I'm looking forward to tonight's episode. With Dylan voted out at the last Tribal Council, how will the returnees survive? Will any game changers or idols be played in this episode? I'm looking forward to seeing more content on Michaela, will she survive; we shall see. I'm looking forward to seeing how this episode will shake up.

@@chrisgroves8891 I'm not one of the players nor part of the club of Survivor Maryland. I'm just a super fan who enjoyed CBS Survivor and College Survivor as of recently since I didn't know about College Survivor until last Summer. But a great question.

It's basically the same logic that had them agreeing to mutiny into a minority position pre-merge just so they could weaken the returners. They bought into the newbie-returner narrative that Maquad sold them so hard that they ended up valuing it more than their own self-interest.

This is the most engrossed I’ve ever been watching college Survivor. What a fire episode!!!!!

Fish and Michaela just waited too long to make a move. They should have played the middle earlier to take a shot at Majesta and that would’ve put them in a power position. Good play by the returnees to sow chaos within the newbies! Still rooting for Katie to pull a Sandra!

JayS had the play - let Fish & MIchaela vote Eggroll, Sam and the trio do whatever, and liaise thru Doug to get the returners to vote Jaq and join them for a 5 vote plurality. That would have been absolute chef's kiss stuff - but i suspect more opportunities shall come for who knows what!

Damn. What I great episode!! All I can think about now though is how Sam has an intense fear of balloons. I appreciated that character development.
THAT SHIT WAS CRAZY!!! WOW!!! The last 25 minutes I was screaming, I was crying, I was cheering! Epic!
That tribal was GAGGY. Also I’ll kinda miss Fish. I found him very attractive for some weird reason.

Jay S, love him or hate him, the guy brings it!! He's got those killer reads and now that he's on the bottom, I'm curious what he'll do next. Excited for his epic downfall or epic rise to power.

I love this episode. Congrats to Miranda for winning Immunity. Katie yelling at Anders during the Immunity Challenge was the highlight of this episode. I love the returnees scene. I don't blame Sam for wanting to forfeit the Immunity Challenge since she is afraid of balloons which I had no idea. Birthday shout-out to Michaela in this episode. Fish is boring in my opinion. Tony, Jacq, and Miranda are the MaQuad Power Trio that we need. We need a girl's alliance to happen. The Jay S and Katie feud needs to happen more often. A big move needs to happen to create a resume to win this game. Fish is a bigger threat than Michaela. I'm so happy Michaela survived. Yay we got a Sherry cameo at the end of the episode. The chaos at Tribal Council was pure entertainment. I love the argument between Sam and Miranda, and then Jay S and Michaela and Fish. I'm looking forward to next week's episode.
Such a well built and followed fight, the editing for the Tony Jay S phone call was especially fun. The whole sequence from Katie nopeing out of the hallway pre-fight before the camera could even pan to her to Jay S pantomiming at Michaela at tribal council only to get pie on his face I was basically on my feet laughing my ass off the whole time. And Sam justifiably cursing out 2 of her closest allies in the 20 minutes she devoted to the game that week is so fucking funny.
The episode was great from the beginning too seeing so many unique and conflicting motives in the game. Katie lying on Fish to Jay S was fun to further flame. I liked that Jay S finally became aware of his position this week, his character as at its most interesting when he’s ridiculous but socially keened in. I think it’s looks like Doug’s interests are veering away from Katie too, but the Doug/Jay S really have no numbers since Michaela and Sam (who are both fighting with Jay S) are the only others that aren’t a direct tight allie of Katie or Tony.
Appreciate Anders exposing the whack line judge for balloon pop with the slomo, would’ve been robbery if Michaela went out that round. And respect to Fish for throwing names on the way out, was shocked how much fire he brought in his exit. The Michaela/Fish pair are rightfully getting some flack for being slow to see Majesta really did turn but to be fair to them it was quite a proactive move to as Jacq said “flip on the bottom”.
Probably my favorite Anders era episode (Major Conflict finale also in contention, dark but fascinating). Just like All Stars (my favorite survivor season bar none) after a fun buildup early merge, these episodes have flipped a switch in the mid game and we’re getting round after round of gold!

