Still working on improving on the drums. This rock midi groove pack from GetGood Drums gives me two perks. 1 helps me write songs and 2 gives me a lot more groove ideas for songs that I wouldn't have thought of and gives me something to practice, to improve on my groove playing.

Absolutely killing the game bro! Keep it up!
Thank you soo freakin much, man.
BUT LIKEWISE! you are as well!! proud of you, brother!
I'm a guitarist but it'd be so cool to be able to be able to play this. Would be way more fun than midi drumming on my midi keyboard
Bro, I was literally in the same boat as you. I couldn't afford to get a kit when i was younger, so my parents got me a guitar..
Once i learned about songwriting and stuff, i was able to "write drums" and program drums.
Once i finally got a drum pad and sticks.. it was a WHOLE new world.. and i feel like my drum programming got a lot more "realistic"
I would recommend ANYONE to get a drum pad and sticks to understand the concepts of drumming.
Let me know if you decide to do it, man.
Ill give you some tips that helped me!
Also, keyboard drums too!! haha i have a video about that as well!
Thanks so much for checking out the video and leaving a comment, man!
Subscribed!
Do a video showing how you do your mixes bro.. sounds really amazing 🤜🏻🤛🏻
you are amazing, man!! thanks so much!
I plan on finishing the series on this session!
i left some stuff out when i recorded it, so i need to re record it.
which i totally plan on doing!
Hey, love the groove you laid down here. Wondering if anything was in the works for a walkthrough of your kit? Having troubles trying to set up my TD-20 ergonomically in a similar layout, I find it really tough to get everything set up, so any tips or pictures you have are appreciated.
Same man, TD-12 but I’m up against so many little problems I end up pulling my hair out. Hi-hats a no-go, snare does a weird double trigger hit every hit and the whole thing is just full of cracks and pops it’s completely inaudible.
Hey my friend, apologies for the delay!
So unfortunately i dont have any real close photos of the ekit i was using.
However i didnt really spend a ton of time trying to find the best positioning.
Most of it was trying to nail down my technique, and if something didnt feel right, then i would adjust accordingly, for example my drum throne. was always experimenting with it higher and lower.
hope that helps, man!
can I ask you something? Does it recognize the roland cymbals choke? I know GGD can assign a prerecorded choke to any trigger, but I want to know if it recognizes when you choke it by hand. Keep it playing man!!
Hey man, apologies for the delay.
it looks like our good buddy @BecauseDrumGeek has a fix for it!

Any plans on some drums cover with a bit heavyer music? Something like some metalcore or djent even, or is it not your kind of music at all?
(Anyway, as always your sounds and playing are killer, always a plseasure to see you use GGD with and E kit!
Also, for an e kit purpose, do you prefer Invasion or PIV, and is this only sound related or is there other consideration that would make you favor one or the other?)
Mr Str thanks a ton for your support, seriously!! To answer your question about covering heavier music. I’m in the process of trying to get my drum skills up to par to be able to play heavier types of music. Working a lot in my double kick pedal, and limb independents. In terms of which kit I prefer, I only love the new PIV kit, because of how dynamic it feels compared to invasion. It seems like with each GGD pack release, they get better and better. Also, is seems like they have more samples or something, because the level of sample dynamics is super noticeable! Let me know if that answers your question! Thanks again! ❤️🙏🏼🤜🏼💥🤛🏼
@@chrisbedan thanks for the answer! Can't wait to see the progress! Also, this is what i wa ted to know about the library, thanks! I thinks i will buy it just for that lower snare ahah (and it will also give me more cymbals to try, to vary the sound etc...)
This is actually really cool that we can blend all ggd kits, to creat the perfect monster kit with all 4 library
I'm very haply with Invasion for now, bit i'll surely buy all the others later, just to have more possibilities and to have a ton of kits to jam on!
Thanks for doing these videos!
ingenious track! Please leave it without vocals so we can enjoy the sound of the instruments and the musical arrangement :)
Hahah heck yeah! thanks for that!
I definitely plan on just making this an instrumental jam!
Need to finish it tho!!! XDD
Much respect, my friend!
An open handed metal player? What is this? The end of the pland3mic?
ahahahah I see what you did there!! Love it!
Thanks for stopping by!
