the umps wearing FTX patches is beyond parody!
FTX was a real company until just recently. Now, they'll have to find something else to sponsor the umpires.
They didn't want to, MLB forced them to. The patches they used to wear in that place memorialized deceased umpires, but MLB chose to be greedy over being decent.
It was never a real company...it was a scam everyone bought into because they thought they would get rich.
Lol…I was thinking the same thing.
@@ericvansickle4305 a real company of thieves yeah
I like how the Atlanta announcers were mad at the call for the Red Sox too 😂
that was a Red Sox broadcast.
When will the umpires get held responsible for bad calls instead of them tossing out players and managers
Agreed. It's time MLB solved their umpiring problem. It's time for them to be held accountable. Players and managers are always held accountable, it's time for the umpires to be held accountable, too. In fact, WAY past time.
@@natemarroquin if mlb wants human umps, they should take money away from umpires for every bad call
@@natemarroquin it’s harder than you think to umpire
@@SorokingProd30 with that kind of mentality we should take away money from you every time you misfile something at work😂
Believe or not MLB does hold umpires accountable. They get fined and suspended based off certain mishandling of situations or miss application of rules
as a phillies fan watching the nationals vs phillies game live and seeing the manager get so heated surprised me so much i actually thought the ump was going to get punched in the face
If MLB actually fixed their umpiring issue, then they wouldn't be able to make this video.
If they "fixed" umpires baseball wouldn't be a sport anymore it would be a form of entertainment like the NBA
Yea cuz u have never made any mistakes at work
@David Henrie the fact you think the NBA isn't a sport is laughable. I love baseball but basketball players are way more athletic than baseball plays and play a more physical sport
@@BadBoy47 Have you seen NBA refereeing lately? "Sport" is a complete joke
Well, it probably could but it would have a much shorter run time.
MLB knows what gets the views.
Ain’t no way😂
This ain’t gettin more than 20k views

good balk calls on last clip. A shame a major league pitcher doesn't know how to come set
I could watch this all day 😂
No player, manager or umpire is perfect but so many of these blown calls are indefensible.
John Libka might mess up once in a while, but he is one of the best HPU in the league.
Ejections are a badge of honour for managers
These compilations are usually pretty tame, but this was a really good one.
If you never get set, as a pitcher, that's a balk all day every day. Good call!
Agreed. He never amended his delivery and acted surprised when he got called again.
Funny thing is Bleier literally does that every time, they just never call it
All 3 were balks and a couple of them weren’t close either.
They should get rid of that rule. Balk who cares. Free base? Gtfo
Ah yes, the power to throw people out when they call you on your poor job performance.
The last sequence.
Three balks
Those were correct calls.
A pitcher in the stretch must come to a set position for at least one second before beginning his motion to deliver a pitch..
Set means the standard manner in which a pitcher comes to rest in the stretch..
The Miami pitcher changed his set to chest high, which is in an of itself an attempt to deceive the runner..
Set position is at the belt or just above.
Plus, each time the balk was called, the pitcher did not stop for a full second..
The pitcher must come set but the pause must be discernable. Nowhere in any rule book does it say he needs to come set for one second.
I like how the Umpires get yelled at for 2 mins then decide to eject the managers honestly it’s just funny to me cause they maybe wanna hear what there gonna say before they just jump to ejection like NBA refs
They need a reason like a personal attack because they need to write a report of why they ejected the person
people criticize that, but I'd rather the umpire contemplate ejection than feel they need to do it without thinking
Should start having umps have after game press conferences like players n coaches do
In mlb, every manager rants about the same issue. It’s not about playing and strategizing to beat a team. All about getting over bad calls
In a league of their own they said their is no crying in baseball but man is there a lot of crying in baseball.
6:10. Pointin the gun. What a call
I love how they eject The players/managers and then they let them vent and listen to the player/manager
They really don't have any choice when someone is screaming at them and yelling in their face.
hi.. when they get angry, is become the best show
Honestly the players in the dugout are a better umpire than the actual umpire
Lol
Son, you are delusional.
Can someone explain the Balk calls at the end of this video? It is because the Pitcher was using a wind-up motion instead of the stretch? I don't see it.
