In combat sports, and especially those of striking nature (such as boxing, kickboxing, and MMA), the stakes to your well-being are probably higher than any other sport.
You may hear some figures preaching that fighting is ‘’just a sport’’, but it is just not that simple. Fighting is beyond sport; it is beyond competition-it is hand-to-hand combat. It’s not just like a game of chess; it is a violent game of chess with physical consequences on top of it.
Make the wrong move with your pawn, and you may break your nose. Make the wrong move with your knight, and you may wake up to blinking lights.
A loss here does not only affect your ego, but more importantly, it can affect your physical well-being-both in the short-term and the long-term.
Therefore, preparation is of extreme importance in fighting. Nothing can be left for chance-all affectable parameters must be worked on.
Every fighter that has ever stepped into a ring has made peace with the fact that something may go wrong, and he or she has in all likelihood contemplated on how to best mitigate the chance of this occurring; they want to be prepared in every possible way-consciously or unconsciously (survival is a biological principle).
And one of those coping mechanisms is to construct a persona; similar to the facade of a building, or like a mask worn by a theatrical performer.
But why you may ask? Why would you deliberately want to hide who you are fundamentally? And how does a persona prepare you for a fight? This will be the topic of this video.

Stuff like cardio or anything moderate exercise can give you confidents, But also the biggest thing is going out in public more often and interacting with people (Ordering food) or friends if you have any...If you sit alone inside all day everyday you will lose your social skills@@edvinparmeza1298

@@edvinparmeza1298 i recently started brazilian jiujitsu and i have the same problem. first time is really hard and so are the 3 next ones. you dont know anyone there and you suck at the sport, but most people are really nice and after a few trainings you feel like a part of the team. you just have to toss yourself into the fire, especially with jiujitsu bc of the weird physical contact that you will feel.

"If everyone acted as they desired, it would lead to anarchy and absolute chaos". This is a statement. Is it a guess from a gut feeling or is it the result of organised inquiry? You see, there are so many variables that are unexamined here. For instance, the way our collective behaviour has been conditioned, is so that we are good for the "system" obviously, but that doesn't mean we couldn't be collectively conditioned to allow for anarchy to work, after all, the people themselves are the power of representative government aren't we?! Most conservatives want small government, anarchists want no external government at all, yet the internal governance of honour and justice must be within each of us. Vast numbers of people who prefer lies and deceit backed by cowardly violence is why we can't have a community of honour and culture. They are the psychological decedents of Cain if you will. As usual the few, destroy everything for the many. That's this world apparently. However, I refuse to participate in Babylon and the sacrifice to Moloch by wishing well to ALL without exception or discrimination. There is no category for that in Babylon. When you don't want to contribute to injustice and suffering, Babylon will not contribute to you! Then you are called "poor" and you own family despises you. Because mentally ill people can't look after themselves, they are categorised as "poor" , just like people who are so lazy that they don't look after themselves which is mental illness again. So, because the healthcare system refuses to deal with mental illness in an appropriately humane way, we create a small group of homeless, mentally ill people loitering on the streets. Once this group is established, they can throw anybody into the same group simply for disagreeing with your boss or having the wrong opinion! Once we learn to blame the victim, the perpetrator remains invisible! Don't support the system that will destroy you for being truthful.

You can never do too much running. Just pace yourself. Go at an intensity that feels comfortable, and remember that running is mostly mental. Embrace the suck and push your limits, but don't forget to allow your body recovery.

Depends if you're amateur or pro. For amateurs, you still run, but focus more on sprints. You only have 3 rounds to make a statement & judges will judge on intesity & work rate if punches landed are even. So you wanna be able to do 3 x 600 to 700m spints in under 3mins with 1 min rest between each sprints if roundd are 3min. If 2min rounds, then 4 x 500m in under 2mins with 1min rest.
Pros endurance is much more important as can be anywhere from 6 to 12 x 3min rounds so put in that roadwork to build your endurance.
