      Crunches are not even done in the military anymore, as no one recommends them. Some gym instructors haven't caught on over the past 12 or more years: crunches are not safe and not needed. There are so many better exercises.

    Omg this workout was amazing. I recently started doing really hard core abs exercises which are obv good but my form was really bad which gave me serious neck pains. But as soon as i did this for the first time i knew this was for me. I specifically love the 'freeing yoga touch to your videos' while also feeling the burn. Thankyou so much for this video.

    All the exercises were incredibly powerful! 🔥 My core was shaking and I'm so happy that I didn't had to engage my neck, it's hard to me not to feel tension in my neck and shoulders while working with my abdominal muscles 😭

    I came at this video as someone who was doing zero abs of any sort. The first few times I did it, I thought it was going to kill me. I was grunting and groaning like a weightlifter. But 4 months in, following along about 2-3x/week, I can do the whole thing smoothly and confidently, zero gruntage, feeling strong and tall by the end. It's still hard, but it feels so good!       Happy to help! Do this exercise often to help build your core strength without any neck pain. The stronger your core becomes, the less tension you'll take in your neck and eventually you'll be able to do "crunch" exercises with ease! xoxo

    Love this as an addition to a workout! I would love to see what kind of workout you would do for lower back pain. I try to stretch my hamstrings as much as I can but I still feel discomfort after most workouts. Thank you 😊

    Coming back to this one! Really one of my favorites! I'm struggling a bit with my ab and core strength as it got very weakened after i got sick. Still feeling it a bit in the hips flexors so I struggled a bit with this too! I'll keep doing this one!

    I'm not going to lie this was hard I needed to take a break towards the end but I told myself if I didn't finish strong I would regret it so I paused took a few breathes until I was ready and finished and I feel so amazing, time for a shower!

    Glad i found this. I have strained my neck and had pain a few times from doing certain ab workouts while I'm sick.. I know I shouldn't workout when I'm really sick but I have chronic sinusitis and pretty bad allergies so I get sick a lot and I hate to keep losing progress. When I'm kinda sick my muscles aren't are as strong so my neck ends up doing too much work. I just started working out about 5 months ago and my abs have gotten a lot stronger plus my form has improved, but it's not worth the risk of injury.

    That was SOOO much better than Pamela Reif's 10 min abs! I loved the stretches between the exercises and the zero neck strain! More folks should be doing this one, especially with all the cell phone/laptop/computer neck injuries we're accumulating as a collective.

      Make sure when you're doing your half roll backs that you really scoop the belly button in and up and tuck the tail under. It's possible you are not "rounding" enough...that could put strain on your back too. Just keep that in mind to be safe! Thank you so much for your love and support! xoxo

    FINALLY an ab workout that works for me! I had scoliosis surgery so I can't bend my back at all (crunches are a no-no for me), this was perfect and killed my abs in the best way! Excited to see my progress!

    Ngl I did have to pause at the end but I think I'm getting better at this today I was wondering why my neck hurt so bad from my last night workout so I'm switching to your workout now and I live how you include stretches xx

    i love the ballerina moves very elegant my lower back and left shoulder were a bit uncomfotrable in moments maybe over compensating

      Practice makes progress! 🥰💖💪🏼 When doing your “half roll back” exercises you really have to engage your core by scooping your belly and tucking that tailbone under. And of course keep your neck & shoulders relaxed - no tension, no gripping.

    Absolutely love this! I’m a Yōgi who has relied more on my hyper mobility than core strength for most of my yoga career, but I also have bad neck issues and none of the PTs I’ve gone to have any idea how to help build my core without using the neck - these exercises are phenomenal! Thank you xx

    this video should be more popular!! ive been following other ab workouts for years (those that get over 10s of millions of views) but have always felt that they hurt my neck so much that I'm not able to focus on training my abs properly. this video gave me a good burn on my abs, but it is a sustainable burn and now I will doing this more in order to build up my core :) if you could do like a 30-day programme to help progressively build a strong core , that would be awesome ~ just a suggestion

    I had C 5-7 fused and have another herniated disc above that. Normal Ab workouts are hard on my neck and I end up adapting the exercise so I don't hurt afterwards. I found this ab workout better for my neck and I was able to do all the positions without neck pain. Thanks! I'll be checking out your other workouts too!

    Thank you for this!! I really messed up my neck a few years ago doing ab workout. I thought I was doing everything correctly but me being a weakling, anything can hurt me lol. Finally I found an effective workout with out hurting my beck!