That first clip is the best example of two wrongs making a right.
The only people in baseball expected to be perfect-umpires.
Where’s the clip of Kap hulking out? 🤣
Imagine if you could yell at each other in the office? It would be great fun.
Game tickets, parking, food, hats and jerseys aside, the UMPIRES are why we watch baseball. Right?
These guys up in the booth get a lot of different views of the pitches. The plate umpire only gets one view from behind the plate.
And a yellow line to and strike zone outline
MLB needs to use replay on certain plays like strikes
Nearly 14 minutes illustrating why robot umps are needed the day before yesterday
But but tradition
Respectfully disagree
That takes away the whole point of the game.
@@madeinamerica7792 provide 3,127 examples of how robot umps takes away from " the point of the game ". Why 3,127 ? Because 3,128 would be hyperbole to make a point. Besides, the umpire is there to get the calls right. Robot umps will, the human ones will not
@@michaelbaucom4019 it’s all part of the experience. League average is that 99.5% of calls are correct by umpires. I would rather see 0.5% of calls incorrect than to have robots that take away the fun from the game.
How can you do a video like this and not include Terry Francona vs Ron Kulpa in August.
I played baseball for many years and I’ve been hit exactly the same as 7:20. That really f***ing hurts
Alternative title: “Ump Show: 2023 Version”
Good~
Bruh in the second one when Boston was playing in Atlanta that exact same umpire also did a bad call in NY when jazz chisholm Jr. Was batting so he always makes bad calls
I'm a Braves Fan, and up until that moment, the ump had a solid balls/strikes game. We all knew we caught a huge break on that missed call
@@Stormsfury777 yea the Sox possibly win if that gets called a ball
My player's ejection of the year: Kyle Schwarber. He's also my bat flip of the year.
Fr, all you have to say is Kyle Schwarber ejection and everyone immediately knows what you're talking about
Having old men who can barely see through their cataracts determining if triple-digit fastballs clipped the zone or not is definitely a choice…imagine if we had younger umpires whose vision hasn’t drastically declined, as is inevitable in your later years. The Umpire’s Union has MLB by its tiny balls
10 retirements this year, so you are about to get your wish 😂
its almost like sports is rigged.
😂😂😂😂 that made my day.... "cataracts"💀
Coming from an umpire this makes no sense. It’s not about your vision. All umpires are required to pass a 20/20 vision test with or without glasses, the reason why most major league umpires are so old is because they are so experienced. Having a young kid behind the plate with a fresh set of eyes does sound good however you’re totally disregarding the experience they have
Any time you want to step up, go right ahead.
finally an ejection video from the MLB youtube channel
We live in 2022 and we still have players and managers being ejected for yelling 😂😂 when the call is most of the time wrong
We need to go to AI balls and strikes in baseball they need to be testing or working on that tech now
That’s why the plate ump should point to the field umpire with your left hand if it’s truly needed.
TITO!!!!
😂😂😂😂😂😂. Umpires are the kings 💪💪💪💪💪
He needs to come to a stop. Balk
The umpire that called three balks is the new angel hernandez.
BS, all those balk calls were correct.
It's OK everyone, Umpires are never held accountable for their poor job performance.
According to the MLB definitions, the height of the zone is supposed to start from the bottom of the knees to the mid-point of the individual batter. This is the problem with relying on the fancy box on TV as the argument for getting mad at the strike zone of the day as it does get the width correct but the height is an approximation. Judge was right in this video it was low, but most batters would rightly have that exact pitch be called a strike. Context matters!
The machado one it was a strike
Ump's gonna rock the FTX patch for 2023? lol
Where’s the Angel Hernandez clip with Kyle Schwarber blowing his stack on him ?
Milwaukee brewers vs Pittsburgh pirates game
Saludos
baseball will eventually get rid of umpires, and balls and strikes will be called by machines.
Hey MLB when will you hold these horrendous umpires accountable?
And Vegas cleans up. Anyone betting these Blues are cleaning up
umpires are ejection happy. when are umpires going to get held responsible for the things they do.
Since when do they ask the 2nd base ump if a batter swung or not!?
