Great video as per usual Nick! Might pay to do an edit to let everyone know why you changed back to the silicone intercooler pipes (i.e. warranty issues). First thing I noticed as I only just put mine in last week! ...unless you're getting $1 for every time someone notices 😝
Great to see you putting out more content, thanks for the vid super informative and we hope to see more 4wd exploring from you we always enjoy watching your adventures. Cheers.
Great to have you back! As always, enjoyed the vid and the way you explain and demonstrate things. P.S. thanks for the discount code on the HikeIt, just installed one in my MUX and it’s unreal 👌
Hi Nick, first of all I would like to thank you for the very informative videos you have made, you have save my ass, second I can’t find the clip how you changed the automatic transmission oil, I need to drop the oil on a 2018 d max, thanks mate.
Hey mate, 1stly thanks for all your awesome videos a lot of them have been really helpful! In regards to this light bar you've sourced, was it imported from overseas and if so what was the freight cost of you remember?
Hey mate. You have been very helpful. Question, I’m struggling to locate the headlight plug on my Isuzu to plug in my King wiring harness. What should I look for and what does the headlight plug look like? Cheers
It is a grey plug down on the headlight that has multiple wires going into it. If you are looking for a plug and play harness you will need to get one specifically for the isuzu.
Great video mate, what battery are you using? Also can you do a vid on why you changed the hard intercooler pipes due to warranty issues cheers. Just did my first trans service with your other video too. Keep up the great content!
@@LowRangeNick what's the long black bar the assembly goes on. Is it a luggage rack or a single bar. Trying to mount light bar on a 1989 jeep cherokee (without drilling holes) trying to locate a bar I can mount to existing luggage rack rails. Then mount the light bar on to that.
Hey mate how come you didn’t wire it into the existing harness? I imagine it would be possible to just use a Deutsche splitter or something so it’s controlled by the same switch on the dash etc? Cheers
@@LowRangeNick Ok cool I will try to wire it into the existing harness. On Stedi's website it says as a general rule, if your light comes with a harness, it needs to be on its own... so I wasn't sure if I should attempt it. Lightforce for example offers Deutsche Y splitters so you can run heaps more Striker lights off the same harness.
@@LowRangeNick OK gotcha. I was gonna try and just wire the lightbar into the same harness as the two strikers as a "third light" so to speak. But makes sense now. Lightbar on its own harness but then use the same switch on the dash. Cheers legend.
Your videos are great, enjoy watching them to get ideas. Did you find a switch to fit in the centre console as the ones for the right hand side of the dash are smaller. If you found some, where did you get them from as Im hoping to find some USB ports to fit in to the centre console switch spaces.
This will be the third time I try to leave a comment here ... RUclips may not like links so I’ll try without. Try ‘ETRONX’. They appear to have various OEM type USB/C charge ports and switches. Great video as always Nick. I installed a pair of Lazer ST-4 on my D-Max which have the same switch as your Auxleds. Did some improvisation and drilled a hole in one of the dummy ports in front of the gear. Looks OEM.
Hey M J, I may make one in the future but due to it being a rather complex job and really needs to be done correctly. I would highly recommend getting a workshop to carry out this job.
I would've fed the wiring through the snorkel. Small hole in the rear of the snorkel head and down into the air box exiting through another small hole. Just a thought.
I knew you were putting a switch in but you said something about your driving lights should come on with your high beams cause it’s annoying to find a switch..not a direct quote…and that’s what drew my comment. Don’t want people out there thinking they’re spotties or light bars should come on with high beams. Not having a go. I used your video on putting diff breathers in my MUX.
Not bad w/ the how to video amigo, but wiring up the windshield looks like “proper crap” (if that’s how ya say it in Stralia 🇦🇺) personally I’d be worried about h2O & other elements entering the clip but maybe it’s because I’m in Seattle & we deal in aquatics. Lastly u might consider filming in the garage if possible in future, the shadows & that weird stuff I don’t see often I think it’s called the sun make a wee bit tough to see what’s going on. Just a dumb Merican’s 2 cents. Cheers & thx, u did clear up a couple ?’s I had.

How good are those Ryobi solder irons! I used the same thing when I installed the light bar on the roof of my MUX.
They are really good! Perfect for soldering thinner wires. They're also very well priced :)

can you please explain, how i can connect my LED light bar to high beam!😢
Isn’t it illegal to wire them to your high beam directly hence the switch
Correct.

its only illegal if there isnt a switch between the highbeam switch and light bar so you can switch it off but still use highbeam
that must be blinding!
Does it interfere withe the radio?
No it doesn't 👍

So now i need to get a snorkel to hide the wiring? . Didn't I once see a set of stainless intercooler pipes?
