cosmetic buildings or farming withers.
Lol good to see the gold farm I invented is still in use altered slightly but still
Im a new sub from this video ❤❤❤
Be sure to follow the guide series!
Im just away from home booting on my old ps3 and i just wanted to check out what to do, bedrock is just so much extra and more complex than java, im just looking trough my old worlds, man the nostalgia
my favorites is got to be an interesting mob farm, big sugarcane farm an a slime farm
U are really beat Minecraft by enslaving all entities and all machines give ultimately all items perfect videos
Liked and subbed
Nice
That flower farm can be used to make blue orchid suspicious stew with a brown mooshroom cow which is arguably the best food in bedrock
Slime farm. You need slime for mostly all of these builds.
Your Magma Cube farm is patched and the cubes now attack golems but not snow golems. Slime farms using snow golems are now patched as well so use iron golems instead. (10/29/21)
3:06 RIP Fish Farm in 1.18, if they don't revert the change that fish only spawn at y50-64
18:35 The bug that makes Magma Cube don't attack golems got fixed on the latest beta ☹️
Fish farm :(
I never liked fish farm but for people that built it is unfortunate.
I already have a fish farm for those spawning levels. Not going to lie its a pain to build compared to others but it also isn't an eyesore.
@@m2lansky fish farm are great for early game where you don't have enough food
@@jwats05 how you built it pls tell
I have my piglin farm with a bamboo powered smelter array, and auto flesh disposal. Full auto... Although you do need to compact the gold manually.
The flying machine bamboo farm is great
U should build it😁
My favorite farm is the kelp farm, It is not the most useful but it is fun to watch
My favorite is iron and tree farm. Cannot imagine my survival world without these! What I miss and didn't find any good tutorial for is a raw chicken farm. RUclips is full of cooked chicken farms tutorials but raw chicken impossible to find.
The only difference to get raw chicken is to put a slab (I think) in place of the lava. Chicken grows up and suffocates in the slab instead of getting cooked in the lava. I did this then ran the raw chickens into an XP furnace. Unfortunately, even with 30+ chickens it's slower than manually farming potatoes in just a 9x9 farm.
I always build ASAP in my base a passive mob farm, that way before you know it, you have gunpowder, bones, bows, arrows, etc, and lots of it as you are spending lots of time in your base
Those would be hostile mobs not passive mobs, but same though
For the mob farm could you use entity cramming to kill the mobs faster?
Villager trading is OMG 😲!
The Corp farms are my fav
It's so nice this guy is on bedrock
I absolutely love witch farms.
They are awesome!
stoped playing bedrock because thought there was no farm dezins that were actuly good thanks
Had to download this video
What a best farm is. The best farm
I am a beginning player with redstone and automatic farms, what are the best farms to start with? I have a crop farm (villager) and a iron farm.
Ps has somebody tips for nice looking builds? I am really bad at building…
Sorry for bad English, i am Dutch
I didn't understand the fortress farm. If there are specific places in bedrock where the mobs of fortress that spawn, why is there any need of spawnproofing? And if you did it for the purpose of efficiency then simulation distance could really help in this type of farms. Btw no hate for the farm i know you did it just to avoid piglins to spawn. Other thing, that xp bank you built should be close with your fish farm. This will give you opportunities to build a kelp farm for fuel and fish for the food slot in the smoker. Get enough smokers for kelp to turned into blocks and more smokers to turn those fishes into cooked ones (throw the cooked fishes as they are of no use after they are cooked and to reduce lag) make the farm good enough that the spawns are instantly dead and keep up with all the smokers. This will give x amount of exp in x amount of time (i prefer to do an overnight test and i don't know what the rates are because it depends on how many smokers that you added) and to build it in a chunk to avoid the loading.
@Viraj mobs spawn quickly at some locations and slowly elsewhere. You still have to block the other spawn spots or they will clog up the mob cap and kill your rates
Jeez the gold portal tick farm I can just feel my game lagging from just watching this
I would build all the bedrock farms. Love them all. Just thought of a farm that might not be able to be built, a ghast farm. Would be interesting if it could be done.
Ghast farms are easy to build, and you have many tutorials on RUclips with nether portals. Best source of gunpowder on bedrock
if you make a bartering farm make a redstone clock with a sticky piston to a block of gold so they trade really quickly
It was fixed in 1.18
@@user-xc7vk6bt3f nope, still works in 1.19
I don’t have the same exp bank but something similar lol I can smelt 10 iron bars and be level 150 and max enchantment anything I want lol
The furnace farm was changed in 18.10
This is all amazing and I will build most of it but how I get all wood for this?. Tips?
Is it possible for me to put a comparator behind a hopper to detect when it gets full and then power a dispensor with that comparator red stone line that will have a second hopper connected to the same chest as the first hopper, that way once the comparator detects the left hopper is full the right hopper will also be full but then it’ll start powering the dropper to send extras elsewhere like to a smelter or junk disposal as to not clog up a bull storage/sorting system…
Alternatively if the hopper - comparator - dispensor won’t work is this other idea possible?:
If I have a double hopper speed input for my sorter by having 2 mine carts with hoppers unloading into 2 hoppers that lead into the same chest, will there be enough items filling into the chest that I can split half of each item between two hoppers below it and send them elsewhere?
If this doesn’t work I’m just going to have to have a SECOND spot in my item sorter for the exact same item, then when it is full all the way to the hopper it’ll go to the next slot and start sending it off but that is extremely inefficient because it requires two sorters chunks for each item. I’m trying to find a way that I can let the bottom chests fill up and only take items out when the top chest is full, or be sending half the items away the whole time so it takes twice as long for my system to fill up. The goal is to send half (or more) of my kelp to a bull storage to be crafted into dried kelp blocks then to be sent into a smelting system. Same with wool, as I built auto farm for them but I lack a fundamental understanding of how red stone components work and I’m not really sure if any of it will work but I know simply putting 2 hoppers from one chest makes them fight over the item and it just doesn’t work…
Moss farm. Add on 2 more stone generators and a composers and you get a bone meal farm.
The best farm for me is the most efficient. And what i like to build the most is the item sorter. And the two farms i can't see without in my world it is gold and iron farm. By the way when we will get the world download?
World download link is in the description.
It's always fun to build things legit my god the time and patience
Do a tutorial of your super smelter pls
Best world ever 🥰
I need a trident farm, but to get tridents I need tridents 😂😂😂
Do skeleton spawners still exist? I haven’t found anything but spider spawners since the update. Am I just not looking in the right place?
I play on Java, and the only two farms I really need is a cow crusher and an iron farm,. Mix that with a village breeder and I'm set. But farms are super different on bedrock
Yeah they fuckin suck on bedrock
everything sounds good until you realize how much work you have to do to get these farms running especially for a player like me that needs to watch farm tutorials to build my farms 😂 i really need to learn redstone it just seems so complicated
the second problem is finding where to place these currently trying to map out where i should place my iron farm, villager, breeder and zombie converting station for a trading hall that i haven’t even built yet 😅
Best farm=most useful (to me or my current project), easiest to build. 🙃
