"The shield that guards the realms of men."
I always meant to do a video about this character. The best voice in Westeros, he went out like who he was - a hero.
I hope you'll enjoy this video.
    Thank you !

SCP-049 yeah it was dumb. I think it’s cause they didn’t know what to do with his character, he was already dead in the books. His purpose was to bring Catelyn back to life so she could become Lady Stoneheart. They didn’t bother with that storyline in the show so they had to find a reason for the lord of life to keep bring him back so they thought up the stupid reason with Arya.

“"Can I dwell on what I scarce remember? I held a castle on the Marches once, and there was a woman I was pledged to marry, but I could not find that castle today, nor tell you the color of that woman's hair. Who knighted me, old friend? What were my favorite foods? It all fades. Sometimes I think I was born on the bloody grass in that grove of ash, with the taste of fire in my mouth and a hole in my chest. Are you my mother, Thoros?” - Beric to Thoros.

@TheGaroStudios Your video on Thoros surprised me, since he was never a main character. And then i watched it, and it remains one of my favourites. Now you've done it again with Beric. Such amazing characters, and so sad to see them gone. But I'm glad they've gotten a tribute from you. That shot of Beric blocking the corridor was absolutely amazing, and a highlight of the episode for me.

Only way I can get something out of this is through Patreon. Please, even if it's 1$ (which I would very much prefer, as 1$ is basically nothing), it would help me out a lot. I can't Garo.... i just can't. I try to watch your videos regularly as it possible, but this one ? the word EPIC is a hell weak word. There is no Word or Sentence, which can describe this. Watching this was like watching a trailer about his own movie. I am really glad, that editors started to foccusing on side characters finaly. So much underrated actors, characters in the show we dont see much. And this one ? oh man. Masterpiece really. It was lovely and enjoyable to see all background sounds you used, weak tones of beats and the perfect placement of quotes which creates great storytelling. I cannot even say much about it, because i liked this character, so this this is like fighting with emotions and words. All i can say is, you should be proud on your work, what you are creating and i can say, good luck in next projects, because this time i will catch every vid is possible in my freetime. Hats off Ser Garo of House Editors

    • @_Woody_

Don't know if you have read the books, so spoiler ahead:
In the original Song of Ice and Fire canon, there exists no such purpose for him to sace Arya. So he died a long time ago.
He gave his life to revive Catelyn Stark, they found her body on a river bank. Beric perished and she took over the Brotherhood. But with Beric gone, justice was aswell. Their whole driving force is hatred and revenge now.
A real sad end to this fiery Robin Hood, since in the books, we saw so many instances where the Brotherhood defended the smallfolk.
Therefor has this slight beacon of light and hope in this war torn land been exstinguished aswell, sadly

Best Game of Thrones character. I know his purpose ended up being to keep Arya alive so she could kill the Night King, which I thought was stupid, and I wanted him to have a greater purpose than that, but god damn, what a cool character. A man who doesn’t think of himself as special but realizes that he must be in someway because he’s been brought back from death six times. And what a performance by Richard Dormer. Also he’s basically a Jedi with that flaming sword. I mean, come on.
