Anyone who actually drives at night with a lightbar will attest to how horrible it is to install one above the cab or on the hood. The only spot they belong is the front grill/bumper area, or the reflection of the light absolutely destroys your night vision when adventuring.
Dumb question, but is there anyway to overcome that? A friend of mine said he's going to get me a roll bar with some 6" KC lights for my 79 Dodge W150, single cab. I gotta admit, I do like the look on other trucks. I've heard someone say what you said here, but trying to do more research on it.
Finally!! A video that shows how to wire from the battery to the light bar!! Thank you!!!
You're welcome!
Glad you showed how to do the battery every other video I saw skips that part 👍👍👍
Josh, thnx for the cool explanation. Where did you actually connect the negatieve (red) cable?
I bought a VisionX XPR a few years ago. Really really nice light. Thx for sharing.
It really is!
I was looking fowaed to him installing the switch.
You can’t connect the negative wire to the battery? It has to be mounted on the frame?
Did you ever find this out??
Do you have a video on how you connect the brake light that is on the roll bar?
Nothing on that at this time, sorry!
Are rock lights legal to have them on while driving?
It depends on your local road laws. Some places are more strict than others.
Now how to do it on a suv
Should be about the same process!
@@HeadlightRevolution where to run the wire, there is no gap between the cab and the bed

Why we state this is for off road use only, like on trails or the frozen lake like in the video.
