      I disagree. I believe everyone deserves a chance to improve. Even people who have committed horrific crimes. I like the norway prison system, they give degrees in the prison, when a person gets out they are job ready. Thats what a real prison system should be, they spend 160,000$ per prisoner an year. And this is why they have the lowest crime rates in the world. Treat a man like a man, he acts like a man. Treat a man like an animal, you get an animal. Simple as.

    As a victim of a violent crime that has left me scarred for life, I think that if all prisons around the world were like this, most people would never consider harming others. Here in the USA, the most horrible criminals have more rights than their victims and their families. What a shame...I think this will only change when these criminals harm those who make excuses for them. I've seen so many wokes fighting for more rights for criminals, and then something bad happens to them and they change their thinking. Unless you are a victim of a vile demonic human being, you would never understand why victims like me want criminals to be punished to the full extent of the law.

One of Charles Manson's family members has been released from prison not too recently. A one Leslie Van Houton. This happened in California, A state that unfortunately allows this crap to happen.
      There are the victims rights movement, where victims of crimes have been recompensated, but no amount of compensation can make up for it
      I'm sorry to hear this happened to you. No innocent person deserves to be the victim of any crime.

      They've done cruel things. So cruel that I genuinely doubt many of us here could've even imagined such acts before watching this. The notion that they deserve to be punished is beyond reproach.
      However, you must *never* forget that they are, before anything else, human. They are a human being, just like you and me. Evil exists in this world and they fell to its temptation, that doesn't mean that anyone here is incapable of doing what _they_ have done if we were put in different circumstances. The minute we see some group of people as "sub-human", regardless of circumstance, is the minute we ourselves lose our humanity.

      @ora et labora lmfao yeah in a certain trimester it developed a brain (at least some what) but you can also Google that you can't get a fucking abortion if there is a heart beat unless you (the mother) is about to die because of said fetus. So yeah. And also, a fetus is not conscious. That would mean you are aware of what you are doing and why you are doing it. A fetus can not think for itself because it's not fully formed dude. When it's born and has seen light and experience real world, then your conscious.
      Would you say that someone that's brain dead is conscious? They got a brain and heart. Yet we pull the plug don't we. Everyone and everything dies dude. Has been that way since the dawn of time.

