    AWESOME videos! I just got MegaloviewerHD and started playing with it. Would you be able to post some of the custom fields that you created?

    I just watched goat rope garage videos on hptuners and now your video makes a lot more sense to me. This is exactly what I want to learn well and your video really helps! I use tunerpro and pcmhammer to remove vats but the logging and histograms is next for me. Thanks for your work! I can't believe more folks don't look at this and try it this way versus hptuners.

      Glad it helped. I have another video on creating a historgram for calibrating the mass air flow sensor. I haven’t done a video on the VE table corrections yet. Also if you are familiar with Universal Patcher using the newest version you can create live historgrams as you drive so you can monitor all the cells you have hit. I made a quick video on that as well.

      @@brandongarnold Thanks Brandon! Yup I have all the programs installed now. I haven't pulled the trigger on Megalogviwer yet and maybe with the new version of Universal patcher it sounds like I may not need too..? I'm not against buying it though if it helps. I have the bench setup and have removed vats and looked at a lot of the other fields too. I just got the 5.3/4l60e in my '85 c10. All stock minus short headers. Runs great but I haven't been able to take it on the road yet due to weather here in MI. But I look forward to looking and tweaking a whole bunch. I like the mechanical part of the whole install, but the tuning is what I really look forward to and why I did the swap in the first place. Plus who doesn't like fuel injection type start ups versus a carb!

      Either way would work. I used megalogviewer because it seamed easier to do custom math. Some custom math has to be done in the logger in universal patcher to be able to log cylinder air mass for the timing table historgram as well. Plus at the time universal patcher didn’t have the live histrogram capability.

      @@brandongarnoldI still can’t figure out how to do the custom fields on UP to make afr err %. I’m sure it can be done but it’s more in depth than I can do. I just bought mega log viewer to finish tuning my truck. Thanks for the videos man

    open 2 windows and minimize to show both windows on your screen...Then you can transfer values to tables instead of taking a picture.
    Hope that helps..

    How did you get the parameters to show up?

    • @brandongarnold
      @brandongarnold 9 месяцев назад

      I use the PCM Logger with PCM Hammer and data log the parameters needed. Then open the log file in Megalogviewer HD.

    Can u show how to fix checksum after a vats delete and or vin change.

    • @brandongarnold
      @brandongarnold Год назад

      Just to change the VIN you would be better off using either PCM hammer or LSDroid instead. Also if you are having trouble disabling VATs just open your bin in Universal Patcher and search for VTD which is the vats setting and disable it. No need for an XDF if you are using Universal Patcher. I have a small video on it already.

    Brandon very helpful Video explain how it work. Just bought tunerpro RT and Megalogview HD last week, so far I’m still a noob. Do you mind tell me how I can find adx file or creat adx file by myself. I’m work on Audi Q5 8r 2013 Med17.1.

    • @brandongarnold
      @brandongarnold Год назад

      I don’t know much about adx files at all. This process here was geared towards GM Gen 3 V8 engines. There is no good adx files for the GEN 3 engines so that’s why I use this.

    Brandon I'm trying to edit an .adx file for tuner pro based on your steps after 13:00 but i dont think tuner pro edx allows for the formula you show. Any thoughts ?

      I’m really not sure the capability of TunerPro. I’ve played with a couple adx files but they didn’t seem to have all the PIDs needed to do much.

      @@ralphyc81 I just posted a video of a quick rundown on creating historgrams with universal patcher though there is no was to create user math for the histograms but there is possibly a way to create user math with the logger so it logs cylinder airmass using the maf and rpm PIDs.
