Finding your problem with a heat pump tumble dryer can be difficult on occasions as these tumble dryers dry the clothes using Refrigeration process.
This video will show you how to enter test mode on Heat pump tumble dryer test mode Aeg, Electrolux, John lewis, Zanussi, tumble dryers.
On the website we have the list of Error codes as well as the service manual.
I have the AEG T7DBG832R which has an all touch screen display.
In this version I found (by trial and error) that you need to hold the "Start" and "Refresh" buttons and not the delay start.
The diagnostics come up but continue flashing through all the lights until you turn the control to one of the options.
The Electrolux is kind of dead.. no lint, no water collected, but tomorrow - it'd be party time! All fingers crossed and HUGE Thanks for the great video tutorials!
Very cool video, makes it easy to troubleshoot.... Should be in the manual this info.... Bought aeg 7000 series, we like it... Way better than the old system we're the hot air is vented to the outside....
Thank you for sharing this detailed video. It helped me a lot 🙏🙂

Is there a video for replacing a belt on a JL heat pump drier? The back panel is all moulded and glued so you can’t use the method of disconnecting the bearing like on your other videos
Hi I have aeg 8000 series lavatherm absolutecare system dryer. Start pause button flashes and it cannot start. What could be the error? I think the first time capacitor failure? What do you think? How can you run a diagnostic program on it?Thanks for the help.
To reset the error code press the same two buttons used to enter the diagnostic mode for 5 seconds while its showing the error code and that will clear it:)
Thanks a lot for this info mate much appreciated

I have almost the same JOhn Lewis dryer but it is 7kg and no window in door. I can't get it into diagnostic mode after many attempts. Am I missing a trick?
Hi. I found your video extremely useful indeed - so thank you. I've given you a big thumbs up. I ran the service cycle to test the condenser pump on C2 and it read "111". Is that normal? Basically water leaked through the condenser unit but tumble dryer seems to be functioning as it is at the moment. I don't get any error codes when the appliance is turned on and neither did I get any when the leak happened. I would be grateful if you would describe what to expect on C1 etc in terms of it being normal ie, for example one of the C's had the number 21 displaying.
Hello nice video.
During normal drying the dryer stops and I get E20. If I restart it, it works again for some time and then Iget E20 again.
I entered Test Mode and in C2 the pump works for 5 or 6 seconds and then I get E23 error.
I tried a different pump and the same happened in test mode and in normal drying operation also.
Could it be the printed circuit or some of its components or the float sensor next to the pump?
Hi. Don’t suppose there is any way I can change any settings. I want the reverse tumble to last longer
Hello!!I have the lavatherm AEG..the cooling fan its not working in the test mode..and the dryer stop the error code its e60 but in the 3 fist position of the test mode e63..i dont understand what is going.can i have your help?
My dryer doesn’t start, but does not show an error code. Got it into service mode like you showed. When I select C5, the display shows 017 and 016 and then ‘ESE’ after a couple of seconds. I imagine this has something to do with the drum is not spinning(?). Would you have any idea what the issue could be?

We have an AEG LAVATHERM 86590IH3 dryer. (Type TC12H6BHP). After normal operation we found lots of water under the dryer! When I opened the filter door, there were lots of water in that area. I have started investigating the pump area at the back of the machine. I have determined with a digital multimeter that the resistance of the pump was about 750 ohm. In one of the videos the repairman mentioned that according to the service manual it should be about 750 ohm. So at this moment I assume that the pump is OK....... Next I will try to check the float sensor/switch which turns on/off the pump. Am I on the right path? Has anyone ever experienced this problem before? (I have not put the machine into diagnostics mode, yet).
I have the same problem, lot of water under the dryer with normaly working pump. Did you solve it ? Thank you.
Could you tell how to test mode logic heat pump dryer please anybody

I have tried to test it in the test mode C4 but nothing happend.
So I decided to buy another fan and again the new fan does'nt work neither in the C4 testmode.

Hi, of course I will share :-) but what about my question about the front cooling fan ? Have you any idea ? Could it come from the electronic board ?

Hello
I have the AEG T865901H3 and the error code is EH0 !!! HELP!!!!
THANKS
Any replies re error EHO please? Have same problem.
I have Error E32. Do you have any ideas what can be a problem? The dryer stops drying itself after a few minutes?
You really want to contact us through the website with the full model number of your machine and then maybe I can find the diagnostic process for you
same problem here on Elecrolux...Did you manage to fix it?
The dryer stops after few minutes. ..in time mode it runs through, but not drying. The compressor is not engaged even thought diagnostics showed that is working. there is some water in the front side of the condensation unit (I assume this is as result of lack of heat due compressor not engaging) I disassemble the machine and clean everything, but same outcome after. When in diagnostic mode , C08 -E32 occurs)
You forgot to mention that one has to set the machine for the right topmost program, let the machine auto-power-off and then do the power+2button combination.
What do you mean?
I have exactly the same tumble dryer as the one in this video and I am getting an error code E60, any idea what this could be?
Hi, how combination button to clear error code ? AEG T8DEE852. Thanks
