if anyone wondering. for mk4 4m41 engine (3.2 diesel). the original solution from the web is to use 3.6k resistor but that was quickly rectified that in warmer countries a 4.7k should be used. get the 1W ones with 1% (not the tiny ones which are 0.1W). for 50pcs you shouldnt pay more than £6. it is basically untraceable if you will put isolation tape around it. a good check is to read the egr measurements through ODB2 reader (a cheap bt adapter is more than enough) before and after application
Thanks for walking us through. I've done EGR delete but I'm hearing comments that in the long term it'll damage some parts of the engine's internals. Have you encountered any of those side effects personally with EGR deletes?
Thanx for gr8 video, the other day I place that resistor on my pajero NS 3.2 147kW. So far car run smoothly but i notice engine became one idea noisy and keep little bit higher idle RPMs could it be from that resistor?
Ive read the Munji ones allow the blow off valve to funtion while allowing the EGR to remain closed on the way in. Is that the case of the resistor ones also? Additionally, would there be any issues if you took this in for a service and a mechanic spotted the fact that youve disabled your EGR
Hello possibly going off subject here i have a 2007 pajero diamond gen 4 lwb 3.2 have started getting p0106 p0108 codes i have tried everything new map sensor new vac hoses inlet cleaned last year no blockages anywer egr delete dpf delete.. have ordered a new scv and new turbo solenoid have exhausted everything would you think of anything missed or overseen? Ecl light on and eml going to limp mode constantly any help greatly appreciated 🙏👍

Legend, simple and clear.

Epic thanks. Subscribed for sure. Keep the knowledge flowing. Cheers mate 🤙🏼🤙🏼
Nice one. Any chance of a delete pipe + temp sensors tutorial for the NS (for off-road of course)? Those DPFs can start a fire in the bush.
lol indeed they can, will put it on our list.
Will this cause the check engine light to come on?

Hi good vid , do you know the wire colour on a 3.5 GDI model , thanks in adt
Will it not cause the EML light to come on...
Nice video thanks
Thanks for the great info yet again. I live in Far North Queensland, do you reckon that temp sensor will be right?

Do i have to blank egr? With plaque
where would i put a blank on my ML Triton 3.2 ?? I do have a blank with a 7mm hole in it ready to install
a blank plate with a hole in it is like catching water with a tennis racket, completely pointless. fit the resister and that is all you need to do.
Does this work for gen 3, non common rails?
Gracias!!
can u show us how to do dpf delete on ns pajero thank
What is the resistor???
Hardly understand…
Hi buddy just wondering where your workshop is located,
Does it need to be a 0.5w resistor or does 0.25w work as well? :)
Will this work for a Magna?
Great works .. is there any affect/disadvantage on engine performance and fuel consumption ?
ive had it done for 350000 not a issue manifold clean as runs fine
What wire would I fit the resistor to if I don't have a blue/black?
Same here 3.5 GDI colour
I try but then 7000km, i think the liter pro mile is increase...
This is for a 4M41 engine?
Yes mate
Is it very different for a 3.8L petrol Pajero (6G75)?
Shouldn’t need to for a petrol engine - this happens due to the sooty nature of diesel
@@hollandx2 No. Petrol engines have the same problem. Unless it has VVT, then it would have no EGR valve.
i did that now i get an engine light that i cant remove
Hi mr pajero.
How does this effect your fuel consumption?
I did it and it threw EGR fault code
God punished you.
