    It was cute how AJ saying his beloved White Sox were beside themselves upon hearing that Houston gave Abreu 3/58 as if the White Sox, the worst run organization on planet earth, has become the leading authority on such matters.

    i'm not a hader fan and i'm certainly not any kind of "insider" but even i can comprehend the concept of hader being against multi-inning previously being related to the brewers and padres not being willing to commit major & long-term money to him but still wanting him to risk his health, ESPECIALLY in a free agency year (and a team just playing out the year). he got his contract & security and now he was willing to do it. i can respect that and don't understand how that's so difficult to grasp.

    Ooh, "they asked Hader to pitch 2 innings" What a disaster ! The wheels have fallen off. ! Talk about stupid commentary. Hader has said he will do whatever the Astros need him to do, because they made a commitment to him, he has made a commitment to them. Chandler Rome is well worth ignoring.

    Are they going to bring up Pedro León ? He's killing it in AAA and with the Dodgers bringing up Pages, I think it is time...

    Reminds of Alvin Davis back in the day. Dude just suddenly lost his bat speed and he was done. This happens to athletes sometimes. They just lose that extra step...

    Watched the game last night. I still don't trust Singleton, there is a reason he was in the minor leagues for how many years. But the announcers must have been told the company line or buy into Abreu turning it around. Stating he goes to Palm Beach and works things out and comes back and helps the team. It has nothing to do about his presence in the clubhouse. He played poorly last year and is worse this year. At least I have not heard anybody say the magic words "look on the back of his playing card and he can turn it around".

    • @worldtraveler721
      @worldtraveler721 4 месяца назад

      I don't trust that Singleton can keep this up either. What Dana Brown and the FO should be doing right now is NOT expecting for Abreu or Singleton to be the answer. Singleton also played poorly last season. 1st base should have been addressed in the offseason. They should be trying to address it right now. The people running this organization are the biggest problem. They are clueless

    I'm really not concerned. Too many good players there. Long term maybe a problem b/c their farm system isn't as strong

    For Hader not to pitch more than an inning since 2019.....I’m not buying the story that all of a sudden he was more than willing to do it....but typical Houston in spinning the story to the public 🙄 Will see how many times Hader will do it again

    • @Nicholas-HTX
      @Nicholas-HTX 5 месяцев назад

      Why would they need to spin anything? He either pitches multiple innings or he doesn’t.
      Doesn’t need to be a thing. He was signed as a closer. Ryan Pressly didn’t typically pitch multiple innings when he was our closer.

    • @Andrew-kx2ek
      @Andrew-kx2ek 5 месяцев назад

      @@Nicholas-HTX Will see how many times he will be willing to pitch multiple innings, if necessary. Than will find out if the organization was telling the truth about Hader. I don’t care whether Pressly was used a certain way or not before but, there’s been more than one time that it would have made sense to run Hader out there for another inning but instead chose to use their bad bullpen.

      This is what Hader said on April 30th:
      Joe Espada said the coaching staff approached Josh Hader about going another inning and, according to Espada, Hader replied “I want it.”
      “Thats something I don’t really like doing,” Espada added or throwing Hader two innings.
      This is what Hader said on May 1st:
      "Obviously, we need to win ballgames, right? And I think with me having a long resting period leading into this series, it made sense. And obviously, I felt good enough to go for the second inning . That was the biggest thing. This year my expectations were to be able to be available for multiple innings."

    Dusty Baker H.O .F manager gone

      @worldtraveler721 4 месяца назад

      Baker took over a team that had won 100 games in THREE consecutive seasons, and had made 2 World Series appearances in 2 of those 3 seasons. The Astros under Baker's first season, lost the division and had a losing record too.
      The team hasn't been the same since 2022 when James Click left and Crane started listening to Bagwell
