    Honestly speaking, no one should ever buy a beginner board. Rent if you are unsure but don't ever waste your money on beginner boards. Only purchase the board that you want your abilities to get too and really like. It might challenge you initially but you will level up faster than what people might make you believe. You will outgrow a beginner after than you think.
    I have regretfully experienced that multiple times with motorcycles, snowboards so warning others to not waste their money 😄

      While this may be good advice for snowboards, I whole heartedly disagree about motorcycles. Beginners should always start on smaller bikes

    Wondering if I could get some help/advice? I’m wanna get back into snowboarding ( I use to when I was a bit younger ) now I’m turning 30 this year and was looking to get some info on board sizing. So based on my weight and shoe size ( about 215 and 11.5 shoe size my recommended board size is 161w. I mostly agree on the recommendation but I’m a little on the shorter end ( around 5’8” ) and was wondering is a 161w is the right size board. I’ve talked to other people and I keep getting a mixture. Some telling me that you have better control with a smaller board like a 157w. Just tryna get some advice especially now I can afford to buy a decent set up. Thanks in advance! Also any tips on bindings and boots as well helps a lot!

    I saw you have been on a few bataleon boards, I have a party wave and noticed that by about halfway through a day on a fresh wax it slows down and by the end of the day it it feels like I’m barely moving. Is this a problem you have seen, do you have a specific wax you would recommend to stop this? By the way I use blue bird blue wax and all my friends have switched to it because they love it so much.

      I don’t know if the party wave has a sintered base, but you might not be putting enough wax on

    • @brandonkang2509
      @brandonkang2509 Год назад +1

      Is dancehaul a beginner board? I borrowed a 152 dancehaul from a friend last year and I loved every second on it and felt completely in control. I've gone several times over the last few years but i'm not very confident so I still feel like a beginner. I was considering buying my own this year finally and going with that one but I wanted to look into other boards first so I didn't rush into anything. I'm 5'9 200lbs for reference. I'm in the gym so that weight is on the up right now but will go back down.

      @@AnonymousBoarderi dont see torsional flex being a great thing fpr beginners trying to work their edges out and linking turns as being a good starter board but im coming from a wakeboard background so that might be why.

      @@Bad_Riders Usually, softer torsional flex allows for easier independent steering of feet. Easier to pedal/pressure edge and therefore steer with front foot. Makes more sense intuitively for sideslipping and slower speed riding, a phase you may have skipped because wakeboarding
