    My wife of 20 years is Chinese. She has a PRC passport and I have a US passport. The only place we can both go without a visa is Thailand. Greetings from Nanning!

    In my experience, id never date a Chinese girl again, no discriminating, but their expectations do not meet reality.

    at 10:00 what does "you can't really retire in China" mean?

    • @viewpointabroad
      @viewpointabroad  Месяц назад +3

      It means there no retirement visa here. If you wanna stay here/ retire here the only option is marry a local. Other wise you need to work to have a visa to live here.

      @@viewpointabroad I know an American guy who came to Shanghai to teach English. Interesting video and perspective. I'm planning on moving to China in February to teach English & have begun reaching out to recruiters/agents. Do you have any agents that you recommend? I have a Wechat account and heard that there are many groups that post esl jobs. Thank you for the insightful videos.

      Chinese girls are 100% not realistic lmao, you gotta have a nice car, a big ass house for the whole family and make superb bank at your high paying job, lmao 😂 yeah right, on my teacher salary, 😂 I lived there for 7 years and I must only attracted superficial women, never once I’ve encountered realism or practicality unless they were westernized in some ways

    • @CDTsuiPo
      @CDTsuiPo Месяц назад +1

      @aleksabroad This is where cultural differences come into play.What the Chinese consider pragmatic and realistic is based on the material, what can be seen and touched, as distinct from the spiritual.What westerners or western culture think is that what I can achieve is realistic and subjective, so westerners will think, I love you, but can't provide you with more material support, you can accept, is to accept the reality.Traditional Chinese culture emphasizes realism, but does not lack the spiritual core of romanticism.the "shallow" girl you meet is not likely to be a traditional Chinese woman.Traditional Chinese women are introverted and won't have much contact with you if they don't really like you.
