I really enjoyed the person that went home this week. Great player, brought the strategy, the entertainment, the physicality. All around what we desperately need in the real show.

Also, I know the McQuad got a lot of hate, but I genuinely do think Miranda is a really fun character and wouldn’t mind seeing her on All Stars or something. Partially because it would be funny to see any of the McQuad become the thing they hate most…a returner.

Doug made a great point... playing this game with Jay S is like playing with the previous version of himself... this season is by FAR the best Gen 2 season!
Agreed definaltey the best of the 3. The other gen 2 seasons weren’t the best especially the Doug season.

Yes Jay s calling Miranda out at the end was uncalled for however I still consider those 4 my favorites
But Jay S saying at the end jokingly calling Miranda a happy birthday biatch was kinda uncalled for even if it was joking. I still consider Jay S my favorite though as well as the other 3
RANKING of my favorites this season:
Jay S - legenddddd! He's playing a great game, but I'm very worried about him getting to the finals. He also never disappoints in bringing the entertainment, so I'm rooting for him.
Katie - She's a queen, she's slaying!! And now she's a queen with an idol. Katie and Jay S are my favorites this season! One of them needs to win!
Jacq - Love her, and would love to see what she can do from the bottom now.
Eric - He needs to play his own game and make standout moves in order to win. I want to see him get there!
Doug - He's doing a lot of great things. But he also needs to eventually make some standout moves.
Miranda - Birthday Biatch Queen. I feel bad that she was voted out like that on her birthday, but she high key deserved that. She played awfully.
Sam, Morgan - great characters, but not doing a whole lot in terms of effecting the gameplay.
Tony - Bruh, what are you doin? Played this week so badly.
-Spoilers. I’m working on ranking every Maryland/Michigan season with lengthy write-ups for each that I hope to finish by the end of the summer and this season will be ranked rather high I believe.
-Eye for an Eye aka Sammurabi’s Code
-It’s a big week! 5 Majesta, 4 returnees, Jay S and Michaela potentially free agents and Miranda’s removal idol to potentially squash any rock draw dreams.
-Katie and Doug have to be closing in on Schuble’s total days played record. Leah has the Michigan record at 192 Days.
-Sam random idol lie! Micheala in very interesting spot of being swing but not really comfortable with either side. Kudos to Morgan for eventually bringing her in after the challenge.
-The Katie/Eric friendship is similar to Pascal/Katie in S3 but with Katie’s role reversed. Would Eggroll take her to the Final 3?
-Touchy Subjects! Before the challenge was introduced you could see the colored answer cards next to Katie in her confessionals. Maquad lost even though they were playing with color-coded name cards all season.
-Fun from the challenge: Doug most likable (obv), Tony most attractive (Santi got that one last season, just saying), Morgan playing the challenge really well, everyone laughing at Jay S. Clutch win by Micheala to bring herself into a safer position; she reminds me a lot of S3 Holli.
-Liked Anders reading out all the answers; Jacq was in Doug’s position in S7 of getting all the power questions. Maquad really let that challenge slip away from them, and also the entire game.
-Jay S mixes up Micheala and Miranda’s names, just like I have in these blurbs all season long. Last week Miranda won a challenge on Micheala’s birthday, who received votes at Tribal and this week Michaela won a challenge near Miranda’s birthday, who received votes at Tribal.
-Beautiful full circle moment of Micah lending a shovel to Katie to help her find her first idol. Currently the only people to find hidden immunity idols hidden by Anders are Dylan, Doug, and Maryland’s two female winners (there’s also Eggroll’s failed Friendship idol and Miranda’s failed Removal Idol).
-Sherry, Jay S, and Doug meet for a Fan Favorites Lunch
-Katie is called “Roasted Lamb” on Tony’s chat. I don’t know what Katie calls Tony but it probably contains several expletives.
-Both strategy segments before and after the challenge were so meaty and well-done the tribal came out of nowhere. Wow, no removal by Miranda! This is the third time this season a Game Changer has been misplayed by someone the comment section has called a Queen (Faith/Swap, Jess/Mutiny).
-RIP Maquad, what a great Majority Alliance, they’ve brought the drama, comedy, and strategy all season. Miranda played very well, I could’ve sworn she was a senior. Jacq may have lost her #1 ally but having a huge advocate early on in the jury could pay off in the long run.
-The game’s about to be blown wide-open next week. I think for the first time we might see a returnee cast a vote against a returnee.

This isn't a read but Tony is the epitome of someone who'd do well on College Survivor and flop playing with strangers.

Wow what an episode. Michaela winning Immunity I was so happy. Katie is dominating this episode. I'm glad Egg Roll survived at Tribal Council. Wow Jay S calling out Miranda when she was voted out on her birthday, definitely wasn't on my bingo card this episode. Hopefully Michaela survived a couple more votes to activate her legacy game changer advantage. I love how the players were bantering each other once they got eliminated during the Immunity Challenge, that was pure entertainment. Sam is floated her way in this game, when will they realize that Sam was playing the game when they aren't noticing it, it could make everyone scrambling if they don't take Sam out sooner rather later. I enjoyed Katie and Tony scenes together. I love Michaela, Morgan, and Katie's scene. Santi in the background. What a shame that Eric got eliminated in the first round of the Immunity Challenge. These questions and answers during the Immunity Challenge was something else. I didn't know that Gemstone Honors Program wasn't a hard program to get accepted at the University of Maryland. Sam getting 2nd place in the Immunity Challenge was impressive. I'm glad Michaela gave Morgan the Idol Clue. Yes Katie found her first hidden immunity idol on Survivor Maryland. I'm really enjoying Jacq. Yes Queen Sherry making a cameo appearance in this episode, my heart was melting when that happened. The returnees questioning Jay S has all the returnees scrambling. Katie saying Tony is Dylan 6.0 was so on point and she has been killing it in the confessionals. Birthday a shout-out to Miranda in this episode. Miranda getting voted out was a blindside and leaving her idol removal game changer advantage in her pocket I'm looking forward to seeing what's going to happen in next week's episode.
The person voted out was not very likeable, and yet, I was oddly fascinated by them. They were so unapologetically stank and aggressive in their gameplay. They were giving old-school, a great run. However, Sam's karma strikes.

Katie would do incredibly well on the real show - her social game is incredible. She also has Tony completely pegged - he's a whiner who gets upset when things don't go his way. Hope she wins, hope he's next to go.
