Wowwwww, best episode of the season! This season is getting realllly good! Confused about if the move was good though.
Dude, what a great episode. Even though the season isn't over I think Katie is one of the best Survivor Maryland players of all time.
My jaw was left dropped for like 5mins after this episode.
Great idol play but i feel like it wasn't the ideal player to knock out with it but hopefully they prove me wrong.
This has been some top tier college survivor! Great cast great gameplay great challenges
Spoilers my winner pick has to be jacq now bc of the editing talking about her goals as a checklist with the last goal being “win the game” but I’m rooting for Katie An and Jay S bc who doesn’t love an underdog story:)
Katie having her newbie rats spill to her the vote and then putting a plan together within seemingly the span of 10 minutes proves exactly why shes won this game before
A lot of surprises this episode

-Man, after how great she’s playing this season imagine Katie on Maryland All-Stars-she probably wouldn’t have done as well with the presence of the SohCahTrio and her win still fresh in everyone’s mind (look at Pascal) but it would’ve been entertaining.
-Surprised Anders went with pink buffs for the merge, I would’ve retired them in honor of Baesqwaad. Merge at 13 means that the returnees will never have a majority in the jury, even if the Final 3 is three newbies.
-I loved the newbies meeting on the floor of some random hallway. It was interesting structurally to begin with two big group meetings and then have many 1v1 conversations for the rest of the episode.
-Eric provides for the tribe a la Ozzy and that’s where the similarities between the two players end. Eric gives the dumplings but steals the bacon, he is sneaky good at that challenge. I liked how fast-paced it was edited…didn’t drag on too long.
-Jay S reminds me of Tony Vlachos of all people the way he tries to mend bridges after every vote and still wants to work with someone he’s backstabbed 100 times; and the other person kinda agrees!
-Team Jacq steamrolls 6-0 and Sam/Tony lose their sixth challenge of the season. To be fair to Morgan I also would’ve picked Team Dylan to win.
-Voting Jess was probably the right call; the 8 newbies are all on the same page this week whereas Jess definitely would’ve thrown a spanner in the works.
-Morgan and Doug both turn on the jets to avoid elimination; it was great seeing those two’s social games in action after being dormant on dominant Sababa for so long.
-In this episode, there’s a confessional of Katie walking after talking to Jay S that is almost identical to one from E5.
-Maquaad is strong thinking together as a unit but their Achilles’ heel might be these 1-on-1 conversations, especially with a lot of returnees who are great at them like Katie and Doug. It almost feels like they could’ve figured out the Morgan vote without Andrew telling them.
-Cameos by Victoria and some guy! Victoria still cashing Survivor Maryland royalty checks in 2024.
-This episode felt like a lot of Maryland history coming back into the fold: the roommate talk of last season, Dylan’s idol trouble, Pascal telling Evan to play his idol in S4E8.
-WOW Dylan plays correctly and Andrew goes home! Unreal. Andrew was my winner pick because he seemed to be playing both sides well but that mutiny last week worked out real bad for him (and Jess). I have no idea who wins this season now.
-Not sure Andrew was the best vote for the returnees, as he was the newbie most likely to vote with them. Fish and Michaela are now swing votes and are also really screwed: do you side with the alliance that will pick you off at seven or five people that you could never beat at tribal?
Survivor Maryland always delivers and this episode was no exception! Katie using the info Andrew gave her to vote him off, keep the majesta 5 as an obvious target, and get Dylan to use his idol on someone else! Katie is going to be Sandra and win 2X!!!

Blindsided!!! Wow Andrew going??? ANDREW??? Was not expecting that at all!!!
Returnees returning back to the game. We love to see it. Newbies made it returnees vs newbies.
Sucks to see Andrew go cuz I liked him and Jess on original Sababa. Happy he made jury though.
I have high hopes for Jacq my wp with the list being brought back.
Overall great tribal to be honest! Happy Dylan played the idol on Morgan. Katie’s ruthless but that’s why we love her right? Good job as always Maryland team.
Even though I missed tonight's episode. After I rewatched the episode, I really enjoyed it. Queen Morgan made it further than she did on Major Conflicts. I feel like Morgan should be more involved with the strategy of the game, I do understand she has personal commitments she needs to handle. I love the scenes with Doug, Katie, Dylan, and Eric; I wish Morgan was there tho. I'm so excited Steal the Bacon is back, a true Survivor Maryland Challenge Classic. Poor Morgan for not being selected, why is Morgan getting screwed. The 2 roommates of Tony and Andrew in a challenge on a team together is no surprise. The girls were dominating in the challenge. Wow Jay S was so fast in Steal the Bacon, that might be the fastest I ever seen since Chris LeCompte played Steal in the Bacon for the 2 seasons. Wow that was a blowout from Jacq's Team. Jay S beating Tony was hilarious like Miranda said. Never put all your votes on one person since anybody can play the hidden immunity idol at any time, I would rather split the votes. I'm so happy Doug didn't get a single vote at tribal council. I love the AA Alliance scene of Katie and Eric. I'm wondering why target Andrew and not Tony. Yay we got Michaela and Katie & Katie and Jacq scene. Queen Katie spitting some facts. I love the Katie and Dylan Scene. Katie's fake game changer advantage was creative. Getting rid of Morgan wouldn't make sense, she's not a threat by any means. Getting rid of one of the MaQuad will have them scramble into shambles. I'm looking forward to next week's episode.

It’s kinda funny watching Doug play without a built in preseason alliance because it really shows he’s kinda not that good at all, he’s been just bumbling around on the bottom all season lol. The underlying JR and Katie feud is carrying I think they’re both gonna be scrambling next week. Great ep!
