    The videos on this channel and the content on the website really helped me to tackle investigation of my machine. I got an "E32 - Conductimetricsensing oscillation frequency too low" error code, which according to the Electrolux manual is an Electrical / Main Board fault. After finding no obvious wiring faults, I spent £160 on a new board but this didn't fix the fault. Whilst banging my head on the closed door in desperation I heard a microswitch clicking when I applied some pressure to the door. I investigated further and found that the little plastic tongue in the top of the door wasn't going far enough into the body of the machine to activate the switch. I found that extending the plastic tongue by about 2mm using a piece of tape fixed the problem!

    Thank you for the video. I knew my motor cap needed replacing (bump start test after the hum started) and this helped me get to the right place. To note, my dryer has a cap for the motor above the cap in the video, part of the white cable tray in front of the spring. Thought I'd help anyone else who has a similar dryer. :)

    Hi Paul, from your video I was able to figure out either the float switch or the pump was not working, removed the pump and applied 240v, it turned so had a look at the float switch, I removed it and it all looked good so think it may have stuck down stopping the pump coming on. Cleaned out the reservoir put it back together and filled it with water as the machine was drying, it pumped the water out as the level got near the top. Hope it stays fixed. I very much appreciated your advice.

    Hi Paul, very informative video. Thanks a lot. It's very rare, but another test that can be done on the compressor is to measure resistance between each of the terminals, common, run, start, and the compressor chasis, to check for current leaking. Greetings from Spain.

    At 5:20 you mention the heating/cooling matrix and that you are not going to show it on this video since the drum needs to be removed. Do you by any chance have a video on this? It seems to me that the only thing that is going to remain is the bottom part. I need to clean it since it is fully clogged and condensation is pilling up in front right below the filter. Pump is good and so is sensor. If I pour water in the back and in service mode, pump activates and pumps the water in the tank. Any video with removal/cleaning of the matrix along with what it takes(dismantling) to get there will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

    I have a Samsung dryer with a heat pump 9kg compressor, it takes 3 to 4 hours to dry if I put two towels after they come out of the washing machine, is this normal or is there a weakness in the dryer? The temperature of the internal drum is approximately 45 degrees Celsius, while the LG dryer reaches 90, how can I increase the drying efficiency and temperature by changing the capacitor?

    I did the work to clean the matrix on an AEG T96690IH. All good, but when I reassembled the dryer and tried to start it I get an E91 code. After a quick search, error is for a communication error between main board and display. There are only two connectors between the two boards and you cannot do it wrong. What I did see though is that the connector to the motor can go either way. This is the only thing I might have done wrong. Also the
    light in the drum area stays on. Any clues? Thanks

      Do you still have the machine? I am about to take it apart in order to clean the condenser/evaporator unit. I am confident there is so much buildup there that no water can pass through and exit out the back for it to be pumped.

    • @tamtakosxxx
      @tamtakosxxx Год назад

      Just finished taking apart the machine and at the end the case where the condenser/evaporator are housed in the bottom. Not a fast job. A good 2 hours work to get there. Opened it up and cleaned it thoroughly. You cannot imagine the built up inside the fins and the "mud" on the bottom. All clean now. Waiting for it to dry up so I can put it back together. It will function as good as new, and dry clothes faster too. Lets see. For the record, it is impossible to clean the unit if you do not take it apart. If you ask me, there is a pretty bad design there. Lint will build up eventually and it will clog up. If there was a side door you would be able to do the job without tearing the entire machine down.

      @randyrattan5171 Год назад

    • @martinfitzpatrick4703
      @martinfitzpatrick4703 7 месяцев назад

      There maybe an internal blockage between the front and back of the machine. On mine this was the case. I took the pump housing off to discover sludge which I sucked out with a silicone tube. To check if you pour water in the front at the small water filter area you should see the rear pump housing fill up.

    We have an AEG LAVATHERM 86590IH3 dryer. (Type TC12H6BHP). After normal operation we found lots of water under the dryer, on the floor!!!! When I opened the filter door, there were lots of water in that area. I have started investigating the pump area at the back of the machine. I have determined with a digital multimeter that the resistance of the pump was about 750 ohm. In one of the videos the repairman mentioned that according to the service manual it should be about 750 ohm. So at this moment I assume that the pump is OK....... Next I will try to check the float sensor/switch which turns on/off the pump. Am I on the right path? Has anyone ever experienced this problem before? (I have not put the machine into diagnostics mode, yet).

      I have similar problem. Pump is working and so is micro switch. In test mode i can empty the reservoir where the pump is pumping water from. But the water flow between the water filter in front and the reservoir in the back seems to be blocked so water flows too slow for the pump to be able to work effectively. I think the passages needs to be rinsed but am currently unsure how to proceed.

      I have the same problem, water isn't going from the heat pump area at the front to the pump area at the back. Pump system works fine, but there seems to be a blockage between the front and the pump assembly. Did you have any luck with finding a solution.

      @@jenskluwer-ulrich5875 I have the same problem. Water build up at the front of the machine, and not going to the back where the pump is. The pump works fine if I pour water into that area, but water doesn't get there. Not sure how to fix this problem.

    When I run the pump it doesn't completely empty the reservoir at the back. When the water gets to a bout 1cm depth the pump doesn't seem capable of pumping it up. Is this normal or do I need a new pump?
