Short advertisement promoting the 1985 Melbourne Cup at Flemington Racecourse which was the following day November 5. The 1985 Melbourne Cup was the first to be sponsored - by Fosters. As a result it was also the first to offer one million dollars in prize money, with $650,000 going to the winner - which was What A Nuisance.
