Definitely one of my favourite piano concertos. It's one of the very defining piece of the Romantic ethos.

Rereading this score for the first time in 60 plus years reminded me of the difficulties encountered with Schumann's hand spans and of playing allegro chordal progressions smoothly. Yunchan has trained himself to play these seemingly effortlessly and also to reveal the wonderful inner melodies that can be lost in performance at times. Thank you for this terrific and entertaining video.

Nunca me había interesado Schumann, ya que lo consideraba demasiado sensible y patético, pero esta ejecución e interpretación de su klavierkonzert es excelente.