Fair play to Bleier for not punching the ump
Dude I would've killed him. 3 balks to bring in a runner, that guys getting ground into the warning track
The umpires are wearing FTX patches. Bwahaha
I would pay big money to see someone deck an Ump
Englishman here, confused about what was going on in the final clip can anyone explain?
The awful strike call which led to plaweki and Cora getting ejected… the ump should’ve gotten tossed himself lol
In the 9
今年のMLBの退場と言えば、やっぱりシュワーバーのやつでしょ
Can't really tell - 3 forced ads every 11 seconds. Jesus.
There is no way a manager can see if it's a ball or strike from the dugout and the umpire 2 feet away at the optimum angle.
Depends on the batter and where the manager is they can see it
@@SorokingProd30 wrong they can see high low but can’t see in or out from dug out.
Now you 🤬learned something
@@joelzand3594 they can look at the replay u bozos
7:21 The pitcher doesn’t get tossed for this or get a warning
There is no reason to give a warning or for him to be tossed.
Is that angel
The umps are paid under the table to call those bad fn calls
It amazes me how you upload a video literally calling out your umpires and yet you do nothing about it
Can we sue for false advertising with that first ejection?
If Bleier doesn’t know what he’s doing wrong then he needs to be coached better, clear balks!
Wow 😂
If batter wants to crowd the plate and doesn’t move, there is no sympathy
These are epic?
Earl Weaver, Billy Martin, and Tommy Lasorda would like a word….
I was just about to say this! 😂
So sick of MLB umpires on ego trips!!!
I don't understand the first one where the Seattle Mariners manager was arguing? His player just got two good calls. It's the other team's manager this should be complaining
Umps are so emphatic when throwing people out. Gotta make sure they stay the center of attention
nah that's just how they have to do it. It's probably the same way they calls
Last one was on the mobs payroll
MLB posting this videos of their god awful umpires instead of fixing their umpire problem is the biggest travesty of 2022.
Bet this gets more views than 3/4 of their videos, people love this but they want robo umps… can’t have the best of both worlds
Anytime the ump has to go out to confront the pitcher, thumb him and be done with it.
wow 7th on an mlb video
Why. Did the Dodgers manager gets ejected
5:37 why is he mad? It’s the correct call I don’t why a manager could get so mad over a correct call
Because it's not, it is only interference if the fielder has no chance to play the ball but still interferes with the runner. In this play the fielder had a chance to make the play if the runner was not there meaning it isn't interference.
@@kan6039 oh thanks, it looked like he had no chance and it looked like obstruction to me
@@SorokingProd30 well it's a judgment call so to each their own just offering a different perspective
Those Balk calls were the absolute worst calls I've ever seen in baseball. Dude pitched the same way every single time he pitched that game, and suddenly they are Balks? That is either the most blatantly paid off ump or the dumbest one I've seen in a while,
Epic? Half these have hardly any words exchanged.
They should just stop using umpires. Just let the players do it. Or just use the honor system.
Or pick four fans out of the stands and let them do it.
Is anyone around here able to explain me why the umpire call that a balk ?
No pause, three times.
What would happen if the MLB players union forced MLB to discipline MLB umpires by the way of lawsuits against MLB umpires?
Lawsuits for perceived bad calls? That will never happen and you know it.
Most umps are old and blind. Idk how they still have jobs.
These weren't that epic of ejections. Look up Baldeli's ejection when even the challenge and review still got the call wrong. That ejection was epic.
Umpires are just terrible anymore and have way too much power! Get rid of these terrible umpires and bring in the robots
Umps need to be held responsible period.
Yea they should have money taken off their paycheck for every bad call, idk how much they get paid but $5,000 off for making a bad call
@@SorokingProd30 that’s gotta be the stupidest thing I’ve ever heard
It boils down to the umpires union , when the union protects these bad umpires the league can't do much in the way of discipline, it will only change when the league notifies the union either get rid of the bad umps or we will not recertify any contract with the union , and then stick to it ! It may take a season without mJor league umps , but it will send a clear message to the union. You need us , we don't you !
Shouldn't test anyone
