Can I just say I love Anders as a host? His sass is everything
“Anders Norberg - King of Sass”
Morgan singlehandedly winning immunity is my V I B E
That was a BRUTAL blindside, but Liam was my fav guy left so this sucks emotionally. At this rate, Doug deserves the win. I was never rooting for him but I think it's clear now (if it wasn't already) that he's playing on another level that none of these other players even hope to reach. Which is sad from a viewing standpoint since I don't think the season will be interesting if Doug steamrolls and wins but I think it's the most likely outcome. Although credit where credit is due to Santi for being the one to bring up taking out Liam to Doug, even if Doug was already thinking it.
Some other notes:
- Morgan continues to be iconic and I really really hope she survives to the merge
- Getting a break not hearing from Dain this episode was refreshing (sorry Dain!)
- I would LOVE to see a Mike/Abbie duo come together and do some damage; maybe they could pull in Dale Aram? Sadly, I don't think that's possible. Abbie doesn't seem to have a big strategic pulse and Dale Aram - though I love her character - is still for whatever reason taking residence in Doug's anal cavity
Morgan is a queen, just to let y'all know!
And ouch, the edit is making the recent boots hurt that much harder. The game is getting emotional, and you can see the intensity in the boot's eyes in several of the confessionals this episode, including, sadly, his last one.
Doug and Santi really are running the show, but I have to believe that people will come after them soon after merge.
Looking forward to seeing what Erin has to say about her beloved in the aftershow!
Morgan has been the highlight of the season so far from me. Great personality and has a good head for the game
I don't even like Doug but everyone deserves to lose to him, considering that everyone is playing his game
Well except the people who voted with Liam tonight, though they were fixated on Josh
Abbie starting to get some visibility. Can't wait for her to continue the dean kowalski trajectory & become fan favorite of the season.
Abbie woke up and said "I am now going to be a bad bitch"
this is just getting better and better!! Ugh, Morgan is so funny. I love her. Can we be friends?
3:25 -- BEEN THERE.

Man, rough episode for Liam but what an ep for Santi and Doug. They keep steamrolling and it's incredibly impressive but I can't help but think they will face some obstacles come the merge. While the boot order thus far has been pretty sucky seeing a lot of early faves go out early, there's definitely a lot more to come and I'm really excited to see what happens next :)
So this time I clicked fast so the top comments wouldn't spoil me but my recommended videos showed the aftershow with Liam talking to the three of you. 😂😂😂 oh well
Guess we gotta go full screen in the future
Doug and Santi are so impressive damn. I hope they don’t steamroll the merge but right now I can’t believe Doug can make everything work his way and set himself up so well. I’m glad a power player went out premerge, it gives more people opportunities to get more screentime
Morgan is the best character of this season by far, with her only competition being Eric who went too soon sadly. I'm a sucker for ice queens in Survivor and she's been a great one since her awesome opening confessional in the premiere, I love her. Really hope the Courtney Yates of the season is in it for the long haul. But Anders has done us dirty the past 4 weeks in a row with the premature departures of Evan, Eric, Jasmine, and now Liam. The first season of Maryland in a while where it really feels like no one is truly safe. Great pre-merge so far! Hopefully, it doesn't give in to the Ghost Island syndrome and run out of steam too early with all these big players going before merge though. I just want someone to take control away from Doug, Sadie, and Santi before it's too late!
Can't wait to take her out next week! Kidding...or am I?
@@survivormarylandgen2852 Idk anymore and that's what makes me sad
What a blindside really love Doug's puppet mastery
Doug is on route to being a top college survivor player dude is insane
“I assumed the middle was filler aside from Emma Watson getting hot” 😂
Ok now I’m just mad, Liam was my favorite since ep 1
not an evil gremlin cabbage patch lmaoooooo. but sigh this season is really not going how i want it to :'((
Only at the theme song but wow I just became a Liam stan
LOL awful timing @ me
well-
That Liam blindside was crazy and it hurt to see. Great episode :') I'm playing catch up today since the finale happened yesterday.
All the faves getting slayed :(. And all for Doug...
