The pelicans can be serious championship contenders in 2 years. Ingram already an all star at 22, I can see him being at least on the level of player like Paul George or better. Zion can be one of the best in the league, and lonzo at the point, he’s never going to average 25 a game but I can see lonzo being an all star with averages like 16/18ppg, 10 assist and 7/8 rebounds. Along with players like Josh Hart, Favors, Hayes, and maybe even JJ Reddick altogether can be a great team.
Emperor Dubu Hearns was coming up from a lighter weight division to challenge Hagler who was in his backyard as a natural middleweight. Not spectacular as the clear favorite prevailed.
The only reason I wouldn't have that on my list is because it only lasted 2 rounds. That said, the first round was the single greatest round in boxing history.

Gatti-Ward 1 is the greatest non-title action fight ever... Corrales-Castillo 1 is the greatest and most dramatic title fight ever... Louis-Schmeling 2 is the most historic fight ever... Ali-Frazier 1 is probably the greatest combination of all those things...
Ali vs Frazier the trilogy. 1 Ali gets dropped in a legendary fight, 2 Ali wins, 3 Ali solidified himself as the greatest of the era, also this is the first time 2 undefeated heavyweight champs fight.
Between that and Barrera Morales trilogy it's a tough pick. Those fights were grueling and changed those careers. I think Morales deserves credit for stretching his career beyond those brutal bouts

What other boxing fights have you seen is comparable to this? Yes the thrilla in manila but not as action pack as this. There was a lot of hugging and holding from Ali. That slows down the action of every round that Ali hugs or stayed at the rope to rest. Was that can be considered action or was he being active in every round. Barrera morales 1 was my pick. That was the most back and forth fight I ever seen. N a straight slugfest the entire time. I miss HBO boxing for that reason, stars were made in those fights

Man these guys make me wanna watch boxing. When I was a kid we could watch it on regular tv. Now unless I pay for cable or pay preview I don’t get to watch them. Same with blazer games unless I have Comcast sports net or tnt or ESPN I don’t get watch a single game. Greed hurting us fans.

Barrera morales 1 was my pick. That was the most back and forth fight I ever seen. N a straight slugfest the entire time. I miss HBO boxing for that reason, stars were made in those fights

Love Teddy Atlas. How he brought up names such as Joe Louis (rightfully so) of matches that are BIGGER than boxing. A fight that temporary stopped racism for 15 rds. The entire world was watching & at that time Louis was fighting for so much more (equality etc). Than obviously, the iconic rds & matches such as Ali-Frazier/Foreman. So many to choose from. Hearns/Hagler for pure fighting ACTION!
