@g cartmi it’s never “pot metal” it is zamak5, which can endure a lot of stress, also this “reinforcing” thing does not apply to most blank guns, it literally only works for röhm guns because they have pockets milled into the slide, also full steel slides are also weakened because governments aren’t stupid, they’re weakened in name places and not just the breech, but even when you get a full steel blank gun then the barrel will be horrendously fucked to where you literally need a milling machine to create the new barrel and not just put a steel barrel inside
Blank guns in Germany also have a tungsten insert in the bore, so it won't be possible to drill it out without ruining the drill AND bore.

Same in the UK. Trying to convert a blank gun just ends up getting you charged with firearms offences, 6+ years in prison. Not worth it. Just apply for a gun license and enjoy a semi-auto rifle.
.380 or .22s you can do it. If the pak gun you're using has a steel barrel you can just drill out the barrel. If it's zink you can make a steel barrel or barrel insert .22s or .380. I did it with a Reck Commander 8mm pak. I used .22s

It's actually so easy to convert them I got some instructions on how to do it online years ago, the best ones are the .22 revolvers blank guns can literally do it in your garage with a digital pillar drill and some good vernier calipers , if your gonna do stupid shit like drilling them make sure you test it in a vice and use string to make sure it ain't gonna blow up in your hand
There are actual firearms like chiappa that are made of pretty much the same materials as blank guns, zinc alloys but with steel where it counts like the firing pin, barrel, certain parts of the slide, etc. A person who knows what they are doing could modify and shoot regular ammo at normal pressures. The gun itself would probably hold up for a thousand rounds or so safely. A person with less skill would be doing themselves a favor by loading custom ammo with just enough pressures to get enough blowback to cycle the gun without constant failures to feed.
You just don't know what to do to make it fire but its more than possible to do it. That's why they sell blank pistol barrels but at the end of the day u wont even need it. U just need the exact size of the round your trying to make fire an bore out the obstruction in the barrel to the desired bullet dimension. The barrel will not explode sir lets be serious. drill barrel open and there should be a little hole next to where he cartiges eject just seal it up you could solder the hole and the sand it down and make sure the barrel is strong enough
Ok so if you change the barrel and recoil spring what if I bore the barrel and re riffle it or you make small lead projectiles specifically for blanks use ur brass make live loads and fire pin can be changed too the barrel is most important part though
It's not possible to shoot live ammo without the rework. It is however possible after the minor rework of the barrel. Ekol firat can be easily reworked. Same for the blank ammo. There's some videos on YT.

I just rework the inside and mill out a internal block. Also you have to rework the magazine and the guide to the clip. It sounds alot of work but also you can use the components from blank guns as the internal components are the most fiddly bits to mill out.
Is it illegal to drill a hole through the barrel? A cop told me it isn't illegal to try to drill a hole but never told me what would happen if I was successful... That would make it be able to shoot the live bullet right? Despite the fact that the barrel is made out of a weaker metal I was told. Idk though it seems like the same metal they used to make my shotgun with so what's the big difference really? You buy a 500 dollar table drill in my eyes that would make the gun be able to have full functionality, am I wrong?
Blank guns are made of a softer metal. The barrel and most inner mechanisms are just normal steel and not hardened. The gun won't be able to handle the extra pressure and recoil. It will blow up in your hand.

You should try to make specialized bullets to fit on to the blank rounds, pull off the tips of the blanks and pack it with a pellet or an oversized, Bebe or something it mite take some work but I bet it works…

