Fun fact. Amazing Spider-Man 238 is the only Canadian price variant book that included the tattooz. Even though other books such as fantastic four advertised on the cover that there would be tattoos included when you got home you were disappointed to find no tattoos in your fantastic four Canadian price variant.
Ah sweet you's added Xmen adventures, I forget the condition of my copy possibly over 9.0. I'll have to check my spiderman copies of 'Web of' and 'Peter parker' ones.
Don't forget that UF4 2nd print has 1/4 the print run of the 1st print and its super obtainable(for now) compared to the 1st prints. Will be harder to find in the future.
@Metal Bum that can be said about asm300, hulk181, and every other high value silver/bronze book that had a print run near 300k+. No one said uf4 was scarce, just that less copies of one would be available than another.
Where does Spidey Super Stories #11 1975, 1st Spider-Woman (out of continuity) end up, with all the multiverse spider-hype and multiple Earths. Does this make the "out of continuity" a non-factor and give the issue potential?
Yeah but the problem is with Spider Woman number 1 there was a huge Warehouse found on that book on issue 1 and a lot of them you can get in high grade
Hasbro has been hurting for a while now financially. I’m not surprised if they release even more collaborations with their IPs. Wizards of the Coast has been their lead revenue for years and years now since they acquired them. They hold tons of Ips
@@fireguyryan9362 Spider-Man is the flagship character they need there best writing team on it ASAP. I am not even picking up any of the new stuff just going back and getting the older stuff.
@PeterPorker Yeah, I'm strictly reading current ongoing stuff, so thankfully Marvel has other books right now that are actually good, like Fantastic Four, Ghost Rider, and Guardians of the Galaxy, for starters
X men adventures 1 isn’t the first appearance of Morph originally he was called Changeling and his first appearance is X Men 35 from the late 60s He dies a few issues later in 42 disguised as Professor X. His name was changed to Morph for the Age of Apocalypse event. Although X men adventures 1 is the first time he’s called Morph it’s not the characters first appearance.
I pretty much overpaid for my copy of X-Men Adventures #1. It was on Whatnot and, since a lotta sellers don’t label the auctions, I’ve no idea by how much.
@@MPressiveComics But its neither here nor there. If you really admire a particular writer or artist and get them to sign your book - you do it for yourself. I have a few signed books, Neal Adams. Jim Lee, Brian Azzarello, Norm Breyfogle...but none of them are graded or sig series. I would like a John Romita sig on a Spidey book. But I wouldnt pay big $$$ for one.
I don't think they would make Ned Leeds Hobgoblin in the movies. They gave him the Ned Leeds name but he's clearly Ganke and it would be better to keep him in the Spiderman's buddy role.
The amount of UF4. The census keeps growing. Making it less and less rare. UF 4 is modern overprinted boon. With tons of 9.8. And it’s value will decrease with time. I know dealers with long boxes full of UF4 ungraded variants. Just waiting to dump on people
I snagged a newsstand 9.8 of X-men adventures 1 a couple years ago- can’t wait for the book to blow up, it’s my most prized possession. The X-men animated series got me into the hobby.
When asking James Tynion about how he came about the character in W0RLDTR33, he told me she was partially inspired by the villain Anton Chigur I’m the movie No Country for Old Men. I can see it.
Yeah the Trending 10 are books that tend to be newer and rise and fall in value quicker. The Hot 10 video with Gem Mint has the Big Boy Books you're looking for, but the downside there is those comics tend to repeat themselves week over week. You get repeat offenders all the time in that video, but the Trending 10 has a lot more variety
So Spider-Woman #1 is trending, but Marvel Spotlight #32, Jessica Drew Spider-Woman's actual debut (which, full disclosure, I have a beautiful high grade raw copy) everyone is sleeping on. Makes sense. smh
There is a WHAT IF issue that tells the story of the clone surviving. That is where it should have ended. The writers were clearly reaching for ideas when the Clone Saga of the 90s began.
i still remember seeing the the UF4 ratio variant sitting on the counter at my lcs for $20 the day it came out and not picking it up. still haunts me to this day.
Glad to see Spider-Woman #1 on here, one of my favourite covers! Was lucky enough to find one in the wild on a random outing
I can’t wait too get the next mystery mail call. It was packaged so well. No one does it better.
About the X-Men Adventures #1. I think there’s not much 9.8’s because it’s not worth the grading at this point. I know I’m keeping mine raw for now.
Fun fact. Amazing Spider-Man 238 is the only Canadian price variant book that included the tattooz. Exactly that’s a classic book too. Long term hood. Solid investment unlike the modern speculation bubbles.
Thanks another now I need to get another book. Great
Ah sweet you's added Xmen adventures, I forget the condition of my copy possibly over 9.0. I'll have to check my spiderman copies of 'Web of' and 'Peter parker' ones.
Hopefully my copy of Ultimate Fallout becomes a great investment, because I won’t be selling mine anytime soon.
Don't forget that UF4 2nd print has 1/4 the print run of the 1st print and its super obtainable(for now) compared to the 1st prints. Will be harder to find in the future.
Yeah those are not scarce. They’re overprinted modern books. I have a long box fulll of UF4
@Metal Bum that can be said about asm300, hulk181, and every other high value silver/bronze book that had a print run near 300k+. No one said uf4 was scarce, just that less copies of one would be available than another.
I like the second print better because you can see his face. Also a smaller print run
@@MetalBum I would love to see that long box. Also, why do you have a long box full of them and not just selling them off?
Where does Spidey Super Stories #11 1975, 1st Spider-Woman (out of continuity) end up, with all the multiverse spider-hype and multiple Earths. Does this make the "out of continuity" a non-factor and give the issue potential?
I bought a uf4 variant for 4k - should have sold it for 11k when it was up
Amazing Spider-Man with hobgoblin first ASM 238. Is actually a classic book. Long term HOLD
Hey, fellas, how about some love for ASM 149? THE ACTUAL 1ST APPEARANCE OF BEN REILLY! Sorry for yelling.
I’m surprised Marvel Spotlight 32 never didn’t make the list.
It’s a head scratcher to see that book not appear but the Spider-Woman 1 does.
Nice to see Micronauts #1 and ASM #238 getting some love on the charts
Yeah but the problem is with Spider Woman number 1 there was a huge Warehouse found on that book on issue 1 and a lot of them you can get in high grade
this
Came to say this. I was hammering this every time it was on the list when it was hitting $1000
Yea id stay away
When was that, and where can I get one of those copies?
I have the Cdn Variant of ASM 238 ..but no Tatooz unfortunately. Still better than a regular direct edition though.
Enjoyed the video. Keep up the great work!
Hasbro has been hurting for a while now financially. I’m not surprised if they release even more collaborations with their IPs. Wizards of the Coast has been their lead revenue for years and years now since they acquired them. They hold tons of Ips
I’m pretty sure Amazing Spider-Man #149 is the 1st App. Of Ben Reilly, not Web of Spider-Man 118 x
4 out 10 this week. Great video. Glad to see Spider Woman on the list. 😎
I have a sharp RAW copies of the newsstand X-Men Adventure #1. Is that worth more than the direct?
Anyone who is at all in the know would get all 12 issues of secret wars, and not tempt fate of not having the correct one.
Micronauts 28 was my first comic. I bought it at my local Greyhound station. It's probably the best issue in the series.
You are right Spider-Man comics have not been good for a long time they really need a new writer badly.
Get the old ones. The vintage soideman
This Zeb Wells run is really making me miss Nick Spencer and Ryan Ottley 😅

