Hi Heather, great video! It's nice to see you back at it. I hope your feeling better. I know how your feeling because we are having a really bad allergy season where I'm at. I look forward to see what you come up with next. Take care, Dee😊👍
+R Treasure Box The Fimo Deco Gel is too thin. You may be able to use the TLS, but glass doesn't like to stay permanently attached to polymer clay. if you us it, glaze it, to help prevent the loss of any microbeads.
I love this idea! Id never have thought to use a flower cutter to make the bowl rims. You are so clever! What type of glitter do you suggest? Whatever type you used was perfect =)
If you can't get glitter like that roll out a very thin piece of translucent clay and I mean very thin then bake it, chop it up in very small pieces and it will work just as good
I hope to film again soon. It has been a rough few months. My mom has been diagnosed with stage 3 cancer, I fell roller skating, and hurt my wrist. I didn't break the bone, but the bone at the outside of my wrist looks different than my other wrist and it hurts still when I am gripping items in that hand. BBQ ribs are the next mini I am filming.
you make beautifull work. could you make a video mentioning the tools you mostly use and not ingredients but you know what i mean. and hiw to use play doh not polymer clay like a starters list.thank
so how do you get linneas luster dust I went on the website they're from sanbernadino they said you have to have a business license and account in order to purchase
I bought mine from a retailer, Cake Palace is the name. I am now buying all my luster/ pearl dusts, from Global Sugar art. They have all the same colors, although sometimes the name of the color will be different
I don't know how i feel about triple thick for polymer clay. Its always so sticky, ugly and tacky after a few weeks on polymer clay. I also live in a warm/hot place all year long..
A lot of people use it with great success but I definitely think it depends on the type of environment you live in. If its hot/humid I think it effects the glaze =( You could use any other thick gloss type glazes & get similar results.
LitAfuseiCantStop My other concern is for those who use it and lets say they sell their creations on etsy. Its hard to tell who the charms will go to and then lets say their triple thick glazed charms go to a person who lives in a hot place. I personally just stick to sculpey gloss glaze or varathane polyurathane now. They have never gone bad on me personally.
+RainbowTea In this particular case, you need a really thick liquid to adhere the glitter or glass. It is way too heavy to work with the light glazes, or liquid Fimo. I haven't had a problem with it getting sticky when it is completely covered with the glass. If you are hot and humid, then you can always make a couple testers, and then let them sit for 6 months. I have switched to polyurethane, for my normal glazing uses. Also I found if triple thick, or diamond glaze on charms is stored in plastic containers, and they are under direct sunlight, they do get sticky quickly. Diamond Glaze I can't use where I live because of humidity. Triple Thick used to be fine, but I think they changed something in the formula.
Your videos are so ASMRy, I love the sounds of the toothbrush and glitter and your voice is very soothing :o Also great tutorial as always :)

Cool tutorial! Wouldn't chalk pastels work for coloring the glaze, or does it have to be the food coloring?
+Lindy Diddle Yes, eye shadow work work as well.
Cute!! Have you ever tried using fimo deco gel instead of the triple thick?

Ah ok, good to know! Thanks for the tutorial! I love the bowl! :)

Thanks so much for your help! Do you have any idea what type if glitter that is? Incase I can find it =)
LitAfuseiCantStop sadly im not sure what kind of glitter it is, im not sure if she maybe put it in the description box under the video
Heather where did you get the glass glitter from? I bought some but it wasn't all that good. It was very flat almost like plastic.
I picked mine up at Micheals. They are flat too, but very irregular in shape
+Heather Wells okay thank you. They just didn't look right at first. And I miss your videos !

Yes triple thick is not a good glaze, sculpey is good I have triple thick and I just let it collect dust

Heather Wells just press your finger on it for a bit, it gets sticky, it's bad
Wtf she forgot to say "thank you for joining me"😭