All I can say about it is this: I understand that people are likely right that it is possible with some work to make a blank gun shoot a lethal round, yet remember that no matter how many modifications you have to do on your blank gun to achieve this goal and no matter how professional you've done it, it was never ever constructed for this type of thing. That's like installing a rocket engine on your car, just to make it faster. Of course, even I would just love to have a real gun, instead of having "just" a blank gun, but the danger, as Replica Blank Guns has stated in his video, is just too big for me personally, because the gun may explode right in my hand and I do not believe that this is anything healthy at all. Again, it's just my personal point of view, but making a blank gun capable of shooting actual live rounds is just as dangerous as creating your own explosives for New Year's Eve. And frankly, if you live in a country where a civilian cannot have anything better than blank guns and blank gun ammunition, according to the laws of the country, I'd say have fun trying to find real live ammunition for your lethal modified blank gun. Because if you find a seller who does sell you this ammunition then you better buy a real gun from him as well. Plus, if you modify a blank gun to make it lethal, that means you are ready to use it for self-defense and you are ready to actually hurt or even kill your attacker. Yes, I love self-defense and everything that comes with it, but have also fun in trying to convince a judge that you did not meant anything bad and you were doing all of this just to defend yourself even better. In my country, Germany, they will definitely care. It may be that they would not charge you for defending yourself against an attacker, but using an illegally made gun for it they can charge you for that, unfortunately, and extremely harsh as well. Of course, I wish they wouldn't do that, but the judicial system in Germany is unfortunately very harsh, especially more against its own people, as crazy as it sounds. Believe me, I wish it wouldn't be illegal at all, but just right now they are planning to make our weapons laws even more harsh, they just want to discuss a new law in the parliament within the 2nd week of the coming June. It's a tragedy, so I have decided for myself to better stick to a non-modified blank gun loaded with Supra PV rounds, not to mention that I have never done any modifications on a gun before and just one small mistake can get your health into serious trouble. If you are good in this kind of work and it also works well for you, I congratulate you, my friend, but I am still not sure if I could ever do it.
good video and true but if you know about metal working and have this know how you can make a blank fireing or replica thats made to spec to fire a mod 8 mm or 9 mm ,its all down to gunsmithing,all the barrel and parts that have the stresses to take a real round and its all down to pattern parts,,if some guy with hand tools and files can make a handgun or rifle in a village in certain countries then a perfect copy that only needs parts removed and changed for quality metal parts its really not hard to be honest,,as a ex precission engineir ,ive seen some very good made blank fireing guns with top end metal parts swapped out and modifified rounds ,thank the gods not in europe or uk ,,the know how is the key ,alot of fools drill them as is and bodge the things a hand held bomb basic terms

Here in colombia somes criminals used modify the p.a.k guns or p.a guns , you have to cut the barrel and put a metal barrel because the deafult barrel of blanks guns are made of zamak and That material does not withstand the explosion of a real ammunition cause is a alloy of aluminum and others materials so you have to change the barrel and thats all , the .380 acp is the same size of the blank amunnition so you dont have to change the magazine , you can use the original magazine if you convert to .380 acp , other way to make the blanks guns lethal is open the barrel with a drill and just modify the blank ammunition, you remove the green plastic and put a ogive of lead and glue it with instant glue and is literally a lethal ammunition, i have some video where they put a rifle type ogive and it was more lethal than a .380 ammunition , also here in colombia like 2 years ago was legal sell the traumatic guns (p.a guns) , this guns are like blanks guns but they shoot ammunition with a rubber ball as a projectiles so they came with a open barrel , if you get shot by this ammunition it will leave a hole in your skin and destroy it and if you shoot someone in the head you probably kill him but obviously a rubber ball can't go through you so some criminals used to put a metal ballin on the top of the p.a ammuntion ( TRAUMATIC AMMUNITION) , or put a piece of lead .... the thing is made the gun lethal...

