1 Hour Yin Yoga for the Kidney Meridian | Connect With Your Essence

- A yin yoga sequence for the kidney meridian, which includes relaxing forward bends, backbends and twists.
The kidney meridian pairs with the urinary bladder meridian, and when the energy of this pair is out of balance, it can manifest in a tendency to hold on to people and things, to fear change, and to have difficulty letting go. When this energy is more balanced, we can blossom with confidence and wisdom, and we’ll have a greater capacity for trust. The kidney meridian stores your essence energy, which is called your Jing energy - best described as a sense of being at home in yourself.

I feel exactly the same......finding your Yin classes has changed my life....my yoga body is 'home'......so much Gratitude.....thank you kindly, Lisa xx
How wonderful to hear this from you, Lisa! ❤️🙏😊
What a beautiful practice! Thank you!
Just what I needed! ❤❤I am coming home!
aah a real yin set, not like those thousands of yin videos full of yang extremities. it made me cry, made me laugh... thank you.
Wow, just wow ❤
Loved the practice S2
Love this ❤️
Lovely! Thanks devi
I had a little argue to let go so this came in time. The half frog on the left side was a bit to mutch on my pelvic floor so I changed to other variation. But loved it as always. Thx ❤😊❤.
I loved it! Thank you😍
thanks Devi. love this. actually much closer to yoooga original union, slow connection roots anyway :)
Loved it. Thanks Devi ✨💫
Actually, the kidney meridian starts on the sole of the foot. It’s Kidney 1, and called “Bubbling Spring”. Love the class. Thank you
Thanks for the clarification! The points on the hands & feet aren't really what we target in yin, so I admittedly am a bit foggy on those details! Thanks for practicing with me :)
I love the tracing of the meridians at the beginning 🔥
Glad you enjoyed it!
Thanks!
Thank you so much for the Super Thanks!
Thank you for sharing your expertise. Glad you found Yin yoga to show me the variations.
Hmmmm!! I love this Yin Yoga class!
It is exactly, what I need (as I have a kidney-theme). I love how you always invite to find the personal position (by also explaining, why it is so important to find it - me personally: my pelvic bones won't let me do the easy Childs Pose without pains, so I always have to put a pillow between my legs and belly. And it took me years of pain until I found a good teacher telling me that!).
THIS is how Yoga should be reached.
Thank you so much!!
Thanks for sharing this, Rea-Helena! It helps me so much to hear from yogis like you who are navigating skeletal differences that are not well understood. This is why I teach the way I teach!
Beautiful medicine! Thank you!!!🙏✨💕
Thank you so much. Yin is my favourite yoga too. I love to finish my daily practice with some yin and today being a Sunday I had an amazing 1.5 hours of yoga finishing with this. 🙏💜❤️. Amanda. Xxx
Glad you enjoyed this! ❤️
This practice was such a welcome blessing today Devi. Thank you - my body thanks you. Yin Yoga feels very much like coming home indeed! I really enjoyed the 3 options of half butterfly, half shoelace & half frog for a great comprehensive stretch of the target area. Much appreciated - with gratitude
Im so glad you enjoyed it, Brenda. Hope to see you at Tantra Tuesday again this week! 🌺
Thanks for explaining your story with Yin. I am so glad you found a home in yin!
Thanks Neutopia! ❤️
Hi Devi, this class felt soooo good after (willingly !) slaughtering my hamstrings with heavy weights this week ! I really appreciate the explanations you gave at the beginning of the class ; let's see if I'm visiting the bathroom more often today 😉
I'm hooked now : I do one of your yin class at least once a week 😉
Wonderful to hear this worked for your sore hammies! Thanks, Karine 🙏
My favourite practice of yours yet. I loved the personal reflections and anecdotes you provided as to how yin came to life for you - it touched something in me. Thank you for all your offerings to us all.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Absolutely looooove the yin and tcm philosophy bits! I had a bladder infection come on very fast and strong today so I turned to some yin love and am looking deeper with an open curiosity about what could be plugging up this channel of mine… thank you for a lovely class and inviting me to make it my own for how I’m feeling today.
I'm so glad to hear that this practice served your needs today, Stacey - thanks for the lovely note!
Thank you for this wonderful sequence. The freedom in the teaching is much appreciated. I'm coming home, too with these classes! Greetings from Bordeaux! ;-)
You are so welcome, Stephanie. Thanks for commenting! 💓

I’m glad you enjoyed it, Daniel - welcome to my channel ❤️
Amazing practice! 🙏🏻
Thanks Corina! ❤️
I did this class for the first time today, it's absolutely awesome! I do several of your videos and love them all, I very much like that you give so many variations and I don't have to do each pose exactly like an experienced yoga instructor. Thank you so much. I wish you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year 😊
Love this note, Bonnie - so glad you're enjoying the practices! Happy holidays to you ❤️
Such a great practice thank you so much! I didn't know there could also be a half frog pose which was much easier to do and relaxing too!
Glad to know you liked that, Zainab! Thanks for practicing with me. ❤️🙏
Thank you so much. That was very helpful. Like you I'm glad I discovered Yin yoga and it did feel like home.
Thanks, Martha, I’m so glad you enjoyed this!
Thankful ❤❤
@Bee Koon Tan ❤️
Thank you! Excellent. Well done. As always.
Very soft, kind and gentle. Highly recommended for #beginners #seniors
Kidney meridian to let go of things we clinging on or clinging on us.
Sincerely, N
Ah mementori, I like your comment about letting go of things we cling on - or that are clinging on “on us” - empowering!
@@DeviDalyYoga that’s what you kinda said. Credits to you and the people who figured these relationships.
I was just rephrasing (in a rush) and try to work a bit on the RUclips algorithm for you. I assume people don’t search for Yin or the kidney. They may search for their “problems” and the “magical solution”.
Quick question. Is it necessary to have the ankles in dorsiflexion in the dragonfly pose? I ask as I myself unable to relax into it if I have to dorsiflex. Its been suggested in the past that the legs must be kept active and to do so the ankle/feet must be in dorsiflexion. You just answered my question just as i restarted the video. Listen to what feels best for my body. Of course! Thank you
Hi Devy, thank you for this class. Would you say that this class REPLENISHES the Kidney energy or STIMULATES it?
I would say this practice BALANCES your energy, which would replenish or stimulate it depending on what your system needs.
