There are less effective non-root solutions though. Lucky Patcher can also remove ads from individual apps, and RUclips Vanced is a modded RUclips app that blocks all ads (no root needed). I also use Firefox meaning I can get extensions on Android as well, however if you love Chrome I recommend the Kiwi Browser to get Chrome extensions on Android.
I still have the original Zephyrus. It is an amazing laptop and it is still going strong. The Costco near me accidentally misprinted the sale price of the Zephyrus as $1,699 instead of $2,699. I couldn't say no to that price. Their tech guy bought one too when he noticed the mistake. They fixed it shortly afterward.

At that time i already realized that because we are seated further away, the screen actually becomes visually smaller meaning it is more like a 12 or 13 inch device compare to laptops with a regular keyboard position. All these years youtubers only talked about whether you can get comfortable with the position but they are actually missing the most important point.

Harry Lin In theory you can, but in reality you won’t. Also, if you want to move your arms “backward”, as in more vertical, you will need to raise your chair too. So now your legs are also not comfortable because they are hanging

I just got the zephyrus m15 a few days ago and I'm loving it so bad! I miss the lack of fongerprint reader snd touchscreen display of my old notebook, but oh the power in this one is so insane
they don’t actually get paid more for >10 min (now >8 mins as of a few days ago) unless the creator actually chooses to run midroll ads, which D2D doesn’t do anyways so it makes no difference. Having videos be over 10 mins / 8 mins simply gives the creator the OPTION to run additional ads in the middle of the video. If the creator chooses not to, they don’t earn any additional money.

neildyt Ryzen CPUs (the ones marked as HS) runs at 35 watts rather then the Intel’s at 45 watts. The less power something needs, the less heat output there is.
mean not enough power.. when the power drop... power supply had issue keep up with it.... laptop battary would help but there will be time some strange thing will happen...
I think that having the extra screen at the bottom is a huge compliment when doing things like music production/performance and other media type of work. So add that to the awesome graphics performance this is a killer media machine👌
I still love my G14. Especially since I got it on sale and with points at Best Buy, so I only paid like $1325 w/ no tax because I live in Delaware. Unless you are a professional esports gamer you won't notice any issues with the screen. It looks just fine. I watch movies on it all the time. Only real issue is the keyboard backlighting. Plan and simple....it's awful. Not a huge deal though if you don't need to look at your keyboard as your typing.

2:01 I think they should have made it a 17 inch so that even further away from it things would still be large enough. Another alternative would be putting it on a laptop stand with a keyboard and mouse combo. That way both screens would be closer to you.
You can get a G15 GA502IU for about 1000 if its on sale. Mine doesnt deliver mirracles but it handles antyhing with medium settings, which is mostly good enough unless you have high expectations and want all the newest looking graphics; which means money.

This is the first laptop i bought in 15 years. Been primarily on PC. When i first used it, there was no confusion with the track pad or the positioning of the keyboard
I'm a Pro Duo owner. I cannot concur with your ergonomic assessment. I'm watching your vid from an even greater distance than you demonstrated. My screen doesn't lose anything (size, colour, clarity) in my estimation.
When you’re sitting behind, does the small screen block the bottom part of the main screen? Wish they had a push to raise the second screen instead of it popping out by itself. Perhaps adjustable as well.
I got the zephyrus s with 6 core intel and 2060 for €1600 about a week ago and i love that it outperforms all of the laptops that i've ever had, while looking way sleeker and feeling more premium
@@VirusSpreading thunderbolt is proprietary for Intel. I've always run Intel but give me the AMD Ryzen over the Intel with thunderbolt ports all day. I have a G15 on the way and plan to remove the fan blockers from the bottom.

@@VirusSpreading but you can fix the thermal problems by disabling cpu boost. ( it will decrease the cpu temparature by 20 degrees ) The performance of the cpu will be affected by that but it's still better than intel's best mobile cpu's at that wattage (and that price) even without boost. . You can also remove the black plastic sheets covering the fans (inside the devise) but it will void your warranty .
As good as this is, i just dont see the point of buying a 2080 machine when the 3060's have just been announced and are both FASTER and CHEAPER. Ill wait for an Asus laptop with the 3000 series.