      @Eminem This isn't a Gulag. GULAG is an acronym for the forced labor camps created in the 1920s and 30s by the Jewish Bolsheviks who deceptively took over Russia in 1917 and slaughtered tens of millions of mostly Christian Russians over the next few decades. (Glavnoye Upravleniye LAGerey / Main Camp Administration. Originally SLON)
      Vladimir Ulyanov aka "Lenin" and Leiba Bronstein aka "Leon Trotsky" approved the idea of the forced labor camps to the ironically named All-Russian Central Executive Committee created by the Bolsheviks. The main administrators were Aron Solts, Yakov Rappoport, Lazar Kogan, Matvei Berman, Genrikh Yagoda, and Naftaly Frenkel.
      Yakov Yurovski, another Jew, was responsible for killing Czar Nicholas and the royal family.
      According to Israeli journalist Sever Plocker:
      "Here's a particularly forlorn historical date: Almost 90 years ago, between the 19th and 20th of December 1917, in the midst of the Bolshevik revolution and civil war, Lenin signed a decree calling for the establishment of The All-Russian Extraordinary Commission for Combating Counter-Revolution and Sabotage, also known as Cheka.
      Within a short period of time, Cheka became the largest and cruelest state security organization. Its organizational structure was changed every few years, as were its names: From Cheka to GPU, later to NKVD, and later to KGB.
      We cannot know with certainty the number of deaths Cheka was responsible for in its various manifestations, but the number is surely at least 20 million, including victims of the forced collectivization, the hunger, large purges, expulsions, banishments, executions, and mass death at Gulags.
      Whole population strata were eliminated: Independent farmers, ethnic minorities, members of the bourgeoisie, senior officers, intellectuals, artists, labor movement activists, "opposition members" who were defined completely randomly, and countless members of the Communist party itself.
      ...
      And us, the Jews? An Israeli student finishes high school without ever hearing the name "Genrikh Yagoda," the greatest Jewish murderer of the 20th Century, the GPU's deputy commander and the founder and commander of the NKVD. Yagoda diligently implemented Stalin's collectivization orders and is responsible for the deaths of at least 10 million people. His Jewish deputies established and managed the Gulag system. After Stalin no longer viewed him favorably, Yagoda was demoted and executed, and was replaced as chief hangman in 1936 by Yezhov, the "bloodthirsty dwarf."
      Yezhov was not Jewish but was blessed with an active Jewish wife. In his Book "Stalin: Court of the Red Star", Jewish historian Sebag Montefiore writes that during the darkest period of terror, when the Communist killing machine worked in full force, Stalin was surrounded by beautiful, young Jewish women.
      Stalin's close associates and loyalists included member of the Central Committee and Politburo Lazar Kaganovich. Montefiore characterizes him as the "first Stalinist" and adds that those starving to death in Ukraine, an unparalleled tragedy in the history of human kind...did not move Kaganovich.
      Many Jews sold their soul to the devil of the Communist revolution and have blood on their hands for eternity."
      According to Winston Churchill:
      "This movement among the Jews is not new. From the days of Spartacus-Weishaupt [Adam Weishaupt, founder of the Bavarian Illuminati] to those of Karl Marx, and down to Trotsky (Russia), Bela Kun (Hungary), Rosa Luxembourg (Germany), and Emma Goldman (United States), this world-wide conspiracy for the overthrow of civilisation and for the reconstitution of society on the basis of arrested development, of envious malevolence, and impossible equality, has been steadily growing. It played, as a modern writer, Mrs. [Nesta] Webster, has so ably shown, a definitely recognisable part in the tragedy of the French Revolution. It has been the mainspring of every subversive movement during the Nineteenth Century; and now at last this band of extraordinary personalities from the underworld of the great cities of Europe and America have gripped the Russian people by the hair of their heads and have become practically the undisputed masters of that enormous empire.
      There is no need to exaggerate the part played in the creation of Bolshevism and in the actual bringing about of the Russian Revolution by these international and for the most part atheistical Jews. It is certainly a very great one; it probably outweighs all others...The majority of the leading figures are Jews. Moreover, the principal inspiration and driving power comes from the Jewish leaders. Thus Tchitcherin, a pure Russian, is eclipsed by his nominal subordinate Litvinoff, and the influence of Russians like Bukharin or Lunacharski cannot be compared with the power of Trotsky, or of Zinovieff, the Dictator of the Red Citadel (Petrograd), or of Krassin or Radek - all Jews.
      In the Soviet institutions the predominance of Jews is even more astonishing. And the prominent, if not indeed the principal, part in the system of terrorism applied by the Extraordinary Commissions for Combating Counter-Revolution has been taken by Jews, and in some notable cases by Jewesses.
      The same evil prominence was obtained by Jews in the brief period of terror during which Bela Kun ruled in Hungary.
      The same phenomenon has been presented in Germany (especially in Bavaria), so far as this madness has been allowed to prey upon the temporary prostration of the German people." ('Zionism Versus Bolshevism: The Struggle For The Soul of the Jewish People')

    Respect for the self sacrifice of the staff to dedicate their lives guarding these lifetimers, which requires themselves to live in such harsh and remote climate.
    EDIT : some commented the guards can retire at 45 years of age. I wonder after how many years of service that is. Should you start when you are, say, 23yo? I still can't imagine wanting to spend my peak years in the ass-end of nowhere, in such weather. But that's coming from a city person.

