    People tend to change the hop up unit instead of trying new buckings and nubs and that's a expensive 'mistake'. This tests prove that very well. Well it's time for me to test the Mr buckings specially the 60 and 70º, ty for the upload.

      I’m new to airsoft what’s the difference between buckings and nubs and how can they improve performance?

    • @zatoxz1513
      @zatoxz1513 Год назад +4

      @@farawesomecat4719 with hopup unit you refer to the hopup chamber, the big housing at the start of your barrel. Then you have the hopup bucking/rubber, which is an little rubber piece that you put around the barrel at the start, then you have your hopup nub, which is an very tiny piece which your hopup chamber presses against the hopup bucking to push that piece of rubber slightly on the inside of the barrel. This gives the BB an little spin which increases its range. This spin can be given with an bad consistency with certain products which alters the accuracy, but the more consistent quality you can get on your BB spin, the tighter grouping you will get.
      What comment before said was right, in that the hopup chamber itself has not much to do with the effects of the hopup, it is simply an chamber which houses the nub and rubber that give the effect. What an hopup chamber can change however, is that like with some of the maxx hopup models you can see the BB's in the chamber due to an small piece of plexiglass, they create tracer units for the hopup with it instead of an tracer unit inside of an muzzle device (suppressor etc.). They also have an sort of locking system which prevents those pesky 3 BB's from falling out of your gun once you reload. But the best upgrade of the chamber it can bring is an more precise dialing of the hop.
      Anyways, the hopup chamber is more of an thing to upgrade because of some gimmicky thing or QoL. The barrel, bucking and nub are the things that are all about accuracy.

I only use a ZCI chamber and a green Mr. It shoots 350. Ootb you want a 70 because that thing was 1.7j or 430 fps on a sbr and thats a m100.

So I'm going to go through the seals on the gear box and make sure I get 99.999 percent seal. Then after that I'm going to be putting a new barrel bucking and hop up.
