    Nice painting. You managed to place all the values without any trouble. My challenge with roses are the background edges, where the the rose meets the background. Also could you please paint a white rose? White objects as well as a white rose is a challenging subject due to their surroundings. Thanks for this video. Blessings and take care.

      Hi Crisalida, thank you very much 😊 I know what you mean about the background edges.. I tend to make sharper edges where the contrast is greatest between the petals and the background but also soften some of the other edges around the petals so the flower 'merges' a bit with the background. I'll certainly keep that white rose in mind for a future tutorial 🙂