7.65 and .380 are not really high powered rounds, the guns won't explode into million parts and kill u instantly. If a 10mm blows up in your hands its moure serious but a .32 or .380 is not that harmfull... Maybe some burns on the finger, possibly a cracked slide, but thats pretty much it...
Good video thanks for sharing.. I have been shooting real firearms for over 40 years. from 22LR >44 magnum. My experience is that this real weapon produces a pressure build-up in the barrel that is extremely high. Blank guns are not built for this. they are cast from a metal alloy. when you shoot a real round even though the barrel is bored open. the weapon will explode in your hand and if you're lucky blow your fingers away. but the most dangerous thing is that the sledge hits you in the head and you are killed or very seriously injured and left blind. so never fire a real round in a replica gun.
Understanding the anatomy of the gun itself people have made guns out of basic piping laying around their house converting a blank firing weapon to a functioning firearm wouldn't be any different of a process if have the knowledge and understanding of said process learning how to use basic tools the tolerances in different metals proper measurements cutting realignment and replacing integral parts is key if set up a procedure and follow through to a T you will make a reliable durable weapon as good as any weapon on the market 😂
Possible, but I would not hold the gun when firing, as it could easily explode. That has happened many times, this should be informed/warned about when you buy these as not eneough people are aware of the danger.
So u know that Bruni Brand Glock u cannot convert it its a very crappy replica of glock u have to have a real glock blank gun and u can just swap barrel with real barrel and ur good to go same as other guns u have if u swap to a real barrel it I'll fire love rounds and will be able to withstand it because the real barrel u replace it with is a real barrel which is made for live rounds
I have converted multiple ekol major blank guns(walter ppk replica). That thing costs a fraction of a real gun you need an 8mm drill bit and a multiple honeing tools to slowly half mil by half mil get the bore to get to 8.98mm then you doo the rifleing with a button made from a steel rod (you heat it up and twist the rod to the correct rate by eye nothing fancy and hammer that thrugh the barell it will create the grooves clean the pistol real well put it back togeather and you got yourself a working handgun. I've done everything legally this cheap ass zink alloy pistol is trugh 250 shots and jammed like twice both were solveable with a simple tap rack. They won't explode make sure tonlet them cool down thoug or you can really f up the thing.

How many of you have seen people make home made guns on you tube that have been thrown together with scrap metal and function with out any problems, some of the home made guns are as good as a high point. Now blank guns that are the solid black ones are made better then the ones with chrome and alloy. Just a ffy Ruger makes a Wrangler revolver out of aluminum and alloy frame and it shoots 22long ammo with no problem to the frame. All this noise that you can't fire ammo out of a blank gun is just noise from the government and media to keep people from doing it. You can make a complete plastic 3d gun and fire live ammo from it for a good period of time before it breaks up. Blank guns are made better then most cheap real guns that fire ammo. There are plenty of gun gadgets on the market that shoot real bullets but the frame is plastic. You can replace the barrel on a zorkai gun with steel barrel and have a real gun that shoots 380 or 22 or 32. It's not rocket science now how many cases is documented that a converted blank gun malfunctioned. I think the news would run a story like that I can't find a case we're a converted blank gun malfunctioned and somebody got hurt and went to the hospital. I also don't see conversions going bad with law enforcement testing the guns they confiscate. It's all bull crap to scare the public these guns are purposely made for people to convert them. If that wasn't the case they wouldn't make them that easy to do it. People make zip guns and they don't malfunction. With today's metals, computers, gun parts on the market or just two steel tubes a gun. Can be made that won't explode very easily

Depends. If you live in america, you can have your right to own firearms taken for ANY felony conviction, alot of which are non violent. If they try to purchase a firearm, they will not be allowed to as all gun stores have to do a backround check. So if it is the only way for protection... better judged by 12 than carried by 6.

Go ahead and try it. A blank barrel does not have the integrity of a actual rifled pistol barrel. Your basically making a ticking pipe bomb. A 9mm blank makes about 3000psi of pressure as to where a real 9mm round makes about 20,000 plus psi of pressure.

U just need the exact size of the round your trying to make fire an bore out the obstruction in the barrel to the desired bullet dimension. The barrel will not explode sir lets be serious. I can order a cap an ball revolver to my door an shoot real ammo out of it with no problem an most of them are made with even softer metal such as brass. It's not possible to shoot live ammo without the rework. It is however possible after the minor rework of the barrel. Ekol firat can be easily reworked. Same for the blank ammo. There's some videos on YT.

I just rework the inside and mill out a internal block. Also you have to rework the magazine and the guide to the clip. It sounds alot of work but also you can use the components from blank guns as the internal components are the most fiddly bits to mill out.