Question does the Canadian price variant have Tattoos. I heard it doesn't.
I have a great Web of Spiderman 118 that I would love to get graded. Its easly a 9.8.. nice to see this book back onthe top 10.
Loved the in depth analysis you guys did in this vid. Awesome stuff. 👍👍
Feels like we might be going a bit TOO in depth sometimes! 😅 Gotta shorten these vids
@@fireguyryan9362 I like the extra details. Lol just saying

Why is spiderman woman #1 on there over marvel spotlight 32?
To land on the Trending list it ranks by copies sold. Marvel Spotlight is harder to get than Spider-Woman 1, so that's all it takes
What is newstand Ultimate Fallout 4 going for?
Your soul or 2 first born son's
Great shirt Tom

I got 2 raw ultimate fallout 4 djurdjevic variant.
5 for 10 on this week's list. Not bad!!
What about the census count on signed copies of X-Men the Animated series?
Signed copies dont matter that much. Most serious collectors dont even want them.
@@Boxingbear Dammnit!!!
Yeah, for the record when we track Census numbers it's only blue label standard stuff, no signatures or restored copies or anything

Agreeeeeee. Plus having Peter's best friend go Goblin is something we already got in Spider-Man 3!
So Spider-Man is all of marvel and DC basically

A 9.8 Marvel Spotlight 32 is $2k, most people can't afford it.
Marvel Two in One 30-31 are her 2nd-3rd appearances; Spider-Woman 1 is her 4th appearance.
Who wants to see a 5' 2" Hobgoblin? He's fine as a Peter Parker friend.
