    I don't seem to see a pumkpin pie? I wouldn't be slicing it. It be a whole pie. Would there need to be a filling? As I feel the topping is just gonna have some slits. But to make realistic would I need to add a filling under neath?

      I do plan on doing sandwiches in the future. After candy I will make sure to announce another theme. I plan on announcing a new theme in January. Maybe it will fit in, in the new theme. I will do the video the first Saturday in January, so make sure to remind me then, so I can have you as the first suggesting grilled cheese :)

    How does your clay not stick to your work surface

  • @BlackCat_2

    Great idea using the pie tin to get the shape. :) Just love it when the fire alarm goes off yeah? Drives me crazy when mine does and usually is at the worst time like recording a video. :D
    I bought a jewelers set of hand drills for putting holes in my baked clay pieces. It works great and I have a bunch of sizes for the drill bits including really thin holes but I seldom use those ones.

      BlackCat2 I do mean to invest in a dremel tool sometime. They are great for polishing too. The beeping is actually the timer on my toaster oven. Very load, and annoying, but I do love that the toaster oven has a timer. It is also digital and regulates it's temperature, so I don't have to worry so much about the temperature.

    • @BlackCat_2
      @BlackCat_2 10 лет назад

      Heather Wells I do have a dremel and I use it for a lot including polishing but I have had issues using it to drill holes in baked clay sometimes. Mostly with cracking/splitting. The hand drills have not given me that issue. I am guessing it is a speed thing. I found my hand drills on amazon.
      Wow that is a loud annoying toaster oven! I thought it was a fire alarm. It sounds just like my fire alarm. :) I don't have a digital one so I have to watch it. Burnt a few things here and there. :)

      Heather Wells You are most welcome. :) They are the 19 Pin Vises HSS Drill Bits Jewelry Drilling Hand Tools on amazon sold by Finding King. It says currently unavailable right now though but if you find it then you can find some like them I am sure. :)

    Curious, why is translucent so much harder to condition? Should I add some of that conditioning stuff to it to help out? That’s the only one I really struggle with. After a while, my hands start really hurting. By the way, love this little pecan pie! Too cute!

      ***** Hi :) Thanks for watching. Pumpkin pie has been recorded, but all desserts are being accepted now, as long as I don't have a tutorial already on them. People have been making some up too, like a gummy i phone. so if you come across a cool dessert or imagine something fun let me know :)

    Super cute! I want to try it, but I don't have TLS. I live 40 miles from the nearest Michael's and the last time I was in there they were sold out of TLS completely, I even asked if they had any in back. Are there any possible replacements of TLS that you know of? I was thinking of a clear drying glue, but I don't think that's a good idea in a toaster oven, lol.
    I know TLS helps adhere uncured clay to cured clay better, but would it be okay without it or is there a risk that it could come apart? Sorry for all the questions, you seem to have a lot of experience, and I prefer to get info directly from a good source. :D

    • @malenamotta3214
      @malenamotta3214 10 лет назад

      You could order TLS on eBay and I'm pretty sure that it would stick without it just make sure you press it down good

    • @SilverGemini
      @SilverGemini 10 лет назад

      malena motta I thought about that, but I'm limited on money at the moment. Plus I can't apply a 40% off coupon to ebay. Thank you for your suggestion though.

    • @heathernwells
      @heathernwells  10 лет назад

      Linsey Houser When you do have the money do creative wholesale for the TLS it is a couple dollars more, but 4x the product. It should be okay if you are pressing firmly. I just do it as a better safe than sorry type thing.
      Here is the link. for the liquid sculpey :)
      store.creative-wholesale.com/Home/tabid/118/CategoryID/51/List/1/Level/1/Default.aspx?SortField=Free3%20DESC,ProductName

      @heathernwells  10 лет назад +1

      malena motta thanks for answering. Pressing down firmly should be just fine. I just do it as an extra precaution, but it should be fine with just pressing down fairly firmly :)