Blank guns are made of a softer metal. The barrel and most inner mechanisms are just normal steel and not hardened. The gun won't be able to handle the extra pressure and recoil. It will blow up in your hand.

You should try to make specialized bullets to fit on to the blank rounds, pull off the tips of the blanks and pack it with a pellet or an oversized, Bebe or something it mite take some work but I bet it works…

All I can say about it is this: I understand that people are likely right that it is possible with some work to make a blank gun shoot a lethal round, yet remember that no matter how many modifications you have to do on your blank gun to achieve this goal and no matter how professional you've done it, it was never ever constructed for this type of thing. That's like installing a rocket engine on your car, just to make it faster. Of course, even I would just love to have a real gun, instead of having "just" a blank gun, but the danger, as Replica Blank Guns has stated in his video, is just too big for me personally, because the gun may explode right in my hand and I do not believe that this is anything healthy at all.
Again, it's just my personal point of view, but making a blank gun capable of shooting actual live rounds is just as dangerous as creating your own explosives for New Year's Eve. And frankly, if you live in a country where a civilian cannot have anything better than blank guns and blank gun ammunition, according to the laws of the country, I'd say have fun trying to find real live ammunition for your lethal modified blank gun. Because if you find a seller who does sell you this ammunition then you better buy a real gun from him as well. Plus, if you modify a blank gun to make it lethal, that means you are ready to use it for self-defense and you are ready to actually hurt or even kill your attacker. Yes, I love self-defense and everything that comes with it, but have also fun in trying to convince a judge that you did not meant anything bad and you were doing all of this just to defend yourself even better. And if you end up in prison because of this, then I think you would just love to have just even a blank gun with Supra PV rounds, while being surrounded by so many dangerous guys, but then even that will be impossible then. :)

In my country, Germany, they will definitely care. It may be that they would not charge you for defending yourself against an attacker, but using an illegally made gun for it they can charge you for that, unfortunately, and extremely harsh as well. Of course, I wish they wouldn't do that, but the judicial system in Germany is unfortunately very harsh, especially more against its own people, as crazy as it sounds. Believe me, I wish it wouldn't be illegal at all, but just right now they are planning to make our weapons laws even more harsh, they just want to discuss a new law in the parliament within the 2nd week of the coming June. It's a tragedy, so I have decided for myself to better stick to a non-modified blank gun loaded with Supra PV rounds, not to mention that I have never done any modifications on a gun before and just one small mistake can get your health into serious trouble. If you are good in this kind of work and it also works well for you, I congratulate you, my friend, but I am still not sure if I could ever do it.

good video and true but if you know about metal working and have this know how you can make a blank fireing or replica thats made to spec to fire a mod 8 mm or 9 mm ,its all down to gunsmithing,all the barrel and parts that have the stresses to take a real round and its all down to pattern parts,,if some guy with hand tools and files can make a handgun or rifle in a village in certain countries then a perfect copy that only needs parts removed and changed for quality metal parts its really not hard to be honest,,as a ex precission engineir ,ive seen some very good made blank fireing guns with top end metal parts swapped out and modifified rounds ,thank the gods not in europe or uk ,,the know how is the key ,alot of fools drill them as is and bodge the things a hand held bomb basic terms

Here in colombia somes criminals used modify the p.a.k guns or p.a guns , you have to cut the barrel and put a metal barrel because the deafult barrel of blanks guns are made of zamak and That material does not withstand the explosion of a real ammunition cause is a alloy of aluminum and others materials so you have to change the barrel and thats all , the .380 acp is the same size of the blank amunnition so you dont have to change the magazine , you can use the original magazine if you convert to .380 acp , other way to make the blanks guns lethal is open the barrel with a drill and just modify the blank ammunition, you remove the green plastic and put a ogive of lead and glue it with instant glue and is literally a lethal ammunition, i have some video where they put a rifle type ogive and it was more lethal than a .380 ammunition , also here in colombia like 2 years ago was legal sell the traumatic guns (p.a guns) , this guns are like blanks guns but they shoot ammunition with a rubber ball as a projectiles so they came with a open barrel , if you get shot by this ammunition it will leave a hole in your skin and destroy it and if you shoot someone in the head you probably kill him but obviously a rubber ball can't go through you so some criminals used to put a metal ballin on the top of the p.a ammuntion ( TRAUMATIC AMMUNITION) , or put a piece of lead .... the thing is made the gun lethal...

