I can't seem to get this to show up on my OBS app. I installed it just like you did in the video. The file appears under OBS in program files, the uninstaller shows up in the start menu, but OBS says nope. Any help?

I have been trying to figure out how I can stream my video game with my facecam, but in my recording only record the gameplay. I don’t want to record the facecam at all. Is there any videos that you have that could help?

Seriously, if you just organize your scenes and sources properly you only need to add anything once and can use it in every scene. Using a plug-in to do this is wasting cpu/gpu power. Plus complicating things for you every time OBS updates.
Also using a structured scene and source system to do this type of task means you can more easily port what you are doing to other broadcasting software, and will allow things like StreamDeck, and LeoranBoard to control them for you remotely without interrupting your live stream.
Sorry, but this is not the way things should be done in OBS, or any broadcasting package IMO.

the only thing I would love to see with this plugin is a timer option for things like Lower Thirds. Hotkeys are cool but cant always stop what I'm doing to click on things.
you can use streamer bot to control these and set it on a timer
I was wondering if you can help me with PlayStation remote play with obs. I get the vertical black bars and have no clue how to get rid of this.

You know, around 5:09, you said that you 'DON'T HAVE A TUTORIAL GOING ON RIGHT NOW' when you are actually recording a tutorial on this plug-in. LOL, I know you probably meant that you weren't streaming one or something along those lines, but it's just semantics, and I thought it was funny.
2022 and we have to download a ton of plug ins to do a decent looking stream 🤦♂️
You certainly don’t have to. You can do a great stream with none. But they do make some things easier.

You are my #1 resource for OBS and I’ll never unsubscribe but wondering if there is any other broadcaster who shares OBS stuff like you do but for Mac? I know the vast majority of OBS peeps use a PC cuz on Mac it’s just not as good- but that’s why I’m looking for experts on Mac who can help me optimize- and answer questions like what versions run on the new Mac OS for example. Anyway. Thanks for all your work!

Unfortunately there still seems to be no fix to use this plugin with OBS and any live conferencing software like ZOOM, whereby etc. :(
Why install something when a properly built set of nested scenes does that and more? Most professional broadcast studios use a single source and then incorporate that into everything else (hence nested). So naming your scenes : SOURCE, COMPOSITE, LIVE, etc and you are good to go and in mere clicks you can build an entire new scene or setup in seconds.
I followed the instructions, tried installing this multiple times, and it will not show up in my dock list. Do I need an older version with ver. 27, since apparently 28 isn't good or something yet?

Just add a media file and loop it. Or you can use a music app by adding it as a source.

Awesome feature thank you again. There is one issue I have noticed to this Downstream Keyer, there is a bug that conflicts with Soundboard Dock. When a second tab is used in Downstream Keyer it will stop the Soundboard working, ie. Soundboard will ONLY work when 1 Tab is utilised in Downstream Keyer, probably a conflict in the coding.
Same coder too so that’s odd. Lol
Downstreamkeyer uses output channel 7 and up by default and Soundboard is fixed to channel 8.
You can change the default start channel of downstreamkeyer in the json of the scene collection if you search for downstream_keyers_channel, it should be 7 by default, when used with soundboard set it to 9 or higher.
Will this work for stream labs
Plugins don’t work on streamlabs.

Looks like it broke in obs v28. It works when directly streamer but doesn't work using virtual camera. It shows in program window but not the live feed.

Hi. Your tutorial would be seamless if you flip your own camera feed left to right. Currently you are looking away from the action. This way the viewer would follow where you are looking at. Either that or put your monitor to the right of camera. ;-)

There used to be a show called "TV Total" here in Germany, where the hose Stefan Raab had a sliding desk with a bunch of buttons on it.
In a funny situation, he pressed one of those buttons and a short videoclip was triggered. He basically used memes befoere they were a thing.
So now, instead of having to include every clip into to every scene, you can just use this and include them once.
Also great for changing them!

DSK features are long overdue, I've had to cheat it on more than one occasion using copies of scenes with duplicated assets animated with custom transitions and even pre-animated RGBA videos which is a mighty pain to prepare and totally inflexible.
What would make this DSK plugin a lot better was if you could preview before taking, if you could apply a scene transition just to the DSK element (pretty fundamental for animating name thirds or graphics) and if you were able to click the item again to take it out, instead of having to mouse down to the tiny DSK pause button. I know it's probably a limitation of the OBS plugin API but I hope the author finds a better way of implementing this. Perhaps a custom keybind might be a good interim solution, or a button by the scene transition controls in Studio mode.
