    Nice fly. I have trouble with those wings too. But fortunately the fish never noticed. Practice makes better practice.

      Just take one sllip or feather and fold it over. Works all the time. The fish donlt care as we all know. :-)

      Thanks for the comment, yeah the wings aren’t easy for sure, but I agree, more practice does help. I’ll get there some day

    First of all id like to thank you for mention me in your video. You did a pretty good job on this Pattern. Please allow me to give you a usefull advise on getting allways the right width for the wing. Take a spare hook of the one you tie on and use it as a measurement tool. Lean the shank loosely to the underside of the fibers and stick the point through to separate the upper. So you allways get a wing sized the hook gap, wich Classic wet Flys ask for. Hope its understandable, due english is foreign for me…
    At least you motivated me to make a Video myself to this pattern and will upload it. Will be my first 😜

    A very famous and beautiful classic wet fly. Like most wet glies. it woks a treat in all kinds of waters. :-) Nice tying. :-)
