Actually, he said in the post game interview that he had to spend some time with his coaching team during the break to review the tactics for the second half, and it was the team Captain (Hjulmand) that was screaming to the team to wake up. But thats another great thing about Amorim, he knows how to build a team and how to delegate responsabilities, like all great leaders. While he reviewed the tactics, the captain (who also scored our amazing second goal), did the team talk and motivation.

I've loved watching all the sporting matches since Amorim was under Utd's radar. All been absolutely amazing to watch. I'm actually sad that i won't be able to watch any more sporting games with Amorim in charge.

United fan here. That Hujlmand goal was as good as the one Ronaldo famously scored against Porto in the Champions League all those years ago. While Morita's goal started the comeback, but for me, it was Hujlmand's goal that really sparked confidence and belief in the Sporting team because every goal, including that very goal, was from outside the box. Phenomenal mentality and confidence from the team. What a game to follow. While Amorim brought a bit of spotlight onto the Portuguese club game again since, I have always been a huge admirer of Portuguese, Spanish, Italian and Latin American football, which the English Premier League fans sre totally unaware of. Pure talent, full of technically gifted players who play football how it's supposed to be played, producing some of the best talents in world football in terms of players and managers alike.
Wow, I adore this new team birthed by Amorim👏. So sad to see him get snatches away mid season. They will need him for more important clashes against Porto and Benfica not to talk of the one against Arsenal. Regardless, the team defied odds and won this game. Reminds me of the former shadow of Bayer Leverkusen. Big kudos to them. 🤜 I hope they can continue to replicate such performances when needed. And not buckle under pressure after Amorim's departure.

tambem fiquei com a ideia, mas no juizo final da sportv mostram um angulo em que o quenda claramente faz falta, se não era golo é muito provável que fosse penalty.
É falta do Quenda, ou anulava e dava penalty e amarelo ao Quenda ou então deixava jogar, como fez.
Não há lei da vantagem em penalties, se é penalty tinha que assinalar. Todo o jogo foi critério dulpo, não venham com estórias para boi dormir!

Because United Said it had to be now, and he was already leaving sporting at the end of the season as he rightly believed the Premier league teams will raid Sporting at the end of the season, he rebuilded two Sporting teams, its obvious he realized the only way he can build a team to last long term is in the Premier league.
