'I've never done this in the history of my RUclips Channel' (MSG Aug11, 2021) - recommends a club that you hide from your friends but actually works. This really shows that specialty clubs, like different tools used in construction, is definitely the way to approach building your bag - 7-woods, 9-woods, 5/6/7 hybrids, mini-drivers, bigger grips, 10-finger grip to get your right hand better on the club - etc. are all good if they work.

30 yard shots and in works great. If u have to hit a shot over a green side bunker works great. And it works great out of the bunker as well. Thanks again MSG for all u do for us. Have a fabulous Wednesday

Thanks for the video. I had one of these for a long time and took it out of my bag. Well it's back in my bag 😅 . Not a gimmick and it really works. Great when you are in high grass too.

Not sure if you’ve tried the Lazrus Premium Anti Duff Sand Wedge off of Amazon yet, or not. It’s cheaper and comes in either 58 or 65 degree. I got the 65 degree version. It’s about 2/3 the cost of this one you’re talking about and it is absolutely amazing. I have gotten out of the bunker every single time with it. It’s great for up to 20 yds, too.
I have the 58⁰ and it's a great club. The milled face creates perfect spin
I bought one last year and it helped so much in thicker grass and rough. I actually bought my GF one and she loves her's as well ..2 👍 up

Great video. I have a C3i sandy wedge I got as a gift. Works great out of the bunkers. Also, I was wondering if you did a video on your home simulator set up. I am planning on converting one of my rooms in a golf simulator area.

Isn’t this an Alien wedge with a new groove face? I have the original Alien wedge and too embarrassed to put it in the bag for the course but it’s fun to hit in the backyard to rip balls into the lake - haha

The alien blaster
It looks like my Alien Wedge which is 60 degrees which has holes rather than grooves, like the old clubs.
Is the club legal?

Not sure why the heck they would make that thing in 52 degree loft. A 56 or a 60 would at least make more sense and, if you play a course with really course/deep sand and/or a course with brutal Bermuda rough, then I can see using something like this. If your course has firm bunkers, however, it is a no-go.
I don't know man... I understand it works, but I don't think I can put another ugly club into my bag. Already using a LAB Direct Force putter.

My alien wedge saved my round a lot of times combined with my all hybrid irons equals 6hdcp Why make it hard .

Does having older irons MATTER? Rather then me playing with some irons that came out this year.
It is great to learn from older clubs, some of them are still better than todays average clubs. Once you are striping the ball and funds are available, you can go get fitted for the perfect set for you. Until then, make the best of what you have available. Good luck and God bless you.
I had two different sets of newer irons neither of which I ended up liking very much, lots of new tech in both. I had given Goodwill my old irons, cavity back blades from the mid 90's probably older. I ended up going on ebay, found and purchased a set identical to my old irons for the heads, bought stock regular flex 65 gram Taylor Made shafts and Golf Pride Tour Wrap grips from Amazon and had Golf USA build them. All together cost $280. By far the best irons I've ever had.

I think they just raised the price.
It’s somewhat “gimmicky” but if you need all the help you can get, go for it.
Me personally, I’m awful out of the sand but that’s the definitely the area I NEVER practice. I carry 13 in the bag, if I could have one club that’s guaranteed to get me out of the sand and only be used in the sand, I’d take it. But I’d prefer it in a 56 or 60.
And I’m damn sure not paying 60 bucks for it.
Checked online at Amazon Canada and the club cost over $200 dollars. Definitely not worth the money
