I'm looking forward to tonight's episode. Will Eric "Egg Roll" or Dylan use the Mutiny Advantage and will Miranda use the Tribe Swap Advantage in this episode or will it be used in another time? I'm looking forward to seeing more confessionals from Michaela since she was shown a lot in the last episode. I'm looking forward to seeing the dynamic of Katie, Jess, Morgan, and Michaela to evolve since having a girls alliance on the Sababa Tribe was needed last episode. Hope we see more confessionals from Sam in this episode. How will Dylan fix all of the chaos that happened last episode into this episode after Winik was voted out, we will find out in tonight's episode. I'm looking forward to seeing Andrew and Jacq as well. This episode will be exciting to watch.

aaaaaah no mike and eric literally had the power to (probably) save themselves and blew it 😢. eric’s chris thomas journey starts next week i can feel it.
jay s is so so good for entertainment but sheesh to be his ally seems like a stressful time.
there really should be a “reserved for katie” sign on one of the seats at final tribal, absolute masterclass so far.

I have loved Eric Eggroll since his first season, I loved how he stood his ground against the evil force against him. Glad he survived and can keep fighting. The other side's vets had it so easy, That Mutiny will change things around.
It's sad to see the returnees leave but it's nice to know the newbies came to play, ya know? I'm liking the season so far.
Legendary tribal. Proud of eggroll. He made a crucial blunder by not playing the mutiny, but made up for it with the fake advantage.
Also…. Wow Mike has to feel awful. I’m shocked the other returnees discouraged Mike and eggroll from playing the mutiny. Mike going out is bad for all of them

I couldn't watch the episode live this time due to a final but solid episode I think. I'm definitely a big fan of the AA Alliance because I love both Eric and Katie.
I honestly liked Eric's play with the suicide bomb haha. I'm not sure I would believe a game changer like that but still made for entertaining TV.
Sad Mike went and didn't make merge again :(. I am excited for the mutiny to be hopefully used next episode.

Well another great episode. I love the Andrew and Katie's scene. I love the AA Alliance of Katie and Eric. I love that we got an early confessional of Michaela. I wish we got more scenes of Morgan since she was not shown in this episode. Fish is playing a crazy game, he definitely brought chaos in the last episode when Sababa Tribe went to tribal council that Winik got voted out. I feel like you should never share the fact that you have a game changer advantage since chances are you will be a target no matter what happens. I love Eric's honesty in this episode. Jacq and Miranda are the swing vote for the Majesta Tribe Tribal Council. I love the feud with Jay S and Eric. Sad to see Mike get voted out, now we will see how Eric will survive on his own. I think the Mutiny Advantage will be played in the next episode. I'm looking forward to next week's episode.

-With Eggroll becoming Last Eric Standing, I will now call him “Eric” in these posts, as God intended.
-Katie completely controlling the vote and having Doug and Dylan wrapped around her fingers, she reminds me of Game Changers Sandra in that they were both great winners previously but didn’t necessarily flash the total strategic mastery they’re showing now.
-Michaela and Fish forgot about Fish’s phone because they both give so many confessionals the camera just disappears.
-It’s snowing in this episode and it’s snowing outside my apartment, I think that’s God’s way of saying “Cool blog, man.” Oh shittt is that S7 Josh in the green hat at 8:08????
-Both tribe dynamics are super interesting and both are handling their returnees in vastly different ways; I think Andrew and Jess having positive relationships with theirs is going to pay off big time down the line.
-Katie marries her second returnee of the season by choosing Eric during The Bachelorette, that whole scene she describes sounds so wholesome, I wish there was footage.
-Trouble in the Maquad war room; Jay S unbelievably got himself in the best spot in his tribe this week; that Faith lie they told Mike/Eric makes everyone in that alliance except Jay S look like bad players.
-NO MUTINY! Eric Noooooo! Between the swelling music and the symmetry of Sherry going home in the same episode Katie teased the first AA, I thought this was it for our boy. -The eggs they were tossing was Balut they didn’t get to eat last week because Majesta won the challenge so fast. Miranda is like four inches taller than Mike.
-No mercy from Maquad, trying to take the mutiny from Eric’s cold dead hands. The fact that it could be transferred probably saved Eric as they were probably more nervous about Mike jumping ship. If it couldn’t be transferred they definitely would’ve voted Eric out.
-You know, Maquad probably could use a swap to get some fresh air, take a break from each other, and get more options before the merge hits. That tribal had the energy of a Final 7 and there’s still fourteen damn people left.
-Eric finally said the “Dirty Plays” line! Then shows his hilariously OP Suicide Bomb fake advantage. I kind of want a college Survivor to use that now just to read the comment section.
-Eric’s time with Jay S has been so miserable I bet even he is yearning for Doug’s smiling face on Sababa. Making the merge would be a great victory in Eric’s constantly struggling Survivor story.
-Farewell, Pre-Merge Mike; he was way more affable and trusting of a guy then he looked at first glance. It’s gotta sting knowing that he basically played identical games back-to-back. Maybe he should’ve started on the bottom of an alliance, can’t get backstabbed if you’re on the bottom!
-This week in I’m a Genius: I actually like Mike’s winning chances because in a group pic of the S8 after-party on the Survivor Maryland FB page Mike is front and center wearing a golden lei. (I used this same airtight logic to deduce that Andrew was going to win Michigan All-Stars).

Been catching up on the season and haven't had time to comment the long amounts I have before but just had to say as a fellow AA and as a big fan of Eggroll since his OG season and of the greatness that is Katie, I could not be more in on an alliance and hoping we see them make it far!

Eggroll with his fake drag advantage effectively saved himself and i think guaranteed that, if M&J didnt join him and Mike in voting out Jay S, at least Mike would be the one voted out instead of him (he could himself have voted for Mike, but needed to vote JayS on the low chance M&J did flip).
Not sure if that was his conscious intention though! He now plays his mutiny and should extend his prospects in the game? But im not so sure it does - depending on the rules - if mutiny swaps take place and then if M's swap trigger gets played then it all rejigs again?
Ideally u wait for the swap first before playing the mutiny (if needed)... but poor Egg doesnt have an option and has to take his chances as they can only get better?

I was so looking forward for them to get the mutiny I didn't even thought of the possibility of the other returnees being like no don't do that wow lol I feel there might be some mike vs dylan in the future with how he was so passionate about this while the rest of the returnees didn't seem to contribute much to the 'just try harder' speech. Also that was a good Mike confessional

I wonder if bc if I remember right the other tribe has the advantage too if they did do it, would the other tribe just reverse it?? I feel like I'd try anyway even if the returnees don't want to work with you, there's still new newbies that you haven't tried to convince yet idk. but they're still not fully aware of how solid the whateversquad is it seems

Jay S kinda carrying, every great season needs a great villain. Eggroll was creative with that twist but executed it terribly. He actually put enough fear in the people who are in the middle to potentially flip, but A: he should have shown it to them before tribal or B: not said he would be taking out Jay S if he goes, what incentive do the others have to flip on Jay S if they’re not afraid they could be taken out? He should have said he would be randomly picking someone from the 5 if him or Mike go.