7.65 and .380 are not really high powered rounds, the guns won't explode into million parts and kill u instantly. If a 10mm blows up in your hands its moure serious but a .32 or .380 is not that harmfull... Maybe some burns on the finger, possibly a cracked slide, but thats pretty much it...
Good video thanks for sharing.. I have been shooting real firearms for over 40 years. from 22LR >44 magnum. My experience is that this real weapon produces a pressure build-up in the barrel that is extremely high. Blank guns are not built for this. they are cast from a metal alloy. when you shoot a real round even though the barrel is bored open. the weapon will explode in your hand and if you're lucky blow your fingers away. but the most dangerous thing is that the sledge hits you in the head and you are killed or very seriously injured and left blind. so never fire a real round in a replica gun.

Understanding the anatomy of the gun itself people have made guns out of basic piping laying around their house converting a blank firing weapon to a functioning firearm wouldn't be any different of a process if have the knowledge and understanding of said process learning how to use basic tools the tolerances in different metals proper measurements cutting realignment and replacing integral parts is key if set up a procedure and follow through to a T you will make a reliable durable weapon as good as any weapon on the market 😂

I have often wondered how much time and work went into inventing and making these guns.. not that I have any interest in ever using or owning one
So u know that Bruni Brand Glock u cannot convert it its a very crappy replica of glock u have to have a real glock blank gun and u can just swap barrel with real barrel and ur good to go same as other guns u have if u swap to a real barrel it I'll fire love rounds and will be able to withstand it because the real barrel u replace it with is a real barrel which is made for live rounds
I have converted multiple ekol major blank guns(walter ppk replica). That thing costs a fraction of a real gun you need an 8mm drill bit and a multiple honeing tools to slowly half mil by half mil get the bore to get to 8.98mm then you doo the rifleing with a button made from a steel rod (you heat it up and twist the rod to the correct rate by eye nothing fancy and hammer that thrugh the barell it will create the grooves clean the pistol real well put it back togeather and you got yourself a working handgun. I've done everything legally this cheap ass zink alloy pistol is trugh 250 shots and jammed like twice both were solveable with a simple tap rack. They won't explode make sure tonlet them cool down thoug or you can really f up the thing.

How many of you have seen people make home made guns on you tube that have been thrown together with scrap metal and function with out any problems, some of the home made guns are as good as a high point. Now blank guns that are the solid black ones are made better then the ones with chrome and alloy. Just a ffy Ruger makes a Wrangler revolver out of aluminum and alloy frame and it shoots 22long ammo with no problem to the frame. All this noise that you can't fire ammo out of a blank gun is just noise from the government and media to keep people from doing it. You can make a complete plastic 3d gun and fire live ammo from it for a good period of time before it breaks up. Blank guns are made better then most cheap real guns that fire ammo. There are plenty of gun gadgets on the market that shoot real bullets but the frame is plastic. You can replace the barrel on a zorkai gun with steel barrel and have a real gun that shoots 380 or 22 or 32. It's not rocket science now how many cases is documented that a converted blank gun malfunctioned. I think the news would run a story like that I can't find a case we're a converted blank gun malfunctioned and somebody got hurt and went to the hospital. I also don't see conversions going bad with law enforcement testing the guns they confiscate. It's all bull crap to scare the public these guns are purposely made for people to convert them. If that wasn't the case they wouldn't make them that easy to do it. People make zip guns and they don't malfunction. With today's metals, computers, gun parts on the market or just two steel tubes a gun. Can be made that won't explode very easily

Go ahead and try it. A blank barrel does not have the integrity of a actual rifled pistol barrel. Your basically making a ticking pipe bomb. A 9mm blank makes about 3000psi of pressure as to where a real 9mm round makes about 20,000 plus psi of pressure.
