Something that I learned that’s changed my perspective is that anxiety and excitement have the same chemical reactions. You just have to be able to determine if your anxious or excited

I have the same problem. I just have to accept it. It’s not my choice to be afraid but it is my choice to push through it and go forward anyways. It hurts and can get very dark but I have no choice in the matter. I find that having a chip on my shoulder helps, everytime I have a fearful thought now I think of it the same way as someone telling you “you can’t accomplish this”, and I just wanna prove them wrong, or prove myself wrong, I suppose

You know how I beat most of my fear years ago, the way I did it by watching Mike Tyson film when I was like 9 or 10 years old
In that movie his coach said you turn fear into anger, and you use it in the fight.
I use anger as focus. Anger is just a tool. It should not consume you.
I also don't mean you go hurt real people, because then you will see a real fear in prison, when dudes be trying to take your cheeks on the daily
But what I mean you need to remember that fear is a normal emotion, and you either allow it to rule you like anger, or you channel it into strength
Mike Tyson's coach was genius for teaching Mike this years ago, then torch was passed to me.
Most of us are not fighters, but you have to be in peace with who you are, and then just allow yourself to be yourself, and fear can turn into something else.

This video really makes you realize that nobody is perfect. I have been dealing with depression and anxiety and fear of death for over a year and a half now and I want to be a professional fighter but I always thought that I couldn’t be great because of my anxiety, but now I realized that even the greatest fighter of all time which I want to be like who to me was this fearful and powerful human being but really behind all that he is a human who have nightmares and anxiety Just like me. So my advice to whoever read this and to me is that nothing can stop you from doing what you want. We all have problems but it’s you that decide if it’s gonna make you stronger or weaker.

There is A lot of what he said to be just verbally powerful. He has A way of developing his fighting style, IQ, and emotions more differently than the common fighter like it's spiritual. To be the best you probably have to have both and he knows it.
