Nice review thank you. I have only seen one in person. The a-pillar trim on the driver's side top was 1/8" proud of one corner. The passenger side fit perfectly. I will check the door alignments. These are the first batch cars I hope they will perfect the alignments of the trim / doors moving forward. I absolutely love the car. The trim variances are minor and I only notice because I am ocd but also the car is so refined that the slightest imperfection shows. Someone got one in my building and at first I assumed it was one of the last 2022 L405s as I got closer I lost my breath when I realized it was the L460. I am so happy someone has one in my garage so I can see it daily. Comparison curb weight stats: L322 NA v8 5,666lbs, L405 depending on engine 4,762-5,203lbs, L460 inline 6 petrol mhev 5,240lbs, phev 5,940lbs, petrol v8 5,530lbs. The torsional rigidity is the strongest ever at 33.5k. The L322 is a bank vault at 32K, Defender L663, 29k.
I edited to correct a mistake I made earlier. Most versions of the L460 are still lighter than the L322. The phev will be heavier. I had been comparing gross weight stats instead of curb weight, my apologies.
I love the exterior design of this new generation RR, but those door handles that pop out when you are near the car seem to be something that will get very irritating in daily use especially if you are outside and near the car, but have no intention to open the door.

I know car prices have shot up recently and the Range Rover was always great value for money vs its competitors but at this price the quality control issues are inexcusable, never mind the reliability we’re yet to review
The V8 now is a BMW N63 so I guess it’ll be another reason for people to perpetuate old stereotypes when these won’t be maintained properly. N63s need an oil change every 6-10k km and need a 90 degree thermostat installed right away, most people won’t do this so it won’t help range rover

I would go for the D350. It wouldn't be a lot slower by any means and the fuel economy + big torque of 700nm would suit it even better. Dream suv, would like to own one so much. I can tell just by this video that the interior is going to feel 50x better than in my e-class...
E class at least has some interior options. A 3 series has 20 interiors and countless trims. Not all in the configuartor of course, but it’s a car starting around 30k euro

JLR always seem to have issues with panel alignment. I saw multiple XE's, XF's, Evoques and Defenders with these issues although the XE was probably the worst
So this car is like £120,000 right? Maybe a little less. I am so curious as to how much these cars will cost in 15/20 years . Technology is moving so fast, particularly in the automotive industry, but I just can't imagine a car as good and luxurious as this being so cheap one day....
Probably a lot. This is the last generation of ICE. Technically the best of the best in tech in the last cars with a ICE, these will sell for a lot of value probably.
