This is my first video speaking english here, so please, be kind ;)
My name is Matt Carrilho and I play drums for a living. Due to the coronavirus outbreak I can only study in my electronic kit, so I'm constantly researching how to improve the sound of it.

AndJusticeForEl sure, you just need to install Kontakt 6 first, it works fine with any DAW

Você conseguiu configurar o crash choke? Não consegui fazer aqui. =( parece que ele não entende o sinal midi do choke da minha td17kvx
Mano, uma dúvida que eu tenho é se rola de fazer Cymbal Choke usando as libs da GGD. To pra comprar o GGD pra usar com a minha bateria eletrônica e to em duvida se rola ou não. Muito massa o review mano! Curto muito seu trampo e deu som ❤️ sick playing dude!

Mas tu conseguiu resolver essa porra de choke? Não acho em lugar nenhum uma maneira de mapear adequadamente meu ekit..

@@MattCarrilho Pô então, eu consegui configurar o hi hat e tal, mas quando coloco pra mapear batendo no pad, só vai o prato mas o choke não funciona. Já tentei de tudo. Na minha cabeça identificando o pad ele já habilitava tudo. Com a caixa é o mesmo problema, o aro e a pele não conversam direito. O rim fica na própria pele e quando toco pra rolar o rim shot o aro anula o som da pele. E tudo ou um ou outro. E eu tenho uma roland tbm. A parada é q eu uso uma scarllet 6i6 como interface midi, e não acho que isso seja a causa do problema, pq uso o addictive drums e outro plugin da GGD (o do Matt) demo, mas rola de boa.
Mó textão, foi mal haha Mas é que foi uma prata e to meio frustrado.

I heard that people have had problems with the hihat using an e-kit. Did you have any problems mapping the hihat to work perfectly?
It’s hard to get a perfect response, but for me it works quite well
@@MattCarrilho Okey did you need to download any fix or did you just map it trough the "Mappings" page?
how about the latency?
ALVI for me that was an issue just when I first start using my vdrums with plugins, but if you adjust the buffer size of your pc and daw, there’s almost no problem. This library is running smoothly!

A friend of mine has the TD17-KVX drum kit, but we have problem mapping the hihat CC, it seems buggy. I suppose your kit is pretty similar. Could you share your mapping to us ? This will help !

For infos, I get an answer of GGD support team and they confirmed to me there is an issue with current version of One Kit Wonder Modern Fusion with HiHat CC, they sent me two files to replace, before making an official release.
@@MattCarrilho Hi Matt, I enjoyed your video a lot :) also I have the same issue described in the comment, could you please share how you configured you Hi-hat on GGD or a pic of the map? Thanks a lot !

@@SamiK1989 they did send me a patch to manually fix, it date from august 2020 and despite my numerous pings about making it official release on native access they still didnt. Please spam them if you have the same issue cause a bug fixed since one year still no puqhed official is just not tolerable.

Wanna get an e-kit it just looks so much easier with recordings. The acoustic is way too much work. I don't even wanna record anything as I don't have much free time everyday. I have GGD mordern& massive but have never tried it with an e-kit.

Luiz Felipe Pereira fala man! Eu já senti isso também. O plugin não responde taaaao bem quanto o módulo, mas soa mil vezes melhor. Agora vai de plugin pra plugin. O ggd tem uma resposta mil vezes melhor do que o ez drummer pra mim, mas aí mesmo tempo é bom você ver se é o seu pc que tá meio lento pra processar, ou ir nas configurações do buffer e tentar deixar o mínimo de atraso possível. Então pode ser tanto o plugin, ou o processamento ou uma soma dos dois.