37:57 damn the villains' laughter and glee here
another sad episode. obviously, liam should have taken jasmine, his closest ally, getting voted out as a sign that santi was completely against him instead of waiting until the next week. unfortunately he moved 5 miles an hour while santi and doug were moving at 20 miles an hour. he needed to rack up the votes for santi's roommate doug-- should've convinced mike, abbie, and josh.
doug is on another level, game-wise. he has all the right strategic instincts and foresight and the social wherewithal and strength to make them come to fruition and be successful. hoping someone can successfully take out doug, santi, and sadie but it really seems like there's no one else left in this cast that matches their strategic/social skills and positioning, although i expect 1-2 of them to go out after the merge (and the other to take the win).
highlight of the episode: morgan racking up those balls at the immunity challenge!!!! love her and hope she somehow goes far. i also hope the next episode is the merge and something unexpected happens (instead of ange, morgan, etc just being picked off)
all my faves keep getting voted out smh i thought this season would be good from the first few eps
I don't understand this perspective that because my favorites did poorly therefore the season is bad.
@@lemurwrench6344 well its not just that but its the power structure staying the same .. doug sadie santi continue to get what they want back to back weeks and anyone that would make a move against them is taken out
Man, another episode and another of my favorites goes out. 3 rough episodes in a row for me. Liam was I think a great strategist but just got unlucky how the swap broke out dividing his allies and having Doug's control taking him out as a threat and his closer allies.
At this point, I feel like Doug and Santi just solidify their position even more, mainly Doug. I feel like they are probably the 2 most skilled players and in back to back weeks took out 2 of their biggest threats leaving mostly players that either have bad reads on the game so far or have too much trust indebted into them that I think Doug has this mainly wrapped up with outside chances of Santi. I think Sadie or Tim also have a shot as they appear to be the closest allies to Doug and if by a miracle people go for that Doug-Santi connection I feel Santi would be first and if Doug goes out after then they reap the benefits of being in power positions but not the biggest targets.
I feel like the last 2 weeks were key as Jasmine and Liam appeared to be the best hope of building a counter resistance against the Doug side. Now, I feel like the other players are too scattered to build an opposing alliance or have too much trust in Doug or someone adjacent to him ala Amanda to Tim that I feel like it is near impossible for the tables to be turned.
I feel like the core of Doug, Santi, Sadie, Tim and Amanda are probably going further with Santi a potential target if people want to break up Doug-Santi. Dain and Dale Aram (Abbie by proxy with her connection to Dale Aram) will probably be in for a rude awakening when they are voted out not realizing they are not in the core. Josh, Ange, Morgan and Mike I predict are 4 likely boots coming up as they appear to be on the outs and I think the thing they have in common is being closer to Santi. I could see a proxy war where Doug and Santi try and cut off the pieces of the other players (Doug has Sadie/Tim/Amanda/Dain/Dale Aram-Abbie and Santi has Josh/Ange/Mike/Morgan moreso) and I feel Doug with his connections is more likely to win out that proxy war and have his allies move further than Santi.
Hoping for some kind of major shift but time will tell.
Favorites.
1. Santi
2. Dale Aram
3. Ange
4. Tim
5. Morgan
6. Dain
Winner Contenders:
1. Doug
2. Santi
3. Tim
4. Sadie
5. Dale Aram
ahhh. tragic boot order continues. Ange, Morgan, Abbie, Delaram & Mike F5 let's go underdogs.
I don't get why Liam didn't play the advantage.
They just did a really good job convincing him he was safe I guess. Plus he thought it was everyone against Josh so with the knowledge he had, what's the point, ya know?
(J)AM being so upset and Liam being so angry about Jasmine getting voted out was sweet < 3
Josh :' stop trusting them!
She did not backstab you Santi, that'd be if she voted for YOU out, not Dain.
MORGAN COMPBEAST
Some peoples comments about this season is why TV Survivor gives players undeserved purple or negative edits - because a lot of the viewing audience can't handle their favorites getting wiped out early. I like when anyone can be voted out, and sometimes the people you're rooting against wins - which makes it so much sweeter when the opposite happens.
Yup ange and Morgan r winning
Team Mike
Not gonna lie, I didn't like him for the first few episodes as he definitely came off like the typical egotistic alpha male stereotype which I hate. But the past couple episodes in particular he has surprised me from a character perspective, he's been growing on me. He clearly has a really good social game despite the blindside tonight and he's actually really funny. I loved his confessional about the Harry Potter movies. I really hope he doesn't just become a massive dick and sulk too much after this though which based on the preview, is possible. Because then I'll take all this back lol.
Me: starts to like someone
them: goes home
daily reminder amanda sucks.
GO MIKE/ABBY/ANGE/MORGAN
