    Hi! I watch this video again and was surprised that the first time I watched it I didn’t notice that you were 6‘3“ tall! A lot of our weight is below the waist. The longer the legs, the heavier they are. On other videos of people doing the human flag, they appear to be shorter in stature, thus having less weight to lift. Colin, this is an amazing accomplishment! Kudos to you! I really enjoy your videos, and the wonderfully kind spirit that goes along with them! Thank you for being so entertaining!

    • @colinmurrayYT

      Thank you so much. Yeah it makes it like 100 times harder especially for this one. I got it though! I’m glad you like the vids I hope to make more in the future.

  • @nightshade7092

    This is why I love calisthenics. It’s not about just increasing the amount of weight you can lift over the years, you unlock insanely cool skills like this and the journey towards unlocking them can be so humbling but rewarding. I wonder where I’ll be in 5-10 years with calisthenics, super exciting

    I started this process in a similar matter, after 4 weeks I can now hold the position for like 2-3 seconds. But man at 6’6 220 lbs it’s really tough to keep it going. I’m still going to work on trying to maintain the position for at least 5 seconds and hopefully get there by December. 😅
    Also love the content!

    • @colinmurrayYT

    • @aisosaobano7038
      @aisosaobano7038 10 месяцев назад

      @@galaxy9689I was actually able to do it, but only 3 times so far so not really consistent. Honestly I’m just happy to achieve 5 seconds even though I barely made it towards my goal. The hardest part is keeping that motivation going while not gaining weight which unfortunately I did halfway through the month. 😅
