I don’t like when they tell us something is out either. There is a rebellious streak in me where hearing that makes me want to wear it even more, and so I do.
re: impulse shopping; I heard someone refer to it as having an abundance mindset rather than a scarcity mindset. Kinda like manifesting, you can reframe it to think about how you like lots of cool things and you will find more cool things so that if this piece doesn't check all your boxes, it's okay, because there will always be more and better ones just around the corner
You are so right: neutrals are NOT boring, I feel the same as you!!!

Hey jordy, I think your natural hair color looks fabulous on you. And, the rules are there are no rules!! I'm right there with you and trying to be more intentional with what I buy and what I spend time doing this year. Going to try and Shop in my own accessories and use more of what I already have that's just sitting there . Also, still purging my closet and will continue to do so until I have a core group of things I just adore. I love dressing for the Venus sign. I think that's awesome

I loved your list, thanks for sharing! One of my "Ins" for 2024 is to pre-plan outfits so I don't get so stressed out in the morning if I'm in a rush to get ready. I get frustrated when the outfit is not working out, but I have to leave lol 😅 Maybe I need to start doing a folder of outfit pictures in my phone to reference. Also I'm going to try and be more intentional about my thrifting too.
Love your videos! In for me in 2024: color blocking, dainty shoes, colors that suit my skin tone
I love this! I think one of my ins is challenging myself to make pieces that Im tempted to buy, especially if those pieces have very simple constructions that I could replicate. For example, I love prints and colors and often want to buy clothes in funky colorways/patterns, but I could just as easily buy some funky fabric and make it myself and it'd be cheaper. One of my outs is feeling so guilty for spending money on clothes. I do need to have a budget but I want to feel like it's okay for me to treat myself sometimes :)
I love adding to cart. Lol. It also helps me as inspo when I am at the thrift store to see if I can find items similar to. I probably haven’t bought retail in 5 years now!

Dressing for your Venus sign seems so fun except that mine is Leo... I simply cannot deal with the suggestions for Leo lol. Gemini inspo looks really fun though! Would love to see you put together some looks for that.

I love your content so much, sorry I don't comment more. I agree so much about feeling sensitive towards lists of fashion "rules", but it's cool if you look at it through the lense of being rebellious! The best fashion always breaks the mold. Let's keep having fun!
