Chris, I just received the decants in the mail today, I haven’t gone through all of them yet.going through them now, the one I just smelled is Lys Noir, I’ve never experienced high quality fragrances like this before, it smells wonderful, so good, I got emotional, I won’t lie 😂♥️♥️♥️ thank you , so so much you’re so sweet. I can’t wait to get my husband to smell these. Our 15 yr anniversary is in March.. maybe I’ll get one of these , thank you again, you really lifted my spirits when I needed it the most 🥰♥️

Hi Chris! Pulled the trigger on YSL Caftan because of your recommendation and it was LOVE at first sniff…like my eyes rolled in the back of mg head roll! I think it is the perfect scent for the cold season, it absolutely blows my addictive mind, I adore it !!!! Mine aren’t as interesting as these but my budget is smaller. 😄 I just received the lancome LVEB intense after seeing it on a couple of RUclipsrs channels, I thought I’d get it while it’s still available because it’s been discontinued I believe. I really like it. Most of the time, when someone says a fragrance is too strong or sweet for them, I know I’ll love it. As we get older, our smell dulls a little bit , so I typically love powerhouse fragrances, as long as it doesn’t smell masculine, im all about them. I love all of these scent genre’s, sounds like the smells of Christmas to me ♥️🎄🥰

I heard you mention you are always looking for a scent that smells like walking through a forest . Manos Gerakinis ( only sold at Perfumology in the US )Sillage Royal . A very chic take on conifer notes . All of his scents are wonderful , and are available in 10 ml travel sizes . Rose Poetique , gorgeous . It's an oud based fragrance but absolutely rich, warm and alluring. That same house also have a summertime fruity/minty coctail offering called Tales from zanzibar. Look up the notes. Smells exactly how it sounds hahaha. Also XO Brandy became my new Black Phantom👌🏿👌🏿👌🏿👌🏿😍

Oh I don’t think there is a def age connection to perfumes it more about taste. I will say, at 20, I wouldn’t have been into Bewitching Yasmine. It’s got more “grown up” notes like Oud and incense. My daughter, who just turned 18 yesterday hated BR 540 for years. But now it’s all she wants to wear (she borrows mine). So as a special bday present we got her a bottle. Our tastes def change with age . I used to hate patchouli! And of course I love it now. 🤣

So my official motto is “sunscreen and sample!” IOW…..even though I blind buy a lot I hate to recommend that to others because I know ppl furious if they spend 20$ on a fragrance and they don’t like it. I hate to admit it, but I haven't worn a fragrance in years. My workplace frowns upon it. However, I've worked there for 11 years, so as long as it isn't overpowering, they'll overlook it. 😉 I just bought Rose Extase, but now want to buy something darker, sexier. Growing up, I loved Opium. Of course, Coco has been a lifelong favorite.

Hi Claire! They are not super close. BV is powdery with suede. Gris Dior is fresher….more crisp, noticeable rose and patchouli. My guess…you would like BV better but you just hauled some beauties little lady so you are set! 😉❤️

I think it is the perfect scent for the cold season, it absolutely blows my addictive mind, I adore it !!!! Mine aren’t as interesting as these but my budget is smaller. 😄 I just received the lancome LVEB intense after seeing it on a couple of RUclipsrs channels, I thought I’d get it while it’s still available because it’s been discontinued I believe. I really like it. Most of the time, when someone says a fragrance is too strong or sweet for them, I know I’ll love it. As we get older, our smell dulls a little bit , so I typically love powerhouse fragrances, as long as it doesn’t smell masculine, im all about them. I love all of these scent genre’s, sounds like the smells of Christmas to me ♥️🎄🥰

I heard you mention you are always looking for a scent that smells like walking through a forest . Manos Gerakinis ( only sold at Perfumology in the US )Sillage Royal . A very chic take on conifer notes . All of his scents are wonderful , and are available in 10 ml travel sizes . Rose Poetique , gorgeous . Perfumology has their own line too if you do not know of it .

It's an oud based fragrance but absolutely rich, warm and alluring. That same house also have a summertime fruity/minty coctail offering called Tales from zanzibar. Look up the notes. Smells exactly how it sounds hahaha. Also XO Brandy became my new Black Phantom👌🏿👌🏿👌🏿👌🏿😍

Oh I don’t think there is a def age connection to perfumes it more about taste. I will say, at 20, I wouldn’t have been into Bewitching Yasmine. It’s got more “grown up” notes like Oud and incense. My daughter, who just turned 18 yesterday hated BR 540 for years. But now it’s all she wants to wear (she borrows mine). So as a special bday present we got her a bottle. Our tastes def change with age . I used to hate patchouli! And of course I love it now. 🤣
What would you recommend as a blind buy if one tends to like oriental notes? Nothing too overpowering for work, but that lasts most of the day?

I hate to admit it, but I haven't worn a fragrance in years. My workplace frowns upon it. However, I've worked there for 11 years, so as long as it isn't overpowering, they'll overlook it. 😉 I just bought Rose Extase, but now want to buy something darker, sexier. Growing up, I loved Opium. Of course, Coco has been a lifelong favorite.

Hi Claire! They are not super close. BV is powdery with suede. Gris Dior is fresher….more crisp, noticeable rose and patchouli. My guess…you would like BV better but you just hauled some beauties little lady so you are set! 😉❤️
