I'm from NYC The Bronx and I've been outta prison since 2005 , I got older and tier of being locked in a cell !!! So in 2005 when I completed my parole , I decided that I wasn't going back to prison anymore and since being out of trouble meaning no more drugs or alcohol !!! So when I seen this video about a week ago , I seen this video and it made me cry for joy of happiness !!! To see all those Inmate's dancing made me think if only here in America it was done it would be so nice to see prisoners locked up doing something positive !!! Being that there isn't any types of things to do in prison , then all it does is it gives an inmate to think about hurting other's , doing drugs like I was !!! You know what ? Whenever my ex-wife would send me her hard ernd money so that I could go shopping at the commissary store , no instead I sometimes would do drugs in prison because I didn't wanna feel anything , I didn't wanna be locked up so my mind tried escaping from being in prison after 9 year's ! Anyway forget about me , those guy's who are really trying to change their lives I sincerely praise them and I wish it was done here in America !!! Thank you for sharing this ❤️🙏 lovely video !!! It's the greatest idea I've ever heard of and seeing it being done in real life is 💯👌 the best idea a Warden has ever come up with !!! Peace , love and much respect to all those young Men who participated in that video !!! Thank you God bless 🙏😇 you all !

As someone who has decided and is going into the field of Corrections to become a correctional officer, this documentary has to be my favorite. It's extremely heartwarming that these inmates were given a chance to redeem themselves and they actually improved and appreciated the help. This is an incredible idea because those inmates were given the opportunity to be human again. This is what will help the prison system. People like Byron Garcia who truly care about what they are doing and who they are helping. Anyway, the thriller part made me cry the first time I saw the video. The genuine joy and fun on their face. Thank you and keep dancing!

I think this is one smart warden. I wish prisons here in the US would try it. I love watching the dances and if it makes it safer, good on them

This should happen in all jails. Other people could learn a thing or two from this lovely warden...

Not all prisoners are criminals, some are wrongfully convicted.

Violence "Dropped to Zero" in a Prison? Man that is mindblowing to even imagine. IDK maybe they are so busy learning their dance moves that they don't have the time to plot and commit offences. It could be that they are brought together as a single unit in a common purpose that has spread a bond between them. I guess there could be many other reasons but for some guy to come in as warden with no experience, and change prisoners lives it just Amazing. I think it might be worthwhile for some of our experts to look at this system and see if there are ways we can change our own prison system.

I think this Warden is a incredible man. He had no experience in running a prison, never mind a prison with 70℅ deadly dangerous men. He was serious about wanting to make a change, from corrupt guards on down. Brilliant. Probably for the first time in these inmates lives they have been introduced to doing something positive, and get to experience what self worth feels like.

Prisons here in the US can learn from this. This is absolutely phenomenal. It's changing the way each of them view themselves. They're feeling a sense of self worth and accomplishment, aside from crime.
