This is pretty much what a rainy day looks like for me living in this tiny home on wheels. Because there is bad weather doesn't mean that I won't be getting things done, life goes on and I still need to fill up my water tank, wash dishes, and take care of some other van chores before getting ready for my friend's Jakob birthday party tonight. The rain flooded San Diego so I had to keep and eye out on the water level too stay safe while sleeping in my camper van.

Rainy days are not so bad… except when you get a flood alert at 2:00 AM 😅 I missed making vlogs like this! I enjoyed a lot sharing some of my intimate moments with my friend on this one! I think that I should do it more often. What do you guys think? Do you wanna meet more of my friends and see more of the things I do not just as a vanlifer but as a regular human being!?

You know how you're traveling all over the place? Well I was just curious if you was going to travel to Ohio or like New York you know all these other places.
Little steps Lidia. You’ve overcome one difficult challenge and got back in front of the camera. Depression can be very debilitating but you have shown enormous strength and willpower to start bouncing back. Take care and keep that gorgeous smile of yours coming.

@@LidiaRico rhodiola from paradise herbs 1 in the morning on an empty stomach with water is what I take and found it makes me feel great, later I found it's used for depression (this is not medical advice so check with your doctor first)
Its really cool of you to show everyone the real life van experience. I remember going to sleep in below freezing weather all covered in sleeping bags only to wake up a few hours later in a pile of sweat because the sun woke up and tried to bake me alive lol I hope you keep the videos coming and that you have smiles everyday!

@@LidiaRico a bit more overlandy. i built a 2010 Tahoe and then an 86 4 runner both with solar powered fridges and fold out cots. peeps keep buying them faster than i can enjoy them lol. a dog adopted me so I'm thinking something bigger like a van or maybe even a stepvan so the dog and I can try a drive to panama.

in the 70’s my girlfriend and me lived out of my little ford pinto on the Santa Monica beach I was more flexible back then. We both worked at the Santa Monica pier during the day there were showers everywhere on the beach. It was epic I doubt you could do that today. 😊

Lidia, hi, Matt again, the guy that's had the same Westy for 21 years. I'm here in San Diego as well and my partner and I are full-time vanners for 4 years now. I can give you some tips. First you can fill your water from outside the van. It is the porthole farthest to the right. Rechargeable plasma torch to light your stove so you don't miss burning your cute fingers. Three it looks like you're using your front cloth for your side window. There are two little nubbins to stretch fit the existing clock on your sliding door. Hope this helps. Without a reply I fear these tips are going into a black hole so this will be my final message unless I get some sort of reply knowing that you are receiving them. Kind Regards - Matt
I don’t fío up the water from outside for several reasons but mainly because it will avoid rust damage. I don’t mind my lighter so I guess as long as I have one I’ll use it :) and then I have to get the curtain rods and missing curtains!!! It’s getting annoying hehe 😜

You’re welcome! The only thing with this heater is that you should always keep and eye on it and crack a tiny bit a window for airflow
Great Video! Rain can sometimes ruin adventures, but having a van makes it better because you have a comfortable place to kick back make some food and stay dry. I’ve been there and I’m thankful for my van. Keep making videos for us and stay safe!
