Hi - hope Pearl is feeling okay after her trip to the dentist. Please tell her hi for us. You really have gotten a great deal of equipment to make your boondocking a success out in the overland areas. Have a great time enjoying this type of camping! We are in Albuquerque for a few weeks then on to visit family. Safe travels!! 😊💕

Hi Janice and Larry, hope you are doing well in Albuquerque. I bet the weather is much cooler than in Yuma. but Pearl goes in for her final visit Friday then we should get to hook up and head North and find some 60 or 70 degree temps. Hope you have a great summer

Good seeing you, Bob! Rosie and I left the LTVA where we had lived off grid for a little past four months. We took our sweet time getting back to Wi. with stops in New Mexico, Texas, Oklahoma, and Missouri. I'm always interested in learning more about solar. Travel safe and maybe see you on down the road. Burlington Bill busking across the US and on you tube..

Four months, it sounds like you have your solar down pat with that Brinkley 5th wheel. Hope you have a great summer

@@JustPassingThru Yes, the solar is great. I put a second 370 watt panel on the roof and a 3000 watt inverter wired to most of the plug-ins I also have a portable solar suitcase I can point towards the sun if needed.. Brinkley gives great support and walks you through it all. Best company we have ever dealt with!

Hi Bob and Pearl. Sounds like a good solar panel for the price. Don't over heat in that Yuma sun. LOL

So , how are you liking overlanding? I'll be watching for the next video. Red cloud falls is where we were taking you guys to but ran out of time.

Hey Ron, Im loving the overlanding, Pearl is Liking it just not as much as I do 🙂. We did not realize we were on the same trail as you took us on until we hit the restrooms. It had looked familiar but with all the mud holes gone it did not seem like the same trail. Once we figured that out, then it became apparent that Red Cloud Falls is the same one you talked about. Im starting to understand the advantages of 35" tires and maybe a 2 or 3" lift. LOL
Are you and Ricki still thinking about joining the Alaska Group in 2025, sure wish you two were still here in Yuma as we would love to do a couple more trip with ya and learn from you two a little bit more about how to get through some of these trails. We end up turning around when we probably could pick our way through but don't have the experience or confidence but it sure is fun learning and haven't broken anything yet.

Hi Steve, it is definitely time to head to the mountains, Yuma is getting pretty thinned out as well as we see the RVs pulling out daily and we aren't far behind 🙂

You guys might want to try a BiFacial solar panel which produces energy on the face and the back face as well. One panel will producwe under optimum conditions 440 wats. If you place them where something light coloured is under the panel it will increase your production.

Hi Pam, that sounds very interesting, I will probably do a little googling and check them out. Thanks for the info

That’s why you have a large Rv packing and unpacking sucks

You make a very valid point although, we are sort of wanting to visit some of the more remote locations that it is difficult to get the RV into. It is just all part of the adventure but the packing and unpacking definitely sucks.
