The Ju87, also known as the Stuka, is an intriguing aircraft to pilot. With its heavy bombs, taking off can be challenging, yet it is extremely satisfying when these bombs accurately hit the target. The sirens attached to the plane, initially in many instances, would often fall off the aircraft during the dive recovery, causing damage. Thus, for the pilots, having these sirens was not particularly beneficial. However, they were later better integrated into the aircraft's design. Additionally, while the sirens are frequently referred to as "Jericho trumpets" online, this term was not commonly used for the sirens in reality or historically.
so yeah... here's a short video of IL-2 in Virtual Reality. Hope you enjoy it!

Oh yes, IL2 in VR has been a game changer for me. It makes every single action feels much more natural and enjoyable, I highly recomande it if VR does not make you sick. Also, it performes much better than DCS World regarding VR (I love both).

Hello, just wondering the graphic in this VR of yours. I have the original Oculus Rift and, while amaziong and beautiful, its pixelated a tad, especially for trying to see wheter a plane is enemy or friendly. I have to rely on my knowledge of silhouette more. Would you say you can clearly see who's plane you're chasing in the quest 2 ?

What map or server are you on? I don't ever recall seeing that kind of snow in il2, its either all green ground or all white snow. How did you do it? Is it a setting?

Do you use the quest 3 wireless or wired for il2? I'm using virtual desktop but I'm getting like 35 frames and I'm wondering if wired is better

No, the Pico 4 is still a great headset and I for example prefer to play IL 2 with the pico 4 instead of the Q3. you can still go for a while with the pico 4!