How is that inhumane in any sense, in usa the prisoners would beat, rape, kill eachother in the jail and prison riots are not usual meanwhile in russia full peace and prisoners do work and follow the orders. And the fact that even the people who have done the worst crimes have the ability of parole in 25 years seals it all... Nothing inhumane

      IMO it's no different really from the prisons all over the Internet, apart from the prisoners running around screaming I want my own way, refusing to follow orders and trying at any given opportunity to maim or kill other prisoners or god forbid a prison officer. Russia is always ready to make a few Bob why not make an agreement for them to house a few of the excess prisoners everyone seems to have a problem with just send the long term prisoners over there, for a fee until the overcrowding has been sorted, then they can come back, obviously the Russians will sign an agreement to follow the human rights, of each and every one of them, just like the prisoners will sign an agreement to follow the codes and practices of the Russians penal code, seems like a win win to me you never know maybe the prisoners will actually come home and never cross the line again, a brilliant idea if I say so myself, at the least we could bring the Russian guards to prisons everywhere so our prison guards could learn the way they do things in their prison service, obviously they will have to be given carte blanche and total freedom from all types of prosecution if by chance they make any little mistakes see win win, or an alternative show our prisoners where they will go if they don't follow the rules over here it might deter one or two. Just a thought.

    • @Marshmallox43
      @Marshmallox43 3 месяца назад +10

      @@MH-en9qc it actually is inhumane by human rights standards. just because another place is "more inhumane" doesnt mean this place is off the hook. there are always 2 things to consider here: first, as it was said in the documentary you only got to see 2 prisoners and only common cells. you have not seen solitary cinfinement cells, you have not seen serial killers or mass murderers, we havent seen 3 out of 4 compartments and we only got access to the modernized one. so there is a lot of stuff you didnt see. second of all what seperate non-criminals from criminals is that you respect law, rules and rights. its one thing to debate over the morality of death penalties or parole. but its another to torture and abuse prisoners which has been reportetf in this very prison thousand of times. saying what someone deserves and what not is literally not yours to say. the only person who has the right, the qualification and the duty to decide what somebody deserves or not is the judge who gives him the sentence. any other comment about what someone deserves as a sentencing is unqualified, based on emotional opinions and wortless in general

    These inmates can't act crazy like they do in American prisons. They would probably be killed for the first or second time they did so. I didn't hear any yelling or banging like you hear in prisons in America.

    • @ilyanizhnik6874
      @ilyanizhnik6874 3 года назад +16

      well not really.
      -first of all its special people. they have LIFE sentence. just imagine how desperately they want to see freedom, at least on retirement.
      -second you could see some riots in normal prisons of Russia in really rare occasions, but the prison chiefs head will fall of if it happens, because media and stuff.
      -third they will definitely not kill prisoners. otherwise jailers could get their own sentences. but they press down riots with rubber batons if it happens. you could find a documentary about OMOH (OMON) - police group of special purpose. they even show old footage from 90's (the hell time for Russia) how they rush into cells with batons and beating shit out of "cool prison culture mafia" who do not want to obey prison rules.

      Not killed, suppressed with maximum and inhuman brutality but not killed. Actually this is enough - just look how obedient they are. According the law, prisoner can't be killed by guards - maybe only in case prisoner breaks to armory and will try to get firearm(as you can see, guards not carry firearms during service, but in case of emergency they have armory) but this is kind of fantastic scenario - in this case will arrives Federal Penitentiary Service special forces group with ballistic shields and assault rifles with live ammunition and kindly will ask to surrender. If prisoner will refuse to surrender - he will be killed. But, as I sey before, this is almost fantastic - armory is very securely guarded object

      It's because they treat the prisoners with some basic standards. They give them toilet privacy, smoking, access to basic services. What do you think happens when you take those away and a prisoner has nothing to lose? The only way the Americans control those types of prisoners are in places like Gitmo where they keep them on their knees with a bag over their head for decades.

    • @yesbutno9288
      @yesbutno9288 3 года назад +1

      They wouldn’t be killed. Because if they would be killed then they would do all of those things - since you heard the prisoner in the video say he’d rather die than stay in there.