Spoilers. I watched this ep in a Minneapolis park on a beautiful day and was going absolutely crazy at the end, hooting and hollering.
-Sam rules man she’s so funny; I don’t understand why she’s not more popular while The Fans went bananas over Lucy in Michigan S2, they’re basically the same player.
-Michaela is underrated too; if you ranked every Gen 2 player in terms of how hard they’ve played wouldn’t she be in the top third percentile?
-Despite the big alliance this season has been very fluid: no returnees have gone out back-to-back and the only back-to-back newbies were Jess and Andrew.
-I love how color coordinated Maquad is at 15:24: Jacq in white, Tony in yellow, Jay S in red, Michaela in blue.
-Balloon stomp is my favorite challenge that is exclusive to college Survivor-I was hoping Michaela would win the balloon challenge on her birthday.
-“This is like, symbolic of the game.”
-The ghosts of Ajay and Chidi are smiling down on Sam, prior to Tribal the Blood Drive Lady had more screen time than her.
-The game is getting so crazy Miranda almost can’t use her idol, every vote counts. That spot under the lamp with the bees actually would be a sick spot to hide an idol, Maryland Season 24 take note.
-People are once again giving Doug all the information. I think Doug really likes playing on this season even though he’s in a significantly worse spot-the drama isn’t on him and he just gets to play.
-My favorite scene of the season is Michaela and Fish fighting for their lives in the hallway while randos keep walking through the circle; those showed some fire with their back against the wall. Their conversation with Jay S was reminiscent of Holli yelling at Chris Thomas in All-Stars.
-Sam’s “I’m still gonna be sitting here” to immune Michaela was in the trailer and finally appears in E10! That has to be a record for Survivor trailers.
-I can’t imagine being Andrew and Dylan watching this batshit crazy Tribal Council and the newbies going down in flames. Fish was everything you’d want out of a supporting character-compare him and Michaela to like Josh, Abbie, Dale Aram, Tim, etc. last season. I wouldn’t mind seeing Fish back in the water for S10.
-It’s now 6 girls v 4 guys, just saying. There have now been 3 male boots in a row, 4 straight male boots has happened twice in Maryland history: S3 (Kanay-Alex G-King-Harry) and S6: (Tony-Swale-Don-Keval)
-For the College Survivors I watched like it’s been Maryland S7 and Michigan S4, S5, and S6. I enjoyed all of those but watching a classic like this one live hits different.

Eric/Eggroll - The ultimate underdog this season. I hope he can get into driver seat with Katie since the newbies are crumbled
JS - LOVE THIS CRAZY GUY (still). He has controlled the entire game low key from start till now. Very curious to see what he'll do now since he was blindsided. His rope may be ending though cause everyone is over him. I think it was smart of him to get Fish and Michaela away from everyone cause they were trying to flip the vote onto him.
Morgan - Loved her line about the snakey snake snakes (Sababa newbies) who betrayed them for their other snakes (JS).
Fish and Michaela - they played this so badly....
Katie - She's reigning each and every week. Looks like she'll last a few more votes for sure.
Tony, Miranda, Jac - OKAY... if youre going to leave JS out of the vote, you should've voted himout. Bad move, that guy needs to feel like he's control. I wouldve turned on JS if i was them too, but not yet and not this way.
Doug - He's also growing nicely. I like his alliance with JS, which may pay him dividends if he plays this right. I want to see him be even more activo.
Sam - My legend, allstar, my hero.
Not understanding the true game state cost Fish, all this time we have been needing a majesta noobie out and they still have failed to do it. I hope that can occur next.

i fear I will not be able to really blindly support JS anymore if his loyalty is really being dumped into DOUG.
Katie FTW obviously though I'm really starting to enjoy miranda more and more.
I liked Sam early on but she's kind of serving no purpose and if she survives longer will just stifle the gameplay, thought she was a bit ridic. at tribal

it is very interesting to see Jay S when he does actually think he's at the bottom rather than pretending, and the balloon thing as I mentioned was very poetic for this ep

@@marcjamesweber1996 Thank you, I really appreciate it! So I wanted Michaela out because Miranda told me that she wanted me out. So when Michaela and Fish barged our meeting and declared that everyone should vote for me instead, I wanted to get my name out of their mouths immediately and get them away from the group. I stayed with Fish and Michaela until the vote so they couldn't flip the vote onto me. If I had left Fish and Michaela alone with the group, the vote could've definitely flipped onto me.
When talking with Fish and Michaela, I felt conflicted about who should go: Michaela or a returnee (who wasn't Doug). I definitely wanted to decrease the returnee's number, but I also felt like I couldn't fully trust Michaela even after talking to her and clearing the air. I definitelty wanted Fish to stay though because I was hoping to work with him moving forward. I was shocked when Fish got voted out because Maquad told me it was going to be Michaela. Let me know if I can answer anything else for you!
