The will do much better off the groomer and in powder compared to the custom. For ice the magantraction will do significantly better than the Bataleon Goliath. The 3BT raises the contact points away from the snow so you loose grip, where maganatraction give you more points to grip.

@@michael748the orca really shines in deep powder, don’t have to lean back and if you do it becomes extremely surfy. It’s so fun in the powder but I always grab a different board for all mountain/groomer riding.

Hello ! First thanks for the video ! I m a powerful rider, i ride fast. Love powder like carving but i also like doing simple tricks in the middle of my ride. Would you advice me to take the burton custom or the DOA ? I use to ride an old Alibi luxury edition from 2011 with a classic camber. The DEO seems to Be more polyvalent. What do you think ? And one last thing, what do you think of thé never summer triple camber easy ride 2024 ? Thank you.
I'm super conflicted between the LibTech Orca and the Burton custom. I've demoed the Orca but no shop has had the Custom available for demo. What differences can I expect between the two? I found the Orca to be super stable even at relatively high speeds for me (I hit my top speed 35 mph on the Orca)
Riding up the chair last season I saw my friend on his 156 Custom catch an edge and hit so hard his helmet flew apart. I researched it and found many riders "caught an edge" so if you get one my advice is to detune your contact points...
@@alexanderanghel7946I own a superpig as well and it’s my all time favorite ever! You’re right, it’s super fast and stable! It’s also nimble and can hold edge really well. I was looking in to getting an orca for tree runs, sometimes I feel the superpig is a little too fast for tight tree runs, do you find the orca better for tree runs when compared to the superpig?
True, my wife rides the psycho candy and prefers that over her orca, except in powder. I'd say the psychocandy is more of a pig board than the mountain pig.
I have the 2024 super DOA. I haven’t used it yet. I keep seeing reviews that the board is hard to ride. But I keep asking myself why a company would make a board that a lot of people find challenging… maybe my understanding of what an advanced snowboarder actually is would help.
I have the DOA, I don't think it's hard to ride, but it's just if you start getting lazy with your turns you can easily catch an edge. I got punished twice last year 😄
Stiffer full camber boards are considered harder to ride than softer boards with less camber. Been riding a DOA for years and have friends with the super and it will be my forever daily driver. Caught less edges riding my DOA than any lib tech or GNU
The DOA was my first board, coming from Burton LTRs. Quite a few reviews mentioned catchiness and needing a bit on your game to avoid the board trying to get you. I found nothing the like, even as a beginner. The Super DOA has the same shape, so it'll probably apply here, too.
Just letting you know most boards that are popular is likely because they do all the basic things good... It's important to develop a style and pick ur boards off of that, for example a DOA would be a very boring board for some
Too catchy on cat tracks and flat spots, it must be on a fair amount of edge or it will buck you off. It was great everywhere else but that was enough for me to get rid of it for a DOA.
which one do you prefer? i’m an intermediate/ advanced rider and i mostly just hit all the trails at the resort. i don’t really hit the park too much other than the smaller jumps and the box. i ski on the east coast as well if this helps your decision. i was thinking between one of the warpigs, doa, or maybe an orca but the orca seems more for powder ish snow. thanks man!

Just got a 2024 Capita DOA. I'm still between a beginner and intermediate, but I think I think I'll end up liking the board. I'll take a lesson when the season starts to help out.
Did you try it out yet!? How do you like it ?
Thank you.
Neither. Follow Angry Snowboarder.
Don’t ask questions. Watch and carefully listen to the top 5s in your preference.
I have the superpig and the orca and I prefer the superpig. I've gone almost 60mph. It's insanely stable at high speed and plows through weird spots.
Rode most of all of them it’s a toss up between the mercury and orca for me . DOA was great also
Can anyone teach me what is volume shift means?
shorter and wider, essentially.
Volume shifted means a wider board design which is meant to be ridden at a shorter length
Tis the season
I disagree on popularity just due the published number sales. However I agree with the list on a rider feedback scale
How about Mark McMorris's Burton Process? It's pretty popular too!
I have one. Never reach for it. Not stable enough at speeds nor is it great at carving. It has its pros but not for my style of riding
Very interesting, I have not personally owned any of these... maybe that says something about my taste in Snowboards haha
Aussie andreas the yes man… always making turns on the less beaten path. Love ya chuck! Dont change!!! 😁
Haha Thanks man, not planning on it!

AM ENJOYING YOUR VIDEOS IN INDIA..... ..I LOVE WATHCING YO VIDEOS MAN ,,...I WISH I COULD DO JUST LIKE THAT....
DOA and the rest! ❤
Burton boards for lifeeeee
For the pigs you didn't mention the phycocandy which is a pig board!
True, my wife rides the psycho candy and prefers that over her orca, except in powder. I'd say the psychocandy is more of a pig board than the mountain pig.
I own the super doa amazing board in the park love it
So cool!
What will you be riding this season?
I’ve got a few boards on the way! Will make a video when they arrive.
I started riding last year, and my 1st board is DOA, and I'm almost quite snowboarding..... too fast, too stiff
No such thing as too fast.
It’s def not hard to ride, it’s a very good all mountain twin. Prefer over mega.
The DOA was my first board, coming from Burton LTRs. Quite a few reviews mentioned catchiness and needing a bit on your game to avoid the board trying to get you. I found nothing the like, even as a beginner. The Super DOA has the same shape, so it'll probably apply here, too.
@@nicknz100I’m the same haha got the 2017 doa I love riding it but sometimes that little edge gets me haha
I love my Salomon dancehaul. Similar to a warpig but more flex
Dancehauls and warpigs are gay
I luv my WARPIG!!!
Awesome board!
Just letting you know most boards that are popular is likely because they do all the basic things good... It's important to develop a style and pick ur boards off of that, for example a DOA would be a very boring board for some
Based on what data? Any source?
Insider secrets 😉
It would’ve been nice to have the price range of all the boards shown but many of them had no price range stated.
Libtech Skate Banana!!!
That board was super popular but don’t see as many these days
Too catchy on cat tracks and flat spots, it must be on a fair amount of edge or it will buck you off. It was great everywhere else but that was enough for me to get rid of it for a DOA.
I guess got a good deal and bought my Burton Custom Camber for 520$ CAD 😎
The indoor survival slaps the DOA.

Happy with my superpig
DoA all Day!
I’m
Shocked the Burton Custom was not the most popular board.
Da Italia 🇮🇹
❤
i got both warpig and doa !
which one do you prefer? i’m an intermediate/ advanced rider and i mostly just hit all the trails at the resort. i don’t really hit the park too much other than the smaller jumps and the box. i ski on the east coast as well if this helps your decision. i was thinking between one of the warpigs, doa, or maybe an orca but the orca seems more for powder ish snow. thanks man!
i sold the warpig and kept the DOA
I don't have any of these, but i also like to try more non popular boards to be fair. however, i can see why these are popular
Just got a capita birds of a feather lessssss goooooooo
Good choice!
All of these boards are amazing, but 90% of riders aren't good enough to justify buying one. I compare it to a grandma driving a Ferrari
Warrrrpiiiigggggg
Superpigggg!
