You wanted a suggestion, here's mine. All I wanted to know was the title of this video, "Use 2 Cameras in OBS Easy!" You went way down the rabbit hole going into a bunch of stuff I didn't need. Maybe cut your videos in parts. Start with covering the subject of the tutorial first without all the other stuff, then part 2 you can talk about sizing, color, flipping images etc. Thanks

Yes. You can create multiple ones and set each scene with a different transition.

I try to use 2 Logitech Brios in OBS. I plug one into a TP-Link 3.0 hub. This hub is plugged into the USB 3.0 port on my laptop. That 1st Brio is fine.
When I plug in the 2nd Brio into the TP-Link hub, OBS works fine as well with both Logitech Brio inputs.
Then when I use Zoom, enter a meeting and use the OBS Virtual Camera as my video source, that's where the problem happens. Everything will be stable and proper for 5-10 minutes before OBS seems to crash and only one Brio seems to stay active when I open OBS again.

Only suggestion I'd say is to either leave the content of nested scenes the full size of the scene when the content is the correct aspect ratio and when it isn't the nested scenes can be cropped where they're used. This makes all the snapping and scaling behave better.

Is this true even if you're going to crop the content to the same size in all different scenes it is used?
@@frida507 That's the cropping I mentioned. For my chat widget I have it in the corner of the scene I'll be nesting and then in the scenes I use it in I crop it to the size of the widget so it'll snap to edges and other sources nicer. That's also because I like to live on a grid and have everything line up nicely.

If you do I would suggest getting a plug in called obs transition matrix it’s really useful to have different transitions repenting on starting and ending scenes .

Generally cameras connect through usb. There isn’t much too it. Either it’s a usb webcam or a mirror less camera with a cam card connection like a elgato cam link.
I love your videos! Thank you for doing them. I do often use multiple cameras and sometimes when I add one, it doesn't show up. Instead I just get a little red dot in the upper lefthand corner. I have to remove it and add it several times before it finally shows up for some reason. I tend to use pretty cheap webcams...is that the problem? I'm on a Mac using the latest version of OBS. My partner has a PC and also has the same problem, but also uses cheap webcams. I keep thinking maybe it is a bug in OBS that will get fixed but with each new version, I keep getting the same problem. Have you experienced that before? Thanks again!
I also have cheap webcams and I’ve never seen this issue on my pc. But it is not a laptop it is a proper desktop with a graphics card and multiple usb busses to deal with the usb bandwidth. I’m guessing usb bandwidth could be the issue but it’s could be the webcam is well.

Can you use 2 c920 cams at the same time?
I’ll have to use more nested scenes. Currently I’m running 3 cameras. One main cam, one green screen cam, and my lava lamp cam.
You can do as many as the computer can handle.
@@MichaelFeyrerJr I’m using the Elgato Cam Link Pro with 3 DSLR’s. Two hooked to the card with HDMI and the third is hooked up with the Canon web cam app using usb. That camera would shut off using HDMI after 30 mins. Even when it was set to never turn off.
Ok this is great but how do i get my computer to reconize more than 1 camera. I cant seem to get both to work at teh same time
What version do you use? Can I run this on my android phone with 2 cameras recordings simultaneously? I do not see your version on on Play Store..
How would you do a multi cam scene using dslrs like a canon m50? I have 2 but one of them shuts off every 30 mins and needs to have the photo button pressed to re-activate it.
That is the camera. Google search if there is a way to keep it from auto turning off. If not sell it and get a camera that doesn’t do that.
Maybe EOS utility 3 & elgato camlink might solve the issue

can we setup camera 1 on different floor as another input of camera in OBS? as I understand no HDMI Wire/Wireless for long distance. and if we use Zoom Web Conference as the solution, the quality also not good. How to solve this kind of situation?
I added 2 1080p cameras to OBS, it freezes either 1 or both cameras after a few minutes, I have to unplug/plug to reestablish the video. I have an i7 16gb ram gtx1660 , I would think it should handle it. Any ideas?

Hi I tried to use a 2 cameras with the same model(Logitech Stream Camera) problem is OBS can only read 1 - is there a way to solve this problem or settings that I need to set up
I have Canon M50 and am about to buy one more Canon M50. Do you know by any chance if I can connect both using the “webcam utility software” or do I need something else to connect the second one to OBS / Prism?

I just tried to connect my C920 and StreamCam into one scene and the C920 took over (StreamCam went dark). Hopefully this will help me.