The G14 is just a lighter and smaller version of the M15. The size and the internals are pretty much the only difference (plus the optional LEDs on the back)

Good quick review Dave, but little more could of been added. All of them include Thunderbolt 3 comparing to last year models... Also there are some differences between M15 and S15. Well, there is no Asus logo on top of M15(which I like better anyway) M15 comes in 4K option as well, while S15 doesn't. S15 comes in 300 and M15 doesn't. You can't get anything higher than 2070 MaxQ on M15. Some part of chassis on M15 is made of plastic instead full aluminum like in S15. On M15, you can't turn off Optimus/GPU Switch. Wifi internet card is soldered in on M15 and you can't change/upgrade it in case you wanted to. Last thing... If Ram size is important when buying one of those... make sure to buy 32GB size because 16gb is soldered in. If you get 16GB version that means that only 8GB is soldered in (I wish that both ram slots were exchangeable like on other laptops making 64GB RAM max ion dual channel). No RGB keyboards on M15 Prism colors, but if you get black you will have RGB.

Then the pricing would go way up. And since it's Asus the change for just a bigger screen would make a big difference in price.
actually, that's my solution at the moment. A laptop stands on a stand and my keyboard is under the stand about 10cm under the laptop.

Didn’t block it at all. Could be raised another 2 inches and still be good. Main screen has a big chin (too big imo)

I got the zephyrus s with 6 core intel and 2060 for €1600 about a week ago and i love that it outperforms all of the laptops that i've ever had, while looking way sleeker and feeling more premium
@2:05 Personally, I prefer the keyboard closer up like that. I have a Zephyrus S GX701, it works well for me, but it gets hot easily.

No because the thermals are really bad, no thunderbolt and only max q 2060. I’m not an intel fan boy just wish asus could fix that
@@VirusSpreading thunderbolt is proprietary for Intel. I've always run Intel but give me the AMD Ryzen over the Intel with thunderbolt ports all day. I have a G15 on the way and plan to remove the fan blockers from the bottom.
Slotholopolis To you I have the m15 which is the one he discussed in the video and it’s pretty good. Just know you’d be voiding your warranty if you take the fan blockers
@@VirusSpreading but you can fix the thermal problems by disabling cpu boost. ( it will decrease the cpu temparature by 20 degrees ) The performance of the cpu will be affected by that but it's still better than intel's best mobile cpu's at that wattage (and that price) even without boost. . You can also remove the black plastic sheets covering the fans (inside the devise) but it will void your warranty .

Is the Zephyrus Duo a retail or engineering unit?
Why is the Zephyrus G14 and M15 look the same?
1) He implies its a retail unit.
2) Lmao same design language its just the look of the Zephyrus line of products - for one the G14 is literally smaller and the M15 does not have the light up LED back.
The G14 is just a lighter and smaller version of the M15. The size and the internals are pretty much the only difference (plus the optional LEDs on the back)
Oh also the screen design is a bit different, since on the G14 the back of the screen lifts the laptop up when you open it.

Good quick review Dave, but little more could of been added. All of them include Thunderbolt 3 comparing to last year models... Also there are some differences between M15 and S15. Well, there is no Asus logo on top of M15(which I like better anyway) M15 comes in 4K option as well, while S15 doesn't. S15 comes in 300 and M15 doesn't. You can't get anything higher than 2070 MaxQ on M15. Some part of chassis on M15 is made of plastic instead full aluminum like in S15. On M15, you can't turn off Optimus/GPU Switch. Wifi internet card is soldered in on M15 and you can't change/upgrade it in case you wanted to. Last thing... If Ram size is important when buying one of those... make sure to buy 32GB size because 16gb is soldered in. If you get 16GB version that means that only 8GB is soldered in (I wish that both ram slots were exchangeable like on other laptops making 64GB RAM max ion dual channel). No RGB keyboards on M15 Prism colors, but if you get black you will have RGB.
